“My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's . It is BY FAR our favorite location - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often share one of the weekday breakfast specials of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 french toasts for $8.99. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .“

“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

They all seem to keep the fryer for fries separate, which means vegetarians can enjoy Carl's Jr. fries, but not always their fried zucchini. I always order their zucchini burger now that they've discontinued the Beyond burger. This particular restaurant was clean and fast. I only wish they unified the policy of zucchini cooking so I could eat at any franchise I visit.“

The people who work here are great at what they do and really nice. It's really hard to find a good patty melt on rye, and this is one of the best ones in all of LA/Orange. Seasoned fries are so good I eat half of them without even a thought. Places like this are rarer by the year, and Dave's is a gem. Support them often and tip well!“

“I ate here for the first time last weekend and am back again for breakfast today. Was looking for a spot that was open after flying home around 9pm Sunday. Didn’t want anything super unhealthy and greasy so tried the grilled chicken wrap and my husband got the fried chicken wrap. We shared a side of fries and wow! Some of the best “fast food” fries we’ve ever had! The wraps were both great too. We appreciate that the sauces came in an appropriately sized container. The breakfast burrito this morning may be my favorite in the South Bay. Bacon was thick cut and all the ingredients were blended together. Both red and green salsas were fantastic 😉. Friendly service both times will definitely be a regular spot for us now!“

This is like your aunty is taking care of you and she don't have time for that crap. But you know she's gonna serve you up food with love and care. This is no fuss so you get paper placemats, but when I asked for creamer, I got the entire container and told to pour on my own. None of those little plastic containers with the paper top. Hashbrowns were crispy! Not burned. This is the type of place your dad is going to take you to when there's time before school and he wants to make sure you're getting enough before you have to study away. Go here. Feel like you're at home. Trust me.“
