I love their chicken sandwiches !!
UCLA finally gets a decent vegetarian restaurant but the people are so incompetent it's not worth the trouble to eat there. They are very slow, even when there is no line, so expect your order to take 15-20 minutes. And when they inevitably make your order wrong you want another 15-20 minutes for them to remake it. And you better hope that they got it right the second time because a third time blows your entire lunch hour. Yes they will apologize and give you a free meal coupon...read full review

Veggie Grill is located on the upper floor of Ackerman in the heart of UCLA's campus. It is an absolutely amazing experience, offering a perfect, nutritious & fast lunch option right in the middle of campus. The plant-based burger is incredibly delicious, super flavorful, juicy, and fresh ingredients. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich was so yummy, crispy and flavorful. The burgers themselves and the chicken and beef are sooooo good, and the truffle mac and cheese is a big fan favorite. However, the tempeh bacon on the burger and the fries were not liked by one reviewer, and the carrot cake was dry. The quality of the food and staff is too good to be true. The staff is awesome, friendly, and provide outstanding customer service. The manager is a most compassionate and attentive human being. Suzy and Marie provided excellent service, and Christian and Saul always have a smile on their face. A pro-tip is that they offer a student discount (15% off) if you show them a school ID. If driving, finding parking can be a hassle, so it is not recommended for those not already on campus.
