“This restaurant is new to me, but after just a couple of visits, I can already declare that they serve some of the best Thai food in the Bay Area. Using ingredients of the highest quality, the meals are creatively presented in an equally creatively decorated atmosphere.

It was a little quiet on my two visits, but I will assume that's because word hasn't got out yet.

“This is my favorite Thai food in the area, all dishes I’ve tried have been good. The pad Thai, pad see ew and panang curry and Sticky rice are delicious. And the green curry might just be the best I’ve ever had. The owners are super nice as well. I look forward to trying more of their dishes!“

“Pleasant atmosphere that gives a modern yet peaceful. Service was exceptional, was down to earth and well paced with good suggestions. Food was GREAT, had the Pad Thai with chicken and an order of pot stickers and the lemonade. Everything paired so well together and the plating was great. The pictures do not do the pot stickers justice.

“This is a fabulous Thai Restaurant. You are greeted with a warm smile and then served really delicious food. I had curry puff balls followed by spicy prawns and bacon. Who doesn’t love prawns and bacon. The flavors were fabulous and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. I will be back for more for sure. Thank you. Five stars from me.“

“It's been years since we've been into this place. Covid hit and a few other things impacted and I was having a serious craving today. Went in... love the fact that they are willing to if they can customize food. I happen to like something that is normally very spicy and hurts my stomach. They dialed it down for me and it was absolutely delicious. Then I picked up my husband's favorite and we'll be having it for dinner tonight as well. The people are just wonderful, very friendly, and it's a quiet environment where you can actually think and talk“

“Went here on a vegetarian day and I got the drunken noodles which tasted absolutely delicious, and the tofu was so nice and soft. I loved the cucumber salad on side and the thai iced tea was pretty good too - just a little on the sweeter end. Service was great and the restaurant was decorated nicely.

“We literally found Elephant Thai Cuisine by accident while picking up something nearby, and what a hidden gem in Vallejo! We have been searching for authentic Thai food for a long time. We have tried others near and far, but nothing compares to this.While the food is incredible, the experience is what sets them apart. The owner, Mr. Pooh, and his staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive while remaining highly efficient. They make the experience magnificent.The restaurant is beautifully decorated with elegant, room-sized photos of actual Thailand marketplaces, accompanied by gentle, soothing music.Now for the food: indescribable! Every single dish is consistent. The Massaman curry tastes incredible on Wednesday and exactly the same on Sunday. The fresh juices and the fried wontons (my favorite!) are always fresh, crispy, and delicious. We dine here often and highly recommend it! Great food, great people—the perfect blend.“

“Taste of Lao Thai was one of those wonderful restaurant discoveries that completely exceeds expectations.
The service was exceptional—warm, caring, patient, and genuinely personal. They took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions, and help us choose dishes without ever making us feel rushed. You could really feel the hospitality and pride they have in taking care of their guests.
And then came the food… absolutely spectacular!
From the appetizers to the main dishes and all the way through dessert, everything was above and beyond. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, rich, and beautifully balanced. Every dish seemed to come alive with flavor, and you could tell that a great deal of care went into the preparation.
We came in for lunch and left feeling like we had discovered something truly special. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with such sincere and personalized service, it becomes a memorable dining experience.

“While staying across the road at the Mariott, I decided to walk around the shopping center and stumbled upon Tha Siam. I pulled up their website while standing outside, and looked at the "Chef's Suggestions" list. I thought the Grilled Short Rib with Garlic Noodle dish sounded good, so I went for it. Everyone inside was extremely friendly to me and polite while I placed my order and waited for a short while. I like my food spicy, but I forgot to say anything about wanting extra heat while ordering. The gentleman at the register said he could include hot sauces for me, and I thanked him. I got my food to go as I planned to walk back to the hotel to eat, but when I opened it 5 minutes later in my room I was not disappointed. The meal was beautifully put together, and it was delicious. I squeezed the orange over the marinated beef, and I added the extra hot sauces: fantastic! I highly recommend trying Tha Siam if you are in the area.“
