“My partner and I genuinely get Bopomofo minimum once a week ever since we first tried it. The bala matcha (guava matcha latte) is one of my fav drinks in existence. I really appreciate that they don’t charge extra for oat milk. Also love that they offer vegan food options - the vegetarian (it’s also vegan) popcorn chicken is super good. I hope they add a vegan sauce besides ketchup in the future. Orders can take some time to come out, but ordering online ahead of time always work best for me.

Their customer service is also 10/10. I ordered online from the Artesia location by mistake a few weeks ago. The manager on shift, Suh, promptly connected with the Artesia location to organize a refund for me. They also provided me with their direct contact info in case I had any issues with receiving the refund. I really appreciate the SD staff for still fulfilling my order 10min before close. We were sat at an oval table exclusively to ourselves with candles and wonderful ambiance. Included was a little note card that read “A Dinner Written By You” . Wow. Our server was Chef Choi himself. A The main course was an Australian Wagyu with fingerling potatoes in a chile con carne sauce based from my girlfriend’s childhood. The wagyu melted in our mouths. Potatoes so crispy and delicious you forgot what other potatoes tasted like. A sauce so savory, bursting with tomatillo, garlic, and other flavors. Perfectly balanced as all things should be. The unexpected dish that left me in so much shock was the Greek wedding soup. A cold dish that is better experienced than explained. If I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life it would never be enough. Nothing I could say would live up to the incredible flavors. I ate mine and half my girlfriend’s portion. Finally, a dessert course that was as stunning as it was delicious, showcasing unexpected flavor combinations that worked in perfect harmony. A hot desert, a play on sticky rice. Cardamon, sugar, a small stone fruit with rich notes of raisin and plum. The second dessert was unexpected and intended for my likes (which I found to be such a class act). A ferment plum wine reduction that he infused into a frozen dish (somewhere in the realm of sorbet meets gelato) with a crème brûlée top. Amazing, outstanding. Chef Choi himself took the time to visit our table, a gesture that truly elevated the experience. He shared his inspiration for the menu, spoke about the ingredients, and genuinely wanted to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. “Oh my gosh, the food never disappoints, it’s so good! Definitely comparable to Din Tai Fung but at a much affordable price (: My family LOVES coming here. The service is so fast and always correct too. The ambiance is simple and can be a little loud at times, but that’s not a problem for us. I do wish they had more pescatarian/vegetarian/vegan options though, because their dumplings are usually mixed with some kind of meat, which makes it a little difficult for bringing friends and family that have those dietary preferences. However, their tofu is delicious and their cucumber salad and green beans are “BUSSIN”
My husband and my favorite, though, is their pork soup dumplings! Their chicken soup dumplings are good too, but for us, nothing beats the classic.

Original lamb kabobs - again, nicely seasoned and definitely not spicy. Delish

Lamb spare ribs - the marinade is nice and they are delivered cooked well and juicy

Enoki wrapped in pork bely - I was shocked by how delightful these are! Caution, they are tightly wrapped and retain a lot of heat (temperature) as well as juicy flavor

Steamed dumplings - they weren't bad but not my favorite

Beef kabobs -lacked seasoning but you do have it on your tray. I am a lamb girly so they weren't my favorite but I still enjoyed them.

“Loved my impromptu dine-in experience! I was waiting for my car to be fixed and found Pho Ha Noi on Google since it was a short walk away. The dine-in experience is basic & straight forward - you order at the counter and they bring the food to you when it’s ready.

I tried the grilled shrimp vermicelli noodle bowl and an iced Vietnamese coffee to-go. The server was very friendly & efficient and the food was delicious! I loved the pickled vegetables, the veggies were fresh, and the shrimp was sautéed with perfectly crisp/golden garlic & onions. I would definitely eat here again since I’d like to try a tofu dish 😊“
