“Nicely clean restaurant, great restrooms (clean, tidy, well kept). Food was above standard grade fare for fast food which was probably because the staff was above the apathetic teen years. The main down side is the food and drink sizes which are dictated by the corporate machinery.“

“The Asada Street Tacos were decent. The salsa was okay, could’ve been better with more heat or atleast the option for more heat. The jalepeno was nice and spicy, but the radish seemed a little old.

The surprising bit of it all that made the meal was the marinated fried onions. They definitely made the tacos. The service was great and quick. Definitely would go back.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here and now I know why there’s always at least one customer in line when we drive by! Well, it would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t get terrible diarrhea after lol! ? I’m always eating spicy and ethnic food too, so it’s safe to say it’s probably this place. Still kinda worth it tho and I want to try it again.

We tried all these for around $20! (cash only btw):
* Carne asada, birria, al pastor tacos
* Al pastor burrito
* Pupusa

My partner didn’t like the way their Al pastor tastes, but luckily I did. Tacos are solid, my favorite was the carne asada! The burrito is hefty. The ingredients were all over the place tbh and it was tough to get through huge patches of only sour cream cheese LOL (not captured in my pics). And sadly a lot of space was taken up by tortilla folds too. But I liked it a lot.

The pupusa was unpleasant to me, but my partner ate it fine. Kinda tastes like a dry tamale. Very different from Cuban pupusas! Came with a little plastic wrap pouch of pickled pepper veggies and stuff.“

“Flour and corn tortillas freshly made. The staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the menudo, my wife had the machaca. Dinning area is spacious and very well lit. This was our first time here and NOT disappointed. Won't be our last.“

“The Carne Asada is delicious, juicy, flavor, cooked perfectly. I had the nachos, torta de Asada and Chile Colorado. The Asada here is by far the best I've had. Ample room to sit and enjoy a good meal, that is authentic and has that home cooked meal feel to it.“

I had the fruit ice cream with mango, strawberry and bananas as fruit options and cookies and cream and cookie dough as ice cream flavours, and my husband had a mangonada, which he said was comparable to our other favourite spot in Lodi! “On my way to my sister's hair salon for my hair appointment and got us breakfast for lunch. I got the cactus with egg breakfast plate with rice and beans and a flower tortilla and a chorizo with egg burrito 🌯 for my sister. Everything was so delicious. 👌 I can cook authentic mexican food, and it's hard for me to find mexican restaurants that I like.
This one I recommend. I especially like their flour tortillas. The rice was delicious.“

“My family and I were looking for a New Mexican spot and we definitely found it!!! The food was soooo good. We order one of everything on the menu and nothing was disappointing it ran us about $100 for 5 people to try pretty much everything they had. I will say they are alot more affordable with better food than spots in the area. You order your food at the front and the you find your own sitting. The only criticism I’ll give is I wish it was more lively inside, it’s beautiful inside no doubt but everyone is so quiet. Not a deal breaker at all I still plan to repeatedly come back! It’s a must try and a game changer for the area.“

I get the Chile relleno+Chile verde burrito most of the time, their chorizo is great too but sold out a lot of the times by 7am because they get a huge rush of workers every morning. “This place just opened up so it was a little slow. But that didn't matter because the service was impeccable. Our waitress offered us all the different hot sauces when we mentioned we liked them spicy. Instead of chips and salsa it was chips and ceviche which was really good. I got the carne asada tacos which were flavorful and my husband got a burrito. If you are looking for a Mexican stop this place is perfect. Food was amazing staff was friendly and they had music playing. Perfect way to end our week“

“Best tacos in Lodi. I'm officially a convert. I was a loyal La Picosita customer until finally branching out and trying Las Perlas.
The quality of the meat is better.
The prices are better.
The burrito is massive.
They have asada fries.
And best of all they accept credit/debit card. The convenience of not having to search out an ATM is so understated nowadays.“

“First time trying it I got the number 2 mix carnitas, buche , cueritos all was really flavorful and tender the rice and the beans could use a little more salt but they are very tasty. For Carnitas they have everything chicharron etc….
And the cashier was extremely friendly and welcoming“

We’ve never experienced any of what some of the reviews have mentioned: getting sick, rudeness, or whatever. It’s pretty consistent! And to the person who asked where they moved to, or where they park at from time to time, they are near Venture Academy on Arch rd.“
