“Beautifully presented and delicious food with a menu that changes seasonally. Service was great. We shared 2 appetizers (the shrimp and the olives dishes were terrific)and the very large quail salad. and noticed that these all came with 3 items (3 shrimp, 3 quail and 3 olives with rice crackers). The eggplant stir fry was awesome. Also enjoyed the beef cheek curry and purple rice. Nice selection of beer and wine. And the smoked coconut vanilla ice cream is a standout. Will return when the menu changes after the summer.“

“Food is great, there are some unique dishes here, especially the steam eggs in Tom Yum sauce. Fried rice w beef is also very good, and the sour soup with chicken. The vibe is great, a bit hard to get in still, but you can put your name in the Yelp waitlist. Very happy for this addition in West Portal. The kaya toast dessert is so good, but def for sharing!“

“The food here is fantastic, and the service is solid.
The Pad Thai had a bit more of a tomato flavor than expected, but it was still enjoyable. The Khao Soi with fried chicken was a standout—the broth was creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced. The chicken was well-marinated and crispy, making for a great texture contrast.
We’ll definitely be returning! :)“

“Still our favorite Thai place in San Francisco. Authentic, great quality food and still reasonable priced.
Only issue is the location. This area is just getting worse and worse. We try not to come here after dark and always make sure to park right in front of the restaurant.
Parking: Parking is always a pain. Keep your stuff out of sight.“

“We had a great meal here for a reasonable price. The beer was only $3 due to happy hour.
There were also no unexpected service charges, something we read a lot about in reviews of restaurants in this area.
And highly recommended“

“I enjoyed the concept with a bento box prix fix concept from a selection of different set options. I chose the fish and shrimp set and all the flavors were fantastic. I do think the pricing is a little on the expensive side for the portions and wished it would be just a tad larger. Great service, easy to access even without reservations on a Thursday night after work.“

“On a recent trip to SF I got to experience this Resturant. Cozy intimate and comfortable, we had an awesome meal. Some of the group were Vegan and they were able to accommodate them with ease. But the BEST part was the waiter he was so sweet kind and attentive. I wish I knew his name. I can’t wait to visit my family again to visit this place and oh yeah the prices are great.“

“This is the best Thai reataurant!! My family and I have been going here for over 15 years. We refer to it as “good thai” to distinguish it from the other thai places around. The food is delicious and so flavorful. Our favorites are the yellow and green curries, pad see ew, and eggplant with tofu. Everything on the menu is delicious!“

“TLDR: takeout Thai food that had great flavor
I got a bowl of Tom kha soup that was a huge portion, we had three bowls out of the takeout container and the flavors of the coconut curry soup left us feeling very warm. The pad Thai had a good amount of sweetness without being too sweet, the texture of the noodles were just right without being mushy“

“Kan Kiin Eatery has a thai fusion vibe nestled in the heart if Daly City. This is the kind of place you don't expect to find in a strip mall. This Daly City spot is shaking up the Thai food scene with its seriously good brunch and dinner menu. It's like your favorite Thai takeout got a fancy upgrade. Now it's gotten in the Michelin guide, definitely hit it up before lines get too long.
Their brunch game is on point. The Hat Yai Chicken and Waffles is pure genius – crispy chicken with a Thai twist, stacked on fluffy waffles and drizzled with a sweet and spicy sauce. It's the kind of dish that will make you rethink your brunch plans.
The menu is has plenty of selection but with every dish showing off the chef's skills. The Kan KIIN French toast is delicious as well as the luscious corn cake crab Benedict.
If you're craving classic Thai flavors, don't worry, they've got you covered. The drunken noodle (Pad Kee Mao) is packed with flavor. And the Khao Soi? This Northern Thai noodle soup is comfort food at its finest.
Kan Kiin has a chill vibe that's perfect for a casual hang with friends or a low-key date night. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you pick the perfect dish.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mama Mu's Bistro, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, who immediately made me feel at home.
The menu at Mama Mu's Bistro is a delightful surprise with its diverse offerings. I opted for their signature dish, the "Chiang Mai" beef khao soi, and it was a revelation. The server not only served the dish but took the time to explain how to enjoy it fully, which added a personal touch to my meal.
The "Chiang Mai" beef khao soi itself was a masterpiece. The rich orange broth was bursting with flavor, and the tender beef paired perfectly with the noodles. A word of advice: heed the warning about wearing a bib or dark clothing because the broth is so deliciously splash-worthy!
To complement my meal, I enjoyed a complimentary matcha which was a refreshing palate cleanser, and a lime iced tea that was perfectly balanced in sweetness.
What truly impressed me was the ambiance of Mama Mu's Bistro. Despite arriving before the lunch rush, I had the restaurant almost to myself for an hour, allowing me to savor my meal in a tranquil environment.
Overall, Mama Mu's Bistro exceeded my expectations in every way. From the warm hospitality to the expertly crafted dishes, it's a place I can't wait to visit again soon. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with a touch of culinary flair, Mama Mu's Bistro should be at the top of your list.“

“Such great food and people. We were hungry driving around looking for that magical parking spot next to an acceptable eating spot bingo! We found it all at Gai. Unsure of what kinda of cuisine I said take the chance they’ve got a chicken on the sign so it’s actually food. And boy was it good. Delicious. Freshly prepared Asian Thai or Vietnamese food. I got the Original Chicken Rice bowl with side of broccali. My friend got the salad with Tofu. Both great. He sauces are fresh and flavorful. One is quite hot which I love. I recommend it. And as we sat there from 1:30 pm to 2:30, there were multiple to go orders being picked up. I think there were about 5 orders at a time rotating. Fresh Fast Full of Flavor. We hit the jackpot!“

“We ate there in a group of 6 people. The food was very, very tasty and plentiful. The service was just a bit too motivated and not good. Our food did not arrive at the table at the same time. And the waiter slammed the bill on the table while we were still eating. In addition, a "custom tip" is not desired for groups of 5 or more. The service could be more sensitive.“

“I recently tried the yellow curry and pad thai, and both dishes were incredible! The yellow curry was rich, creamy, and had just the right level of spice, with tender chunks of potato and chicken that soaked up all the flavors beautifully. The curry sauce was fragrant with hints of turmeric and coconut milk, which made it perfectly comforting.
As for the pad thai, it was a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy, with a delightful mix of textures. The noodles were cooked just right, and the peanuts added a nice crunch. Each bite had a burst of flavor, with the fresh lime juice cutting through and elevating the dish.
Both dishes paired wonderfully, and the portion sizes were generous. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors with a cozy, satisfying touch“

“It's a bit deserted on weekdays, with not many people dining.
I ordered a rice dish similar to Taiwanese Sambo, which was quite generous.
Is there a halved red egg? Sausage slices, red pork, crispy pork, the sauce is relatively sweet, there are no vegetables, it feels okay, a bit monotonous.
The service is quite good.“
