“I had such an amazing dining experience here! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and you can really tell that the restaurant puts a lot of care into both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation.

The Strawberry Salad was an unexpected highlight. It was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The sweet and refreshing dish that was flavorful.

The Crab Fat Fried Rice was one of the highlights of the meal. It was fragrant, rich, and packed with umami flavor. They served with seafood sauce on the side that make the dish more anthentic flavor.

The homemade Shumai was juicy, tender, and tasted freshly made. Every bite was packed with flavor and had a delicate texture. The sauce is exactly Thai flavor taste.

One dish that completely exceeded my expectations was the Fried Tofu. It was unbelievably crispy on the outside while remaining soft and silky on the inside. It’s easily one of the crispiest fried tofu dishes I’ve ever had.

The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and exceptional food, this restaurant truly delivered an unforgettable dining experience.

“We just had dinner at Bangkok By The Bay and highly recommend it. The food was super tasty: we got Pad Makuer with tofu, brown rice, and a special that I think was called Choo Chee Salmon. The vegetables were all really tasty and nicely cooked, and the tofu and salmon were really good. The service is great, they were attentive and helpful--even brought a bed for our dog, and some water for her too. The outdoor seating is quiet and pleasant, not right on the street, with the additional nice element of the sound of the fountain nearby.“

“My family loves Bangkok Thai. The yellow pumpkin curry is delicious, as are the salads, pad Thai, pad see-ew, fried rice, spring rolls, and fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert. “Honestly I love the food, the interior, and the menu - the food is delicious, creative, a little upscale feeling and clearly a lot of attention and care is put into it from ingredients to preparation. I love the variety and seasonality, and it’s one of the few places where you can get those delicious little coconut griddle cakes, and things are easy to share and portions are nice. AND your thai coffee/tea is made with CONDENSED SWEETENED OAT MILK!!!! WHAT?! (I cannot do dairy so this is the best news ever)

Interior is super charming and the seating is very comfy and bathroom is clean, cute, service is always friendly and the staff presents well. My huge gripe - believe it or not - is the service is inconsistent. One time I went there when there was barely anyone in the restaurant, and only one person was working and, it took an eternity to get served. And then I went today, the restaurant was full, and there were two or three servers working, and literally we were getting interrupted every five minutes, asking if we’re doing OK, people coming to the table to pour water, telling us the kitchen is about to close, asking again if everything’s OK, too many concerns, etc., like too attentive to the point of not being able to have a conversation - insanely annoying. Also, the restaurant is quite small inside, and yet they blast music SO loud loudly that everyone is shouting to have a conversation, and because the space is small, you can hear your neighbors TOO WELL if they raise their voice even a little bit. REALLY ANNOYING when you’re trying to enjoy a cute lunch.“

“This place has become one of my go-to lunch spots since I work right across the street🥰I order from here all the time during work, and the food is always consistent. The Hainan chicken is super tender and flavorful, never dry, and the rice is really fragrant too. I also love the sauces that come with it. Portions are good, the staff is always friendly, and the food comes out pretty fast, which is perfect when I’m busy at work. I’ve already ordered so many times and will definitely keep coming back. “We had such a wonderful experience with Thai Rice Spoon Catering! They had great communication throughout the entire process, were flexible with our options, and gave us helpful recommendations on what to order, which made planning so easy.

They arrived a few minutes early, and the food was warm, fresh, and delicious. Our guests absolutely loved it, and many went back for seconds!

“Of Berkeley's many fine Thai restaurants, Chai Thai Noodles stands out. First of all, it adds Lao dishes to its huge menu. Second, it offers brown rice as one of three rice choices.

The papaya salad is heavenly. Also extraordinary were the red curry and the eggplant stir fry. With everything, there's a choice of spiciness. At the upper are spicy and Thai spicy.

We first found out about this restaurant after an incredible lunch at Chai Thai Noodles' hot food concession inside Berkeley Bowl West. The fried tofu in red curry sauce, with a side of brown rice, was one of the best meals I'd ever had ad Berkely Bowl.“

“While staying across the road at the Mariott, I decided to walk around the shopping center and stumbled upon Tha Siam. I pulled up their website while standing outside, and looked at the "Chef's Suggestions" list. I thought the Grilled Short Rib with Garlic Noodle dish sounded good, so I went for it. Everyone inside was extremely friendly to me and polite while I placed my order and waited for a short while. I like my food spicy, but I forgot to say anything about wanting extra heat while ordering. The gentleman at the register said he could include hot sauces for me, and I thanked him. I got my food to go as I planned to walk back to the hotel to eat, but when I opened it 5 minutes later in my room I was not disappointed. The meal was beautifully put together, and it was delicious. I squeezed the orange over the marinated beef, and I added the extra hot sauces: fantastic! I highly recommend trying Tha Siam if you are in the area.“

“Came in here for a late night meal. I wasn’t expecting the inside to look so fancy haha. Great atmosphere and the waiter was really friendly despite the hour. The clear noodle soup was easy on the stomach yet extremely flavorful — lots of white pepper and other seasonings so I didn’t need to use any additional sauces. Tons of noodles and delicious chicken as well. It was exactly what I needed after a long day :)“

“old skool cool. i've had many a meal here. it's probably responsible for how much i weigh after college.......actually i went here even more after graduating. everything is good. in particular pepper garlic chicken and basil eggplant chicken are two tasty standouts. good pad thai and pad see ew too. thankfully i work a little farther away from campus now, so i can't go here too often....but maybe i'll go again...“
