The menu features a pre-fixe tasting menu, with each dish showcasing innovative and delicious flavors. Diners can expect to be surprised by the inventiveness of the cuisine, with even dishes they typically dislike becoming favorites. The Iberico pork and the ridiculously delightful dessert of blood orange froyo with candied kumquat granita are particular highlights.
The wine pairings are well-executed, and the staff's dedication to the dining experience, including the chefs introducing each dish, adds to the overall enjoyment. Heritage is a special place, perfect for a date night or a celebration, though it may not be the best choice for families with small children.
The restaurant has recently elevated and fine-tuned its service and execution of dishes, earning a Michelin star. With just four seats at the counter and six tables in the dining room, guests still get the warm home hospitality feel in an intimate setting. The tasting menu is now set at $160 per person, with 12 thoughtfully curated bites of umami, textures, and flavor profiles. The majority of the produce and herbs are grown in the Heritage Farm, just a mile away from the restaurant, and they follow a zero-waste philosophy, repurposing any excess ingredients into compost cycling back to the gardens.
