“The Acai bowl was on point !! Better than the one at the mall (except there aren’t any options for other fruits but that’s more than fine !!!)
Take out, consistency of the Acai was pure and thick.
Cold brew coffee was good !“

“Real as it gets. Really good coffee. Got the cream top drink, sweet cream on top and long black underneath. I didn't know what long black is so for those like me, it's like an Americano except the espresso is poured on top of water (rather than the water into the espresso) which apparently makes it taste richer.
Idk about all that hoopla, but here's what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.
With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee - which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it's about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.
That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn't enjoying it as much. I'm unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn't work as well as I thought, but didn't like it as much.
Still, I will return. Very good coffee.“

“**A sweet slice of heaven in Santa Monica!** Junior Cookies is an absolute *gem*. I came in for the cookies (which are AMAZING – warm, gooey, and perfectly crisp on the edges), but I stayed for the whole vibe. Their ice cream is ultra creamy with rich, dreamy flavors that pair perfectly with the cookies—highly recommend making your own cookie cream with ice cream with cookies! I was also pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee is. It’s bold, smooth, and just what I needed to balance out the sugar rush. Honestly, it’s rare to find a cookie shop where the coffee actually stands out, but Junior Cookies gets it right. Best coffee, best cookies, best matcha, and best ice cream in la! The place is super cute inside, with a cozy neighborhood feel and friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. You can tell everything is made with love. The cookies and recipes are unique. 5 star bakery in LA. If you're in Santa Monica, **don’t miss this spot**. Whether you’re craving dessert, a caffeine fix, or just want to treat yourself, Junior Cookies delivers!“

“This isn't a coffee shop. It's a communal space. The coffee is basically free if you think of your donation as more of a rental fee to be in this lovely communal space and have access to all that it offers. This place is ideal for making plans with business partners, writing scripts with friends, or just getting together for some time away from screens and computers. This place is tailored toward bringing diverse people together into one place to sharing ideas and stories with each other. As for the coffee and baristas both are fantastic. Cappuccino rocked me off my behind all day cuz I'm used to watered down crappuccinos from Starbucks. I love this place. This is where I bring friends that love good coffee and a peaceful conversation.“

“I just ordered for the first time today and I must say your food is fantastic! Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Went to your place near corner of Van Nuys and Burbank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED“

“Really love this spot and I'm so glad it exists! What a neighborhood gem. You can tell they love their community and they have a lot of regulars here. I love a coffee shop that feels like a home away from home. This is definitely the place. I got the iced oatchata. So good! Friendly service and great vibes. I'll be back for sure!“

“Hands down the BEST small coffee shop experience in LA! Tasty coffee and matcha lattes alike, coupled with a super friendly owner + employees as well as a wall full pictures of dogs who’ve visited (of which my cavapoo is proudly featured), makes a welcoming experience I will frequently go back to.“

“Between a 3 and 4 star for the following reasons:
Cons: the salmon in the bowl was too fishy for my liking even though the rest of the bowl was good. My friend said her raw tuna was fine though. They give all iced drinks in plastic cups for sit down, that is not ok in 2026. The noise inside is unbearably loud with no sound proofing and loud pop music on top of that. Wish they did table service though I won’t hold that against them since a lot of places make you order at the counter as well.
Pros: beautiful beachy decor, clean, great friendly service, delicious matcha and other than the salmon the food was delicious.
All in all will come back and see if the other dishes are good.“

“Got their passion fruit green tea with boba and their peach black tea with boba and lychee jelly. I could really taste the passion fruit in the tea, and it wasn’t too sweet! Would definitely come back and try other drinks especially with that everything is pretty customizable!! On top of it all, the workers were really nice and welcoming.“

“Dubb’s Organic Coffee Blends is a legit hidden gem in West Hollywood. I usually come in for their Americanos and banana muffin, but they recently started serving lunch and dinner on weekends and their jerk chicken dinner blew me away. Super tender, real smoky jerk flavor, and the mac, yams, and broccoli were all on point. If you’re looking for organic food or the best jerk chicken in West Hollywood, this spot is absolutely worth it.“

“After reading Google Reviews, this place was on our list for breakfast while visiting Calabasas. It's really an old diner with good old fashioned breakfast. Service was really good, breakfast was great and selection on the menu was awesome. While we got lucky finding a parking spot on a busy Sunday morning, I can see where that could be an issue.“

“Very cute coffee shop. They have tables outside and inside. Has a good amount of space. I came here because this coffee shop donates parts of their profits to an organization that supports immigrant families. Its a very noble thing to do. Owner was very nice and staff was super friendly and helpful. Place got a little busy when we were there but they were pretty organized for how busy they were. Coffee was delicious. I ordered a regular latte with whole milk and liquid sugar. Very good. The food was delicious too. I got the raspberry croissant and that was also a treat. The Sourdough toast with Salmon and avocado was really good too. I will definitely be back.“

“This place is amazing! They have an AWESOME happy hour and the setting (half open air bar and seating + half inside spacious restaurant) is honestly perfect for LA. Great vibes. Fantastic staff across the board. I love everyone there and wish I knew all of their names because I have only had good experiences, but Aria and Jake are two recent favorites. Highly recommend The Henry for brunch, dinner, drinks, or as mentioned - happy hour!“

“Travelled from Nova Scotia, Canada recently for an event. Love hunting down good coffee and good vibes. Rented a car for the day and stumbled on Awkward Coffee. Based on the name alone I knew we had to go. Very friendly staff, great selection of specialty drinks and sweet treats. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. Take care, everyone, and hope to see you all again.“

“Yummy! I had the Impossible Burrito with avocado. I was afraid it would be too spicy or greasy..sooo not the case. It was so delicious 💕 The flavor was multi-layered, surprisingly outstanding and it had some crunchiness. I will definitely be returning soon. “This place is wonderful. I love the decor's aesthetic and the small coffee shop feel. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was amazing and I immediately thought of remaking it myself when I travel back home. The coffee was just ok. The drip tasted and smelled burned. I got an orange latte. I usually don't like orange in my coffee but figured I hadn't tried it in a while and I might as well try in California. It was the only specialty latte that I saw on the menu as others were teas. The first sip was just sour but it ended up growing on me!“

“I really love this local café, but the WiFi can be pretty inconsistent and goes in and out, which makes it tough if you’re coming here to work or study. Reliable, strong WiFi is honestly one of the most important things for a place like this, especially since so many people bring their laptops.
I’d kindly suggest looking into upgrading the WiFi, moving the router, or even switching providers. It would make a huge difference and elevate the experience even more.
Other than that, I genuinely love this place. It does get pretty busy, but I appreciate that you can order a tea and get refills with more hot water. It’s a nice touch. I also really like their egg salad sandwich.
Overall, great spot with a lot to love, especially bcus it’s close to home, and even better if the WiFi gets improved.“

“Wonderful Café and food! Everything was delicious, beautiful presentation. Nice decor with 3 options for sitting... amongst large plants outside before you come in, inside where tables are cleaned and spaced well for privacy, and in a side courtyard.
Their roasted coffee was heaven (I even bought a bag to take home).
I wish we had such place in Las Vegas!
Hope to come back soon!“
