“I usually order catering when I have a gathering of 10 or more people at home. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. They provide generous plates and forks for sharing. They are always helpful, and online ordering is convenient and punctual.“
“As a world-wide tour guide who’s eaten across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas, Panda Express holds a very unique and respected place in the global food conversation. It’s one of those brands that travelers instantly recognize—whether you’re in Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, Tokyo, or inside an airport halfway across the world. Panda Express has mastered the art of consistency, accessibility, and comfort food on a global scale.
From a tour guide’s point of view, Panda Express is often the safe, reliable stop for travelers who want something flavorful, filling, and fast without sacrificing quality. The menu balances bold flavors with approachability, making it perfect for families, tourists, students, business travelers, and anyone on the move. You know exactly what you’re getting—and that’s a big deal when you’re navigating a new city or country.
Let’s talk about the food. The Orange Chicken is iconic for a reason—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with that sweet-savory glaze that hits every time. It’s comfort food that transcends borders. The Beijing Beef brings heat and crunch, the Kung Pao Chicken delivers a nice kick with roasted peanuts, and the Broccoli Beef offers a lighter but still flavorful option. Pair those with Chow Mein, Fried Rice, or Steamed White Rice, and you’ve got a meal that satisfies no matter where you’re from.
What truly stands out from a global perspective is Panda Express’s efficiency and professionalism. The service is fast, the kitchens are clean, the staff is usually welcoming, and the food is served hot and fresh. For tourists on tight schedules or locals grabbing a quick bite, this level of consistency is impressive—especially for an international brand.
Another underrated aspect is how Panda Express acts as a gateway to Asian-inspired flavors for many people around the world. For some travelers, this may be their first introduction to dishes inspired by Chinese cuisine. Panda Express makes those flavors accessible, friendly, and enjoyable, which is exactly what great global food brands are supposed to do.
From mall food courts to standalone locations, Panda Express fits seamlessly into urban life worldwide. It’s not trying to be something it’s not—it proudly owns its identity as high-quality, fast-casual comfort food with global appeal.
If you’re traveling and want something familiar yet flavorful, or if you’re a local who appreciates dependable, well-seasoned meals, Panda Express continues to deliver. As someone who’s tasted food across continents, I can confidently say Panda Express has earned its place as a worldwide staple.
Highly recommended for travelers, families, and anyone looking for fast, satisfying food with global recognition.
As a foodie, Panda Express always hits the spot when I’m craving bold, comforting flavors done fast. The Orange Chicken is perfectly crispy with that sweet-savory glaze, the Chow Mein is rich and satisfying, and everything comes out hot and fresh. It’s reliable, flavorful comfort food that delivers every time—simple, satisfying, and consistently good.
As a foodie, Panda Express is a solid go-to when you want bold flavors without the long wait. The Orange Chicken is always crispy and packed with that sweet-savory sauce, and the Chow Mein and Fried Rice are flavorful and filling. Portions are generous, the food comes out hot, and the service is fast and efficient. It’s consistent comfort food that satisfies cravings every time, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or feeding a group.“
“I’ll never understand why people go to those greasy Chinese places when PE offers way better selections, way more delicious for literally the SAME price point for a rice bowl, or a 2 or 3 entree combo plate. The food is just so much better, it’s nice and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Shout out to Karina & Xochitl!
For real tho“
“Now I was surprised by the change and improvement that the place has had, the service, attention and food have improved undeniably. A year or two ago I had a very bad experience and today it seems to be another Place, I hope you continue like this“
“My family and I come here at least once a week, and I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review until today. I received a promotion in my email and it wound up not working registering in their system. This has happened a few times so I brought this to their attention so they could hopefully fix it in the future. Andy was incredibly helpful in getting this resolved. I never thought I would be writing a review for a Panda Express, but Andy went above and beyond to help us. Thank you again!“
“Whether I'm craving tangy orange chicken, savory Beijing beef, or fresh vegetable stir-fry, Panda Express always hits the spot. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from, and I love being able to mix and match my favorites.“
“The man who invented the piano did so lovingly knowing that the best piano players were yet to be born. Whoever invented this restaurant chain has invented quite the piano. The team at this restaurant is what I call an analytics team. Not only do they know what direction this brand needs to go in they will also be able to harness AI since their analytics are superior to what any bot can pick up. I could see it in the teams' eyes. IP must be protected each analyst team member needs a password protected portal to submit novel proprietary suggestions to company r&d dept. A carbon copy; legal proof; of every portal submission must be sent to submitting author's email at moment of submission and copy sent simultaneously to USPTO as well. What needs to be hammered out is definition of novel bec a corporation is a ship at sea. Riders on the Storm“
“I had a great experience at Panda Express. This location is convenient and easy to access, making it perfect for a quick lunch, dinner, or takeout.
The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The ordering process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy hours. Their professionalism made the experience stress-free and enjoyable.
The food was delicious! The signature entrees like Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef were flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I also appreciated the variety of sides and options available, which makes it easy to customize your meal. Portions are generous and satisfying.
Overall, Panda Express is a reliable spot for tasty, quick Chinese-American cuisine. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, you can expect quality food, friendly service, and a pleasant experience. I will definitely be returning!“
“The experience was very good !
Amanda treated us amazing ! As well as her companions, they are extremely attentive and the food is delicious, the attention in both Spanish and English was excellent, the guys keep the place clean and tidy.
Of course we would come back.“
“Hi everyone, I highly recommend this place..this is the best Panda Express I’ve been to, I find myself buying 2 combo plates because the food quality. The food was so good, the chief must have experience in other restaurants..I usually go to the panda in Hollywood, but place was ghetto and food was cold but this place is my favorite place while I am in Sawtelle street.“
“Joycelyn or not sure if that was her name but it was on receipt, had an amazing attitude young slim light skinned girl she speaks Spanish and was serving the food when you come in, anyway the meats where on point, the chow mein was decent but the rice honestly had no flavor and I did not ask for soy sauce so I had to eat it like that, the chicken egg roll had perfect crunch and flavor. Please add more flavor to the rice guys. Other then that had a great plate“
“I never thought I’d write a review for panda because well… it’s panda. Although I’ve been to a few different ones, the quality of the food at this location was better than the others and the staff actually were kind and kept the place clean. It’s not often I crave panda but I’d come back to this specific one.“
“Snuck out the airport and my family decided we all wanted panda express and luckly this panda express closes at 2:30am. They were so awesome and on top of everything !! Thank you so much LA panda express. Blessings from a Colorado native. ♡♡“
“Had Fried Shrimp and mixed vegetables that was really good! My friend had beef and broccoli and loved it! Always a long line here! A local favorite in the food court. Buffet style. So grab a tray and take your pick of the Chinese treats! Reasonably priced!“
“This restaurant is really good. I love the food here and it's very clean. It's quick service. Definitely would recommend if you like Chinese food, Orange chicken is really good. Beijing beef is really good and I've had other dishes. They were all very well put together, and tasted very good, but those two specifically I love.“
“I had one of the most memorable moments in my entire Panda Express experience. Perla, one of the staff exemplifies her outstanding customer service by being attentive, helpful and giving a quick service. I will definitely come back to this restaurant and recommend to friends and family“
“Try not to eat there too often but the food is always so good there and it's easy and quick in and out. They always have a good selection of food and I've always found it to be fresh because of the high turnover, they are always preparing more.“
“Food is very good, but geez the broccoli is HUGE! And there are no knives, so how is one supposed to eat it? I like that their broccoli is fresh / bit crunchy, but it's much too hard to try to bite off a piece with your front teeth. And the broccoli is insanely too large to even manage to bite off a piece with the side of your mouth.
PLEASE CUT THE BROCCOLI lol!“
“Good spot for a quick Chinese fix. The food is always hot and freshly prepared. The staff will move you down the line relatively quickly. I think comparatively, this location is better than other Panda Express locations in LA. The space is clean and modern looking. Plenty of free parking in the adjacent parking lot.“
“Not the greatest muddy authentic Chinese food place but it's OK for a fast good joint. Check out their family deal, it's definitely their best buy.
I would really like it if they added a soup to their menu like a Wor Wonton!!“
“It was my first time here in a long time Ethel and Ivette made sure to take care of me and we're so quick to give you my food I feel really comfortable with also the cleanliness of the place and the customer service.I can now see why this location makes a lot of money!“
“The Baseline: For a Chinese restaurant the food must be fresh, classic dishes need to be executed with skill, accompaniment sides must match with the style, and the plating must be of good presentation.
Food: The food at Panda is good to eat for quick meals. Pre-prepped food that just needs to be dished onto your box. I stick with string beans chicken, teriyaki chicken, and steamed vegetables to give my carb craving a break. Solid meal but I know I am eating a bit excess salt when I come to a Panda Express.
Service: Fast and efficient and the staff was friendly.
Ambiance: The Charger Commons is a nice shopping venue for restaurant chains. The inside and outside dining is nice at this location. Clean restaurant and restrooms.“
“Panda Express is one of the easiest places to grab quick Chinese-American comfort food. The ordering system is simple—pick your base like fried rice or chow mein, then choose a couple of entrees.
I went with the classic Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef with fried rice. The Orange Chicken was crispy, sweet, and a little tangy, exactly what you expect from Panda Express. The portions were generous and the food came out hot and fresh.
The place is casual and efficient, perfect for a quick lunch or takeout. It’s not authentic Chinese cuisine, but it’s tasty, consistent, and satisfying when you want something fast and flavorful.“
