“Wow get the duck. We loved everything. Love the plate sharing concept. Order the yodel dessert even if you have no room. I'm still thinking about it. Service was great and very attentive. Our waiter recommended the Gruner vetliner that we loved.“

“Our party of five arrived before the dinner crowd. The restaurant is located at the base of the El Cortez landmark in downtown San Diego. It's a curbside location so you'll find street parking. We were greeted warmly by Andrea, the owner. Ambience is cozy, loved the blue seats and semi-industrial decor. We ordered antipasti (calamari, truffle fries and charcuterie board), flat breads, and pasta dishes. Their pasta wheel dish demo was well done by one of the servers and quite delicious. Their la piadina was more crusty than not and wouldve been better if it were less hard. Everyone enjoyed their meals overall. For dessert we ordered their tiramisu, cannoli and lemoncello cake. All three were a hit, especially the tiramisu. The server (also owner) was appropriately attentive throughout our whole meal and even provided a complimentary cake for our birthday girl. Overall, a great experience and would visit again if in downtown San Diego.“

“We were happy to spend happy hour with the staff this Friday. The Tapas were delicious and the beer ice cold. The owners asked us to join them for delicious desserts prepared by their excellent chefs. Altogether a great evening. We are glad they are open again.“

“Botanica is like that quiet classmate sitting in the peripheral of your class. You don't notice them much, but one day, you got to chat with them and realized that they are really interesting and you just can't believe that all this while they have been there. They have a huge selection of cocktails and they all sound so delicious. I love the artistic pictures of each cocktail in the menu (even though they don't help in explaining what the drinks are) and they also have a couple of rotating cocktails. They have some small bites to go with the cocktails and we tried the Harissa lamb tarts and they're delicious! Our bartender was friendly and attentive. She helped us decide on our drinks by explaining to us what flavors to expect from each drink and what might go well with the food. I appreciate her attentiveness! The decor inside is electric, especially the restroom lol. There are some plant-looking things as the name suggests but on the whole it doesn't make me think of a garden.“

“Definitely make a reservation. Totally hip place. Great service. Food is OK. Sadly, the swordfish was not tasty at all. In fact, it was very watery. Definitely not five star tries to be a little too Fancy and a little too much seasoning. And a whole lot of smoky of everything. Cocktails are incredible. Bartender was so good. Decor is just basic. But it’s a very busy place with a really nice little patio out front.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly based on menu and Quaintance of the restaurant maybe at lunchtime it is but not for dinner“

“Great ambience, small and quaint. Right on the edge of Hillcrest. The host met us immediately and was super friendly. No wait for a party of 3 on a Saturday afternoon. For starters we got some plum hot Sake which was amazing and Gyoza and Sweet corn. Both hit the spot. For entrees we had Spicy Tonkatsu, Pork Tonkatsu and Kimchee Tonkatsu. All were good with lots of flavor. I liked this place. Not sure if I'd make a special trip...but of your in the area this place is great!“

“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well! The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“

“I ordered it online and they were quick to complete my order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and kids chicken quesadilla. The food was great. In regards to the pizza, the crust was thin just like I like it. The sauce was flavorful, and there was enough pepperoni on it. That's for the quesadillas. There were three Chicken quesadillas. I asked for only Monterey Jack cheese on it because they put both of them according to what I read, and they followed the instructions completely. I appreciate that because my great niece does not like the orange cheese as she calls it lol.“

“Great place for artisan tapas and curated wine PLUS killer happy hour till 6 even on Saturday. Their mango lychee sangria is amazing! Their take on traditional tapas was also quite refreshing - like the date hummus and the spicy aioli papas. Jason our waiter was super nice as well.“

Unfortunately the bang bang corn was not in season during my most recent visit, but we’ll be back in no time. It would be best to call for a reservation, as they do get busy.Parking: Parking sports in front of restaurant and neighborhood parking.“

“Enjoyed the substantial cocktail menu and that their happy hour deals are every day of the week. My cocktails were well balanced and served in lovely drink ware. You can tell the bartender knows what they're doing. Very few people on a Sunday afternoon, but a great spot with various seating options (inside / outside, bar / big table / small table) making it a solid choice for most occasion. Didn't try the food this time.“
“Food was delicious, drinks perfect, and service outstanding! The DJ lacked knowledge of what that job entails. Zero interaction with patrons. It was just like having a very loud music station on. Unless they hire live musicians, it is a waste of funds to pay someone to just come and connect a laptop to the place's speakers.“

“After dining at Buona Forchetta, I can't imagine enjoying pizza and pasta anywhere else in San Diego. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel like you're family. They're sociable, upbeat, and ready to make your meal a memorable one. Our dinner began with two different wines. I'm a wine enthusiast, and I didn't snap any photos or recall their names, but rest assured, their wine recommendations are spot-on. The Regina Margherita pizza was a revelation. With its incredibly flavorful thin crust and the heavenly sauce, it was a pizza-lover's dream come true. The Spaghetti in Due Pomodori was, hands down, the best pasta dish I've tasted in California. With a simple yet tantalizing blend of organic tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it was sheer perfection. The nightly special, Pollo Milanese, was another hit. The chicken was tender, brimming with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And then came the desserts. We indulged in every option on the menu, and each one was a delight. We didn't leave a crumb behind. I highly encourage you to channel your inner foodie and savor each one, just like we did!“

“As you know, parking is always tricky in North Park but there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. The service was so quick. We got water and as we turned around our food was already delivered to our table. They have self serve water (plain and sparkling) outside. I love how spacious outdoor/bar seating is on the patio. The music was great. A great vibe overall. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and craving some bomb ramen!Food review:Underbelly ramen: (5/5) The noodles, meat, and broth were all perfection in this bowl of ramen! It was a good portion and the meat was SO tender and delicious!Tonkotsu ramen: (5/5) The noodles were cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful, the soft boiled egg is always my favorite part, and the broth is delicious, I could just drink bowls of it. It's not super heavy and has so much flavor.Beef gyoza: (4/5) These were tasty, but there was not as much filling/meat inside as we like.Short rib bao: (3.5/5) The meat was very tender, but the coleslaw and spicy mustard didn't mesh well together in my opinion. I ate the meat, pickle, and bun and it was delicious. It comes with 2 buns, so plenty to share!“
“My friends and I had an amazing night out at Side Bar on our San Diego trip in March. As soon as we stepped inside we were wowed by how beautiful this venue was. The cocktails were delicious, the staff was fun and friendly, and it smelled so good in there! The vibe was perfect and everyone was having a good time. My favorite part was when the bottle service girls rode out on a giant horse with champagne for one of the tables next to the DJ, I was not expecting that! This was definitely the highlight of our trip and we can't wait to go back!“

“The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on. I can't get over how well-trained and kind our waitress was. My other half asked for a dirty martini with blue cheese olives. The waitress advised us that there weren't any and that she would make them herself. The whole staff went above and beyond for out Anniversary. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.“

“This place is always lit! Now, I may be biased because of how long I have been going to this place (since it opened) and all the good times we've had there but I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the food, and the music. People out doing what people do, having a blast and Romescos providing a great spot for it. They also have an amazing breakfast. If you're out at the tapas bar with the music on Saturday, come back on Sunday and hit up the brunch. Always good food.“

“Came here for Sunday brunch. It wasn't too busy as we got here early. Customer service was great and our server was very attentive. Ordered the margarita flight with strawberry and mango as our options. And ordered the sopes to eat. The drinks were really good, I love their touch of the dehydrated fruit. Could have used a bit more alcohol but the flavor was great. My sopes were tasty with the right amount of seasoning, meat and garnishes. I liked the music and overall vibe of this place. It's a nice addition to the millennia shopping area.“

“This place has a great vibe and friendly staff. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, and they were good. Then I tried the birria tacos they missed the mark on flavor even with the consume I wanted to ask for salt to get a bit of the taste. The presentation was good. The drinks were delicious with a nice flavorful rim.“

“Great place with extensive wine options at reasonable price point, and amazing staff. Cute place with great food! Love the staff, everyone is attentive, friendly, and even when busy they are so accomodating. Food is great and they have specials from 4-5pm every day! Wine list is so long, and they offer a great deal if you want to try a flight. Sommelier is excellent at recommending things. Only one restroom, unisex/shared so don't wait till the last second! Parking in back, two spots in front and on street.“
