This is easily the best indian food I've had in OC. Generous portions, hospitable attitude, and 'refillable' rice! Not too expensive either given the portion size, SO worth it. DONT WALK RUNNNN here!!! All the spice variants are so accessible from mild to medium to spicy- There's also indian spicy (the hottest level) which I got, and it was PROPERLY spicy. Mild was not spicy at all if you don't want that. Seriously though, fabulous place, workers, and owner. Lovely.“

“Amazing flavor profile. Had the chicken korma burrito and masala tots. Both were solid on the portion for price. I love Indian food and this a good place to go without breaking the bank since it’s hard for me to pick one thing with a more traditional Indian place.

This is fusion at its best! If you’re interested you won’t be disappointed! I think this is also a good place to bring someone in who’s never had Indian food.

Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. I’m sad I forgot to grab some sauces.

“A solid option for buffet style Indian food. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in OC but it is decently priced and they have a fair amount of variety and dishes to choose from. What stood out to me most was the paneer curry and the tikka masala. Was not the biggest fan of the goat dish or the chili chicken. I liked the atmosphere in here though. Very clean and they had the Bollywood music on in the background which really helps set the mood lol.“

their buffet was STOCKED too, with salad and fresh fruit (watermelon), fresh crispy pakora and samosa, plain rice, biryani, tandoori chicken, all your sauces and raita, and at least 10 different curries including chicken tikka masala, goat curry, veggie korma, saag paneer, and so many more that I wish I could remember. they also have mango pudding and a delicious rice pudding and gulab jamun. they bring over baskets of fresh, hot garlicky naan that’s perfect crispy on the corners and soft and pillowing throughout, perfect for dragging through their delectable sauces. their curries were not too spicy (good for a pregnant palate!) but rich in flavor and full of delicious veggies and high quality meat. this was such a winner!! definitely adding this one to the regular roster.“

“I would strongly disagree with any negative reviews here - we catered from Vishnu Catering for our large Indian wedding the entire weekend and it was the best food we and many of our guests have ever had at a wedding! Ram was kind, helpful, professional, and incredibly reliable as a vendor - we never had to worry about anything going wrong with catering and he was easily one of our favorite and best vendors of the whole process. The food and drink was phenomenal across all events. We are still getting comments from guests, Indian and non-Indian, about how amazing the food was. “This is a really amazing food place in the Irvine spectrum. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, The young lady working the counter was delightful – we definitely will be back here every time we hit the spectrum highly recommend.

– I normally think most of the places in the spectrum are overpriced too crowded noisy and service is bad and the food is mediocre – THIS IS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE!!!!“
