We had 7 courses and everything was delicious. Reed, our bartender was very welcoming, made us feel like we were regulars.
What!! This is a gem in Midcity. I have lived here since before it opened and shame on me for only getting here now! We came two nights in a row and just love it. Will be on my regular rotation for sure! Thanks to the fab staff. Everyone is just so lovely!

n/soto offers an incredible dining experience with delicious Japanese food and a lovely atmosphere. Highlights include the scallop/uni course, beef tongue, skewers, lamb chop, chicken karaage, pork belly, and shiitake mushroom skewer. The miso baked bone marrow was a bit overpowered, but the overall quality is top-notch. The chef's selection sashimi, toro nigiri, and agedashi mochi are must-tries. With attentive service and a wide variety of dishes, n/soto is the perfect spot for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine in the area. It is a wonderful spot for a date night, featuring elevated food that is both delicious and a bit surprising. The restaurant is known for its collaborations, resulting in unique menus that often sell out. Additionally, guests can enjoy a great variety of options and artfully presented meals, making for a great experience from start to finish. The patio was a great space. The Fernetchan cocktail was delicious. The lamb skewer was incredible, the best lamb ever had. Pork collar and scallop skewers were also delicious. The wagyu skewer was not as fatty as expected. The chef's selection of nigiri was very good, sea urchin particularly delicious. Edamame was great, Snow Crab Monaka delicious. The bone marrow was the best ever had, the miso tasted incredible. Black cod tempura excellent, and agedashi mochi even better. The desserts were the most disappointing part of the meal. The olive oil cake was not cared for due to the olive flavor. Okinawa Yam Pudding and Mochi Profiteroles were pretty good, not amazing. The waiter and staff were excellent. The pacing of the hot dishes was a little too fast. The indoor dining atmosphere was not super comfortable, tables too close together, bad acoustics, and the lighting could be dimmer. It was pretty pricey. The bathroom sink water was scalding hot.
