McDonald's, a well-known fast-food restaurant, has received mixed reviews from customers. While the order-ahead option was intended to make things easy and fast, it did not always deliver on that promise. Customers reported long wait times, with the drive-thru line wrapped around the entire parking lot and the inside line taking about 15 minutes to get their food. The restaurant's staffing also came under scrutiny, with a new trainee working the front counter and struggling to process orders correctly, resulting in mistakes. Customers also found the prices to be "absolutely ridiculous" and not worth the hassle. Despite these challenges, some employees seem to take pride in their work, with one reviewer mentioning they like working there. Overall, the experience at this McDonald's location appears to be inconsistent, with long wait times, staffing issues, and high prices overshadowing the food quality. Many customers appreciate the convenience of its location on two main streets, though they often experience delays. The staff is mostly teenagers from a nearby high school, which can contribute to busy times. One positive aspect is that the ice-cream machine is usually working, much appreciated since many other McDonald's locations often say it's broken. Customers also shared kind experiences, like a friendly staff member making a whipped cream treat for a customer's dog when asked about a "pup cup," showing that staff do take good care of visitors.
