“The San Pedro location, unfortunately, wasn’t accepting online orders, so I made the trek to the Long Beach location. Thankfully, this location was accepting online orders, sparing me a 6 a.m. pastry pilgrimage. I scheduled a 12:45 p.m. pickup but didn’t arrive until 1:45 p.m., so I won’t fault the pastries if they weren’t piping hot.

Colossus Bakery on 2nd Street sits near some of my favorite Long Beach spots, like Holey Grail Donuts and Win-Dow. I ordered three items: a cardamom bun, kouign amann, and pecan sticky bun, eaten in that order, which also reflects my ranking.

The cardamom bun was delicious: the spice came through without overpowering the pastry. It was denser and doughier than the light, airy pastries I usually favor, but still excellent. The kouign amann was similarly dense, though each bite had a satisfying audible crispness. The pecan sticky bun lived up to its sticky reputation with plenty of nuts, though it ended up my least favorite of the three (but still very good).

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my pastries. I imagine they’d be even better fresh or warmed, and I can’t wait to work through the rest of the menu. Colossus Bakery has officially joined my elite Los Angeles/Long Beach pastry rotation. Highly recommended!“

“This is the best bakery in town hands down no cap. While other bakeries overload their cookies with sugar and unesessary distractions, Foodology gets it right with an assortment of treats for everyone. I love the small cookie cubes as they're perfect for sharing or for the kids if you dont want to give them a huge portion.“

“Food here is outstanding! We picked our food to go for an impromptu picnic at the park and enjoyed eveything. The carbonara was a knock out, very rich and decadent. All the pastries were yum, but the morning bun was our favorite. And the sandwiches are so well constructed with bread that was obviously baked fresh.

Only thing ill say is the patio is not good for large parties so if you intend to dine in, the seating there it ideal for parties of 2 or 4.“

“I went in looking for a sweet treat and walked out with the tastiest oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. I canvased the staff asking which cookie was best and Eric assured me it’s the chocolate chip cookie. Gabby backed him up. I was skeptical. How could an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with such small chocolate chips have enough chocolate? WELL…. Turns out the mini chips are baked into the center creating a perfectly soft and chocolatey cookie. Shout out to Eric and Gabby for being honest and having fun. 10/10 recommend.“

“Was next door at the optometrist. Saw they had vegan options. Walked in nice place lots of vegan vegetarian options. There cupcakes, cookies, Bundt cake , donuts and ice cream. All gluten free. Decided to try the filled cupcake and Bundt cake. Had good texture and sweetness. Everything is labeled very well so you if it vegan or vegetarian or egg free.“

“A normal corner donut shop. I decided to try it out. Overall satisfied. Service was great. I ordered half a dozen donuts and got an extra for free ?? Giving it 5 stars because it is what you'd expect and the prices were decent~ Would come back for the donuts. Didn't mind my sausage, egg, and croissant sandwich. The blended mocha was yummy too. I do want to try one of their smoothies next time. Total cost for 1/2 dozen donuts, two blended mochas, and a #7 was about $21 if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, hella worth the price.“

Everything looked delicious but the one thing that stood out more to me was the pan con crema de queso y jalapeño. Straight out of the over, First bite put me in cloud nine. The bread is so lite and delicious. They pack it with cream cheese and jalapeños. It was so good that it made me forget about my bad day at work. “I always come here to get my Bolillo! The bread maker in the back always making the best warm bolillo I had. I'm sure is the best in Long Beach. The cashiers are super friendly. The conchitas are really good specially when they just came out the oven. I highly recommend this bakery if you like Mexican pan dulce. I'm much happier after they put they shop near by.“

“Tito's is really good. We decided to eat there based on the all the positive reviews and sure enough, it checks out! Excellent breakfast burrito is enough for two people. “Absolutely amazing spot. I found it while traveling for a car event and Literally everything we got was amazing. We tried a bit of everything and there was a smoothie I tried, I can't remember the name, but it was espresso, PB, honey and banana and the whole family loved it.

The staff was very friendly and they were super nice to my kids. They even tried to help us find something we needed.

The ambiance was nice and the restaurant was very pretty and the music was nice.

“I found this place back in 08 when I lived on Ocean/Cerritos, I love that they have EVERY SINGLE flavor creamer there is available! “I ordered the Huevos with green and red sauce. The green is very hot. It tastes great. Everything is excellent. The rice and beans have a different taste than Mexican and I like it a lot. Mmmm the fried plantains are so good and Salvadorian tortillas I enjoyed very much. I highly recommend the breakfast that I had.“
