“This restaurant is out of the fray of crazy Berkeley traffic, in a quaint brick building off the beaten track. Parking was easy and we walked into a warm atmosphere with high ceilings, long tables with comfortable chairs and professional service. “My family loves Bangkok Thai. The yellow pumpkin curry is delicious, as are the salads, pad Thai, pad see-ew, fried rice, spring rolls, and fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert. “We've only done takeouts from this spot. They have some tables for dine in but it seems most people get takeouts or delivery from here.

The Khao Man Gai (Thai style) favor is good and their soup is one of the best chicken soup I've had. However, they reduced the amount of the chicken recently (compared to when they just opened), and the thickness of the meat is also much thinner(1/4 or 1/3 of an inch at almost at the thickest part). I don't like restaurants that do this and would prefer they increase the price. Otherwise you get the food and realize it's not as filling as it used to be.

Considering it's just rice, sauce and cucumber as the other ingredients, I think the price they charge warrants more chicken meat.

5 stars for the flavor but minus 1 star for the portion size.“

“My son and I were the first customers of the day and we were greeted so pleasantly as well as asked immediately if we’d like to see all the specials I love this place and frequent it often It never disappoints , the food was delicious and served promptly...I recommend it to anyone“

“I’m literally writing this review while eating the Pad Woon Sen because I just can’t resist giving this place the praise it deserves. Every time I come here, I order something new, and somehow every dish manages to surprise me—Basil Crispy Chicken, Lord of Noodles, Mama Pad Kee Mao, Mango Crispy Chicken… every single one has been amazing.

“While staying across the road at the Mariott, I decided to walk around the shopping center and stumbled upon Tha Siam. I pulled up their website while standing outside, and looked at the "Chef's Suggestions" list. I thought the Grilled Short Rib with Garlic Noodle dish sounded good, so I went for it. Everyone inside was extremely friendly to me and polite while I placed my order and waited for a short while. I like my food spicy, but I forgot to say anything about wanting extra heat while ordering. The gentleman at the register said he could include hot sauces for me, and I thanked him. I got my food to go as I planned to walk back to the hotel to eat, but when I opened it 5 minutes later in my room I was not disappointed. The meal was beautifully put together, and it was delicious. I squeezed the orange over the marinated beef, and I added the extra hot sauces: fantastic! I highly recommend trying Tha Siam if you are in the area.“

“we made a reservation ahead of time and ordered the prix fixe brunch, and they customized the menu to accommodate our dietary restrictions (pescatarian). the food was delicious, the atmosphere was so sweet, and the staff was incredibly thoughtful. 100% would go back! “Came in here for a late night meal. I wasn’t expecting the inside to look so fancy haha. Great atmosphere and the waiter was really friendly despite the hour. The clear noodle soup was easy on the stomach yet extremely flavorful — lots of white pepper and other seasonings so I didn’t need to use any additional sauces. Tons of noodles and delicious chicken as well. It was exactly what I needed after a long day :)“

“old skool cool. i've had many a meal here. it's probably responsible for how much i weigh after college.......actually i went here even more after graduating. everything is good. in particular pepper garlic chicken and basil eggplant chicken are two tasty standouts. good pad thai and pad see ew too. thankfully i work a little farther away from campus now, so i can't go here too often....but maybe i'll go again...“
