“Onny's Thai Restaurant was great! I'm so glad we found this place. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. I was so full but couldn't stop eating it because the flavors were so delicious! I only did level 2 (out of 10) spice since I don't like my food super spicy. I probably could've gone with a 3 or 4 just for a little kick. I would definitely recommend and would come back!“

The only thing I would mention to the owners/who ever is in charge: give the workers chairs or other things to sit on between customers other than buckets on the ground. “This is the best place in Vista to get pho! My husband and I love trying different pho places in the area but nothing beats Tasty Pho! We come here at least once a week to eat. The owner of the restaurant is so kind and very helpful. He remembers us and always asks about our daughter. He has helped me carry our orders out to the car and has even offered to hold our daughter while we are eating. Very sweet man! My favorite pho to get is the shrimp pho and my husbands is the slice of rare steak and well done brisket pho. The egg rolls are also super delicious and we always get them.“
“LOVE <3!!! I have gotten it 4 times already in less than a month, the tuna and salmon is so high quality, the veggies are also fresh! Plus, the (white) rice is “safe” and doesn’t conjure any bad memories about the time I got food poisoning and thought the rice I ate that day was the cause.(despite not being true) The workers are fast at assembling all the ingredients you want together, and it’s a very calm atmosphere, the floors are pacific and the overall decor! I always get a regular bowl, (with avocado) and the prices do come out to be 17 dollars, and I don’t really make use out of that price tbh since I don’t get any sauces and for some reason limit myself to 3 toppings? However, that price does look good, a step further from “reasonable” if you order efficiently, and considering fish is expensive, as well as how healthy it can be depending on your order, (most definitely is a balanced meal, carbs, protein, fats, fiber…) it’s worth it. Furthermore, I really enjoy the ,Subway’ style, with the salad bar and protein bar(?) and being able to customize your own order while looking at it. By the end of this review, you’re probably NOT surprised that poke bowls has become my favorite food in this exact span of time… I yet to try the pokirito, which I hope I decide one day to to order!!! ?Vegetarian options: You can get the veggie bowl!!! It just includes the toppings and the base with some tofu as the protein.“
“Had a yummy lunch at Chinese Korean fusion restaurant CHIKO. We sat on the dog friendly patio where you order through QR codes on the table. We ordered the XO shrimp, spicy kumin lamb stir fry, and pork belly bao. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food comes out quick. Recommend, not many Asian fusion restaurants in the area.“

“This place is awesome because they load it up. I got the 4 choice protein, Large, for 16 dollars and was amazed at their portions. Usually, a large is a place's highest option but Poki Poki had a larger option.Everything can be added without a fee except for the avocado.The place is nice too, it's clean and if you go at the right time, quiet. On this day, they had a movie playing to which I enjoyed half my plate. There was so much food that I'd have to finish it later in the day-yet it still felt like a full sized meal each time.The flavors are not the boldest when compared to other places but having almost every side gave it a good variety in taste. Regardless of the flavor, the fish and sides, salads and rice were all very fresh and delicious.“
“Generally reluctant to get Asian food outside of Kearny Mesa but I was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the stone pot with beef and a side of kimchi. The bowl was well balanced with all the veggies and having the option to additionally season your bowl is nice. I will say that it does come with an absolute minimal serving of protein (maybe 2 or 3 oz total) in the bowl and $4 for a tiny side of kimchi is a bit outrageous (total serving size pictured), but can't deny that it was delicious. I'd prefer to go to Kearny but if I was around the area and craving bibimbap, it's a decent option.“

“I came here for the orange chicken and it did not disappoint in flavor. Entree dinners come with a small side of rice, definitely large enough to share!! I went with my Chinese friend and she appreciated the attention to detail in the way they've decorated the dining room, with Chinese artifacts and darker lighting. The service was friendly and attentive. The hot tea was delicious!!!“

“My family and I ate at Chins Szechuan in Rancho Bernardo last night. We were all extremely pleased with everything about the restaurant. We all just kept eating even though we were full because the food was so good. Our server was really on the ball. She was friendly, helpful, and quick to get anything we needed. There were so many great choices on the menu. You have to try the Walnut Shrimp and the wings were phenomenal, but then again so were the braised green beans. Well actually it was all so good it was difficult to pick a favorite. It was all fantastic! We would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back as it has become our new favorite!.“
“If you can eat gluten this place is fantastic. They have a lot of GF next to dishes but in the small print below, on the menu, it says it can be made GF but you have to ask. I have been sick 3 days now because of this misunderstanding. I may go back, but maybe not. “A hidden gem! We are travelers and just wandering around Escondido looking for a place to grub....and they beckoned us in! Super nice guys serving and bartending and really good food!!! Because it was a small place with a relaxed bar vibe, we expected just decent bar food. Nope! The menu was as way better than bar food. My hubby had a great Greek gyro, my son had tasty Buffalo wings, and I had spicy edamame that I loved. Then, my son had two desserts...Choco molten cake and then crème brûlée. Really...in a neighborhood bar? The best part was the fun and personable service. Finding places like this are the best part of vacations!“

“We were greeted by friendly staffs on Christmas Eve. I ordered a regular poke bowl with brown rice that I had shared with my partner. They give out pretty good scoops of protein. And, because I love my toppings, my bowl was a bit overfilled. We had enough to have poke for dinner. We decided to dine in, because no one was in there. Space is pretty open and clean. We enjoyed our experience and would come back again :)“

“In general great food. A little wanting on the service. I ordered through Doordash and was a disappointed when I wanted to customize my order by saying I didn't want rice. Apparently this restaurant doesn't allow custom orders, so I couldn't make the request. Their loss, since it's only saving them money that I don't want rice. I proceeded to order an app and two entrees that would typically come with rice, which showed up with only one side of rice. So not only could I not make a custom order, but if I wanted rice which I imagine the vast majority do, I would've only gotten one order to split between two meals. Seems pretty over the top frugal when I'm paying $80+ for a couple Chinese dinners and wontons. The scallops were overcooked and tasted like chicken.“
“Our go to sushi restaurant in San Marcos!! Their staff treats us well. Always welcoming and happy. We love coming here bc they have the best rolls and our family truly enjoys this place for our sushi family dinner nights!! Our favorite rolls are the Ichiban roll, Twin oaks roll, Ahi Special roll, Chicken of the Sea roll. Oh and the house fried rice we always get as well!! All must try items.
