“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“Every Carl's Jr. seems to have an individual policy regarding how it cools its zucchini. Always ask if the zucchini is cooked with the fries, or with the meat. They all seem to keep the fryer for fries separate, which means vegetarians can enjoy Carl's Jr. fries, but not always their fried zucchini. I always order their zucchini burger now that they've discontinued the Beyond burger. This particular restaurant was clean and fast. I only wish they unified the policy of zucchini cooking so I could eat at any franchise I visit.“

Fries were crispy, coke was perfect, and burger was just that average quality ya expect. Look, it's not high quality restaurant food but it's just fine when ya in a pinch. For a McDee's, it's good.“

I had the classic burger with jalapeños added & sweet potato fries. the burger was beyond flavorful & fresh. the sweet potato fries were crispy and well seasoned. I also love that there’s even a sweet potato fry option in the first place. The customer service was exceptional also, very friendly team. “I long heard tales that this had the best burger in LA. I decided finally to visit on my birthday. It was 45 minutes to Compton and worth it. NOTE: It's easy to miss the storefront, The trick is to drive into the large parking lot just south of the storefront. I love the menu here because you can add an egg, pastrami, extra Patty and then there's choices of hot relish and sweet relish. Get both. This is Mama's place and Mama is the best, incredibly friendly, generous and they serve great food. I haven't had chili cheese fries in 6 or 7 years and it was worth breaking that pledge to eat it here. It was so good. I think there's just a little hint of oregano in it that gives it a great flavor. That's unexpected. I ordered a double turkey burger with pastrami and everything on it but mustard and my companion got a double cheeseburger with everything on it. They were freaking outstanding and the price was right. It was so cool to see people who were regulars just coming and going. I'd eat here too because it's the cheapest burger that I've had in La that was decent, my companion noted that McDonald's is just a block away and the burgers. There are the same price but they're not the same quality at all. These are excellent burgers and My friend was like you have to wait like 5 or 10 minutes, but it's worth it because they're cooked right there and it's awesome. A mama let us eat in the table out back and gave us an extra fries and barbecue sauce on top of the chili cheese fries. She was so accommodating and so friendly and gave us a big hug before we left. “I saw this place while driving and saw a line waiting for their food, so I decided to give it a try.. Ì asked those in line, what was good there.. The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. The people who work here are great at what they do and really nice. It's really hard to find a good patty melt on rye, and this is one of the best ones in all of LA/Orange. Seasoned fries are so good I eat half of them without even a thought. Places like this are rarer by the year, and Dave's is a gem. Support them often and tip well!“

“My new favorite spot for breakfast date. Our go to order B.L.T.A sandwich and some spicy tenders. That combo is just (chef's kiss). Usually go in the morning, always clean, food is so good. They make it when you order it, by the time you bring it to your table it is still steaming. Love it. This location is 5 stars. We have tried El Segundo location but it doesn't compare at all. Torrance location is the OG.“

“We got the giant breakfast special. It was big and tasty. This is the most unassuming place and the service is excellent. Dont expect eggs beni with a mimosa. This is like your aunty is taking care of you and she don't have time for that crap. But you know she's gonna serve you up food with love and care. This is no fuss so you get paper placemats, but when I asked for creamer, I got the entire container and told to pour on my own. None of those little plastic containers with the paper top. Hashbrowns were crispy! Not burned. This is the type of place your dad is going to take you to when there's time before school and he wants to make sure you're getting enough before you have to study away. Go here. Feel like you're at home. Trust me.“
