“Dine here for sure! Visit this place if you have a chance. We had been waiting for a good Italian restaurant to drop in Manteca since Strings left. Bella Mangiata did not disappoint. They took a small lot on Yosemite Ave and turned it into a beautiful, authentic, picturesque Italian experience. We started off with fresh warm bread with he traditional olive oil, balsamic and garlic dip and the calamari appetizer (which was perfectly presented). The cocktails from the bar prices may scare you, but the preparation of the drinks were on point and worth every penny. I had the limoncello martini and the lavendar bellini, both were superb! The chef's prepared the food with fresh ingredients (best tomatoes I have ever had, and I don't really like tomatoes) and the perfect blend of Italian seasonings. Their menu goes beyond the commercial Italian restaurants meals. Presented in Italian with English descriptions, you will get more than just the basic flavors found in the commercial establishments. The specials always sound amazing and it's difficult to choose because it's all so delicious. The presentation of the food was beautiful, I'm sad I didn't take pictures. The two times I visited, there was no wait and pretty quiet for a Friday and a Sunday evening. Only one thing I can say I wish for was staff with a little more Italian charisma, they seemed new at restaurant service and although good service, it took away the appeal of the total Italian ambience that the owner must have put a lot of work into. Also, the backgound music playlist needs to be a little longer as well, because we heard the same playlist 3 times while we were there.“

“Visited one time on a whim & it’s become a monthly must have! The pizza is so delicious & the owner is amazing! We live out of town & this is the only pizza place we eat at. Prices are incredible too. They have a Big Boss pizza that’s so big it almost didnt fit in my SUV’s trunk! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!!!“

“The best location for Eddie's is El Dorado. They get the crust right each time! I favor NY style pizza & they get as close to this with a good outer crisp edges on the crust. They have the best combination pizza for their ingredients, delicious ranch and recently noticed scripture verse on their boxes! :) Praise God, through Whom all blessings flow!“
