“We literally found Elephant Thai Cuisine by accident while picking up something nearby, and what a hidden gem in Vallejo! We have been searching for authentic Thai food for a long time. We have tried others near and far, but nothing compares to this.While the food is incredible, the experience is what sets them apart. The owner, Mr. Pooh, and his staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive while remaining highly efficient. They make the experience magnificent.The restaurant is beautifully decorated with elegant, room-sized photos of actual Thailand marketplaces, accompanied by gentle, soothing music.Now for the food: indescribable! Every single dish is consistent. The Massaman curry tastes incredible on Wednesday and exactly the same on Sunday. The fresh juices and the fried wontons (my favorite!) are always fresh, crispy, and delicious. We dine here often and highly recommend it! Great food, great people—the perfect blend.“

“This place has the most incredible traditional Laos food I have eaten since I was in Laos a few years ago. It has Kafir lime and other traditional ingredients that make it taste so authentic. The lady at the window was very friendly and took the time to ask us about our time in Laos, where we were from and gave us all of the equipment we would need to talk this back to our hotel room and enjoy it and boy we did!!! The portions are also very large which is great when the food quality is so high. I wish we were staying in this area longer because I would eat here again and again. 💜“

“I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I am a fan of flavorful and delicious food! This place is the real deal, and worth EVERY dime spent. I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. I call this soup "A vacation in a bowl" and I challenge anyone to step up and try it, You'll thank me mm for the recommendation 😎👍. “Our family loves The Thai Kitchen so much that we usually dig in before I even remember to take photos—so this review is long overdue!

From the moment you walk in, the owners and kitchen staff make you feel genuinely welcomed. Whether dining in or picking up takeout, our family is always treated like extended family, which keeps us coming back again and again.

The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our family favorites include the Vegetable Wonton Soup, Thai Eggrolls, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Vegetable Tempura, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Chow Mein, and their incredible soups—Tom Yum Goong, Tom Yum Gai, Tom Kha Gai, and Tom Kha Goong— and of course, you can’t go wrong with any of their curries! Top it all off with a refreshing Thai Tea, and you have perfection. (If you’re lucky, you might even be treated to sticky rice and mango when it’s in season!)

“FoodieLand created a mango sticky rice problem… and I’m not even mad about it. 😭

After shopping in Hercules, BB and I decided to stop by Taste of Laos because I’ve been craving mango sticky rice ever since FoodieLand. I had seen some really positive Yelp reviews, and after this visit, I can confirm the reviews aren’t wrong.

We started with the Prawn Blankets, which are seasoned prawns wrapped in a crispy wonton-style wrapper and served with jeow som, a sweet and tangy Lao chili dipping sauce. There are five to an order, and they were absolutely delicious.

Of course, the main reason I came was for the Mango Sticky Rice. I asked for extra coconut sauce (because we’re not doing things halfway around here 😭), and it came with fresh mango slices, pandan sticky rice, sweet coconut milk, and sesame seeds. Everything was perfectly balanced, sweet, and incredibly satisfying.

The service was exceptional. The ladies working in the dining room were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind.

I told them I’d be back often because of my newfound mango sticky rice obsession, and I wasn’t kidding. In fact… I may have ordered another one to go. No judgment, please.

Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.“
