“First time visiting last night. Was impressed by how many tvs they had. Beer was cold, only bottled beer but at a good price. Unfortunately they only sell bottled water. You can't get a free cup of water. There was a couple that was very friendly to me. Bartender Yesenia was nice and very pretty.“

“From the outside, The Airliner looks like a dive bar serving standard dive bar fare. But make no mistake, Chef Vinh Nguyen has created a stunning menu of excellent, creative, and absolutely delicious food!

We had a tasting for my daughter's wedding, and we were served such terrific items as Green Chop Salad (spicy thair dressing), Hunan BBQ pork ribs, Green Curry Crispy Rice, onion noodles, and tater tots with Gochujang glaze.

I forgot to take pictures, but everything looked as great as it tasted.

The next time we are in LA, we look forward to going there for dinner, and we couldn't be happier that Chef Nguyen will be catering our daughter's wedding!“

Absolutely beautiful interior always playing old movies and current sports. Insanely underused and gigantic patio outside with a roaring firepit and plenty of tables. I really hope more people start hanging out here! It's pretty silent on weekdays and I've never seen it packed.“

“Crazy space. The Slipper Clutch doesn't have any outdoor signage, the bar exists behind another space that you walk through to get to it. You can sort of see the interior sign from the street if you look. The guy bouncing the place next door seemed really used to answering the question of Where is the slipper clutch!
Inside there are like three or four bar areas with totally different vibes. The first area is more high class, fancy night bar. Through the door is another bar that's more punk rock, has arcade games and pool tables. It's kinda small but decent. They have a back patio too. The patio door was open all night so the place smelled of smoke from the outdoor smokers. If you keep going and go upstairs, you'll find the venue area with yet another bar. The music up there stays loud as heck so it kind of always sounds like a band is playing even when it's just the interstitial music. For the show I went to, bands didn't start playing until almost an hour and a half after the listed time, so definitely don't come early if you're just coming to rock. Tickets were cash only at the door, but it was only $7 - prices we ain't seen in decades! The music space itself is pretty decent, the stage is kinda small but it gets the job done. The room is pretty spacious and there was plenty of room for a bunch of people but also room to get away from the wild ones if you needed. There's also a very tiny upstairs patio (more like a ledge) but good to get some air. Pretty decent overall experience. I don't think they had food there but I didn't really look. Didn't see anybody eating anything tho! There are only two tables, outside on the patio. Otherwise it's bar or standing. Definitely not wheelchair accessible.“

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. The service isn’t 5 star but it’s good as it ever was and I’m fine with it. Unfortunately Ihad a very lousy customer service incident on the phone tonight after they botched my delivery order. I ordered grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. Postmates delivered matzoball soup and rings. Johnny’s customer service lady (didn’t offer name) and the manager refused all responsibility for the wrong item they mispacked; she told me to take it up with Postmates. OK, but meanwhile can I get my sandwich that Johnny’s failed on? “Take it up with Postmates.” When I questioned that logic from a customer service perspective she said “you’re failing to understand!” and told me “don’t get an attitude with me!” I replied “an attitude with YOU?” and she hung up on me. Come on, Johnny’s, this whole thing started with your mistake. Accept responsibility and make it right. Don’t blame delivery. Just make it right.“

“If I could give more than 5 stars for customer service I would. The skillet Carlos delivered wasn't just customer it was high class hospitality to where we were the host stepping into his home. He was phenomenal from the first interaction. As a disabled person you know I have plenty of things I look for. Ease of parking ✔️ accessibility especially for a variety of mobility aides ✔️ comfort in using the restroom companion or alone ✔️ . This place not only ada compliant offered comfort for all disabilities. The beers on tap easily accessible even those of us in mobility aide mode.

Food was absolutely delicious 😋 I opted for lemon chicken. My friend cajun pasta. Mother the chicken wings. Although slow too cook ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Our cocktails my margaritta needs some work being a former bartender/manager but presentation and deliveryb10/10 beers on draft 100/10 something for everybody and martinis 10/1].

My overall experience 9/10 but they are new so 10/10 for effort . Perfect spot for girls night or brunch, couples friends pet familes and adults of all ages to experience. As a person with disabilities one of the few truly ada friendly/compliant for all mobility aides and needs.“
