“I walked into the restaurant on a Wednesday (March 13) night as a solo traveler (no reservation) and ended up sitting at the bar. I’m so glad I did because I not only got to enjoy the cozy yet finely curated atmosphere, but I was also able to see the bartenders at work. And let me tell you, they make amazing drinks and are awesome servers. Honestly, sit at the bar if you can! You’ll get a great experience. Highly suggest the A5 old fashioned. I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy just a regular old fashioned again- the A5 is just that good.The food is impressive- interesting and familiar yet new and unique. I narrowed my choices down and asked the bartenders recommendation - it came down to the mantou and coal roasted cabbage. If you need the perfect light dinner combination that’s your pick. The mantou sour cream topping was out of this world. It tasted like a buttery flavor-packed merengue on top of a perfectly steamed bun. The cabbage was just spicy/acidic enough and complemented the mantou perfectly.Would absolutely go here again. And if the tables are booked, go sit at the bar!!!!“
“We got 5 dishes total and 4 cocktails. All the food was delicious, however every dish had a spicy and sweet flavor profile. While delicious, compared to other restaurants of this price point, they had quite an overlap in flavor. The beet salad, and clams were outstanding. On the maximalist cocktail menu, all drinks were unique and well presented. Highly recommend the “long season” cocktail. Ambience and decor is beautiful and definitely worth a try.“
“Excellent food and great service. A smaller menu but the dishes are some of the best I've had. We've been here three times and will continue to come back. Highly recommend the stir-fried green beans, Dan Dan noodles, pork soup dumplings and the beef noodle soup.“
“A new Pinoy food place in Chula Vista area. The location is a bit more isolated from commercial areas. The dining area is a lil bit smaller but it feels good and comfortable to eat those meals freshly prepared when they served up to you. I ordered TAPSILOG, which is a combination plate of beef tapa, sunny side up egg and garlic rice. The beef tapa is very tender and very garlicky. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! For dessert, I have buko Pandan. Creamy and sweetly flavored. Super like it! Both food were served about 15 minutes and the staff has offered more choices on their menu. Staff is very friendly and helpful to recommend their best seller amongst the food choices on their menu. I am happy that there are more Filipino restaurants popping out in Chula Vista. Another place for Filipinos to pig out and enjoy! Highly recommended to everyone. Will come back to this place soon to try more of their food in the menu.“

“The fried rice and cashew chicken were amazing. This will be my go to for fried rice in the area. However, the mango chicken was terrible. Both of us thought it tasted almost exactly like honey mustard and made me sick to my stomach with the syrup/mayo taste. I like sweet but this was unreal.I'm not sure if they changed the recipe because it looked lighter in color than pictures others posted or maybe messed up the ratio that day.“

The owner did an exceptional job by making sure if we had any food allergies when taking our orders. “Linlee's is near and dear to my heart. I have been coming here since I was a little girl and I'm glad they survived through the pandemic. I was fortunate enough to bring my own son here to pick up some take out. We ordered the superstars which were veggie chow mein, salt and pepper wings, honey sesame shrimp, and cream cheese wontons. Each entree comes with a choice of white rice or plain fried rice. We were able to get both. The veggie chow mein comes with a plethora of vegetables including carrots, bean sprouts, bamboo chutes, broccoli, green bell peppers etc. The flavor is savory without holding grease. The noodles were nice and soft with a nice bite. The cream cheese wontons never have a chance of lasting for 5 minutes because they are so good. Again, they don't retain grease so the crunch of the wonton and the soft cream cheese is so satisfying. The chicken wings stay nice and crunchy on the way home. The sesame honey shrimp is delicious especially when paired with the veggie chow mein. And for dessert try out the almond cookies. Please take a chance and support this small business!“

I wish they had more veggie options for me but i enjoy their fried rice and chow mein with extra veggies...this is in the middle of little italy food court so the ambience is lively..the large tables are nice if u plan to eat with friends there...i have done carry out most times on a cold evening when i crave chinese food in the area. A bit on the expensive side.Vegetarian options: Fried rice and chow mein can be made vegetarian.“
“The food quality is 1000% better than Panda Express. Also the prices here are great. For $10 ($11 and some change because of taxes) you get 3 entres and a side (chow mein or rice or half and half) and a soda. You simply cannot beat it (especially in this part of town).“
“First off, I just want to say that the staff was very nice and that alone made me more hopeful for the food. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and the drunken noodles, and wow all of them were delicious. The chow mein was absolutely packed with flavor and if it's too much for you, you can mix it with rice and the flavors will spread all throughout the rice. The drunken noodles were perfectly cooked and once again the flavors were on point making you want more. Finally, the orange chicken was my favorite. The sauce was perfect and the vegetables were coated in the orange sauce making me finish my vegetables (crazy for me). Overall, I definitely need to come back to try the other dishes on the menu and it seems to be sooner than later.
