“Been coming for years. Always love it. But the matcha really went downhill in the last couple years. It’s chalky and powdery and taste awful. It used to be perfect. They changed something and we have to pick other places to go if we’re wanting a good matcha. Coffee also changed in that time period. Not as bad tho just a little less good quality. But bc their food is on point and the atmosphere is amazing ppl probably just accept it. I wish they’d go back to the old matchas at least“

“**A sweet slice of heaven in Santa Monica!** Junior Cookies is an absolute *gem*. I came in for the cookies (which are AMAZING – warm, gooey, and perfectly crisp on the edges), but I stayed for the whole vibe. Their ice cream is ultra creamy with rich, dreamy flavors that pair perfectly with the cookies—highly recommend making your own cookie cream with ice cream with cookies! I was also pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee is. It’s bold, smooth, and just what I needed to balance out the sugar rush. Honestly, it’s rare to find a cookie shop where the coffee actually stands out, but Junior Cookies gets it right. Best coffee, best cookies, best matcha, and best ice cream in la! The place is super cute inside, with a cozy neighborhood feel and friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. You can tell everything is made with love. The cookies and recipes are unique. 5 star bakery in LA. If you're in Santa Monica, **don’t miss this spot**. Whether you’re craving dessert, a caffeine fix, or just want to treat yourself, Junior Cookies delivers!“

“I just ordered for the first time today and I must say your food is fantastic! Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Went to your place near corner of Van Nuys and Burbank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED“

“While traveling in LA, I accidentally discovered a wonderful cafe. Despite the early morning rain, people were lining up outside. (Small space to wait inside)The menu featured several unique drinks not found in typical coffee shops, and they tasted incredible.
Learning that it was a Korean brand made me feel quite proud, and I was delighted to find out they also have a location in New York where I live. I purchased a bag of coffee beans, which came in beautifully designed packaging. I fully intend to visit the New York branch soon. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit.“

“I have a business nearby, so I come to Pura Vida Beverly Hills often for lunch, coffee, and sometimes breakfast. Their All Green Smoothie is absolutely bombastic—my favorite! The food is always incredibly fresh, the coffee is great, and the croissants are delicious.
The service is consistently 10/10, and the whole place has a fun vacation vibe that makes every visit enjoyable. If you’re in Beverly Hills and looking for a healthy, fresh meal or a great coffee, I definitely recommend stopping by!“

“The most important element to me when reviewing a coffee shop is the coffee. Good Intentions serves up 5-star coffee drinks. The first sip gave me that wow feeling and brought a smile to my face. The service was courteous and a peaceful. The atmosphere was bright and what you’d expect at a small coffee shop. It’s definitely a spot to put it on your coffee shop rotation list.“

“This isn't a coffee shop. It's a communal space. The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. This is where I bring friends that love good coffee and a peaceful conversation.“

“Really good food but not spectacular. Wonderful ambiance and our server was fantastic. Parking lot underground is very convenient. Prices were not exorbitant. But at the end of the day, I didn't really eat anything that would make me go back“

“If you’re going to the Academy Museum for a visit or a screening make sure to stop at Fanny’s (located inside the museum’s first floor) for a coffee, snack or meal. They have a cafe and restaurant, both offering quality food and beverages and a full bar. The restaurant has comfortable seating options and the cafe offers outdoor seating. The service is friendly and attentive. You’ll definitely have a great time and a good meal!“

“Solid local coffee spot with tremendous vibes. The interior is real neat, plus I dunno if it was intentional or not but I ordered a drink for myself and my lady friend, who wasn't there, and the barista put my drink in a black cup and hers in a pink cup. Just sheer genius. I think she registered I said it was for my female friend so she did it on purpose but either way, mad good.
The maple latte is real nice, good coffee with maple syrup is always the best. Would get again.“
“Stumbled on this place by myself! The owners were so sweet and attentive. Feels very cozy and clean. A great place to post up for work.
The coffee was delicious and the food was right up there with it. I got an off menu salmon tartine that she recommended and then treated myself to the pancakes. Delicious and will come back!!“

“Finally tried Mood for their newly launched dinner service!
I’ve been seeing this place all over Instagram and couldn't wait to visit this trendy LA hotspot.
The Vibe & Space: It’s actually a bit cozier and smaller than it looks on social media, but that made the atmosphere even better! The decor and table settings are incredibly cute, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
The Food: The culinary quality is outstanding. The meat dishes were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. I also loved their menu concept—they feature unique dishes inspired by various cultures, which made choosing what to order so much fun.
Pro-Tip: Since the space is on the smaller side, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially now that their dinner service is getting popular.
It completely lived up to the social media hype. I will definitely be back!“

“If you add protein powder to a bowl, you will be raw dogging it. Thought it would be mixed in… if you let it melt a bit you can mix it in yourself. I was, however, impressed w the amount of fruit they give you. The front worker was sweet. Shaded outdoor seating available. It’s a cute vibe.“

“This was my first time visiting Jesse's Grind, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy from the moment I walked in. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. I ordered an iced coffee and a sandwich, and both were fresh, delicious, and made with care. Everything tasted amazing, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The shop itself was clean, inviting, and had a great vibe. I also loved the selection of pastries and baked goods. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back.“

“My favorite coffee shops in Studio City. Their baked goods are fresh and iced caramel latte is addicting. I order two and both are just for me. Parking is a bit of an issue sometimes and they can get busy. But the staff fulfills orders pretty fast so the wait is not that bad. I haven’t ordered anything off their prepared dishes but that’s on my to do list.“

“Layla Bagels is a uniquely special bagel place with creative flavors and addictively good & chewy bagels .
I got the Evil Steve on a jalapeños cheddar bagel for brunch and it was perhaps the best brunch bagel of my life ! The combination of slightly spicy pepper jam with tangy goat cheese smear and delicious smoked turkey wrapped in the jalapeño cheese bagel is extraordinary. Best part was the crunchy and crispy shallots to add that final profile in an already special bagel . Out of this world good .
They are also offering a gluten free bagel which is also rare to see .
If Layla were to ever expand to other states they would have a huge following.
Keep up the great work & creative flavors!“

“Travelled from Nova Scotia, Canada recently for an event. Love hunting down good coffee and good vibes. Rented a car for the day and stumbled on Awkward Coffee. Based on the name alone I knew we had to go. Very friendly staff, great selection of specialty drinks and sweet treats. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. Take care, everyone, and hope to see you all again.“

Whether you’re here for a sit down meal to catch up with friends, or need a quick to go pastry or dessert, Aroma will never disappoint.
This can be a very popular spot, so prepare for a small line and wait for an open table.
Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Many of the pastries and desserts are vegan and/or gluten free.

“After reading Google Reviews, this place was on our list for breakfast while visiting Calabasas. It's really an old diner with good old fashioned breakfast. “I loved my iced hazelnut latte. I felt like the coffee quality is much better than a commercialized place (obviously!). There was a good selection for coffee and teas. Matcha brownie is something I will have to try next time. Even though there was only one person working at the counter, I still felt that it was all prepared in a timely fashion. Seating is limited but you can tell locals like this place. It was filled with people in a relaxed atmosphere when you walk into the coffee shop.“
