“The best Thai food made by the best people! We drive from Monterey to have authentic Thai food made by the wonderful family at Kitti’s Place, who are as warm as their food.
We always start with spring rolls (the sauce is the best we’ve ever had) followed by the most flavorful curried turkey burger with crisp french fries, then a bowl of Khao Soi- a rich curry with chicken thighs, bok choy, and egg noodles.
The Thai iced tea is a treat as well, and if there is any room left, then the sweet sticky rice with mango sends us into a blissful food coma. Give this place the love it deserves“

Service was very slow for our order which seemed pretty straightforward: a soup and padthai. Other guests were served more quickly; people at the next table ordered just before we did, got their food, ate and left beforewe got our food?!? On another note, we were not able to dine on the terrasse since it was a bit chilly and there is only one heater that is broken. Buying more heaters should be made a priority. This said, the food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We all loved it. So highly recommend for the food and maybe ordering as take out, only!“

“The best Thai food I’ve had to in SF so far. I love that they offer a decent Thai Boat Noodles and their special papaya salad is second to none (Tum Taad). I couldn’t help myself from over ordering the dishes from their menu since I’ve been craving Thai food. For our table of four, I spent around $50 per person, but each of their menu items are very reasonably priced and $20-$30 would be enough to get one feeling full. I highly recommend it and I’ll totally go there again soon.“

I got the Original Chicken Rice bowl with side of broccali. My friend got the salad with Tofu. Both great. He sauces are fresh and flavorful. One is quite hot which I love. I recommend it. And as we sat there from 1:30 pm to 2:30, there were multiple to go orders being picked up. I think there were about 5 orders at a time rotating. Fresh Fast Full of Flavor. We hit the jackpot!“

“I had an incredible lunch yesterday at Lers Ros, and I chose the right day to come as they were celebrating their 18 year anniversary! On their specials menu, I immediately noticed the Green Curry Duck Confit which was highly recommended, in short it was one of the best things I have ever tried and such a unique combination.

“We were attending a Degas exhibit at the Legion of Honor Museum when we stumbled across this little gem. It was 5 pm on Friday, and the restaurant did not open for another half hour. We decided to wait, and enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood for a bit. There is a nice park across the street where we were able to watch dogs running and children playing. The street parking was not as difficult as expected. Upon our return, we were seated promptly and the service was very warm and friendly. We told our server that we were vegetarian, and that was not a problem at all for them to accommodate us. Our decisions for dinner, as it was a tough one to decide, were: - Burmese - Pagan Vegetable Curry ($8.25) House special curry made with tomatoes, squash, eggplant, and lentils. - Thai - Vegetarian Tom Yum Soup ($9.95) & - Thai - Tofu Vegetable Combination ($10.95) Sauteed tofu and mixed vegetables with garlic sauce. - Jasmine rice for 2. The food was brought out in a very timely manner, and was delicious! The flavors blended perfectly, and the veggies were fresh and expertly prepared. The dishes were a nice mix of savory, spicy, and sweet, and the presentation was well done. “Zabb is a local Thai restaurant in the Excelsior district. It is ran by the sweetest women. My order was a tom ka gai (chicken coconut) soup $15. Complex flavors and it was delicious. You can order it with different levels of spiciness. Good job Zabb Thai. My soup was ready in about five minute.“
