“First time visiting last night. Was impressed by how many tvs they had. Beer was cold, only bottled beer but at a good price. Unfortunately they only sell bottled water. You can't get a free cup of water. There was a couple that was very friendly to me. Bartender Yesenia was nice and very pretty.“

I have obsessively been coming to The Wolves whenever I’m in LA, and it never disappoints. The Agua Buena is hands-down the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life.

Their other cocktails are just as impressive… my friends always order different ones, and every drink has such unique, inventive flavor profiles that just work. The small bites are delicious too.

“Super cute spot with tasty food and a karaoke bar upstairs. The inside is a lot nicer which surprised me cause of the neighborhood but definitely enjoyed it. The mentaiko pasta was delicious along with the salmon crispy rice. The curry crispy rice was very spicy.“

Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. “Me & my friend were invited out last Tuesday for a Book-signing event. The ambiance was great. The food was delicious and the Owner Betty along with her staff was very nice. I had a wonderful time there not to mention the music ?. I plan on returning very soon. ??“

“Drinks are good and vibes are good. Gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays but still is a good bar for the area. Tee is a great bartender, very friendly and she makes good drinks and nice to talk to. The one thing I don’t like about this bar is that despite its cool heavy metal, goth Game of Thrones-esque design, there is not enough heavy metal playing. Still, pretty cool bar but please play more metal or at least classic Rock.“

The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

“Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing“
