“We literally found Elephant Thai Cuisine by accident while picking up something nearby, and what a hidden gem in Vallejo! We have been searching for authentic Thai food for a long time. We have tried others near and far, but nothing compares to this.While the food is incredible, the experience is what sets them apart. The owner, Mr. Pooh, and his staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive while remaining highly efficient. They make the experience magnificent.The restaurant is beautifully decorated with elegant, room-sized photos of actual Thailand marketplaces, accompanied by gentle, soothing music.Now for the food: indescribable! Every single dish is consistent. The Massaman curry tastes incredible on Wednesday and exactly the same on Sunday. The fresh juices and the fried wontons (my favorite!) are always fresh, crispy, and delicious. We dine here often and highly recommend it! Great food, great people—the perfect blend.“

“Kind of a hidden gem food truck behind a casino. We'd been craving Khao Mun Gai for the longest time and while in Vallejo, I looked up nearby restaurants and this one popped up and coincidentally, they had that dish on their menu. We almost didn't go because I realized it was a food truck and not an actual restaurant but I'm glad we decided to give it a try. There was a nice variety of items and drinks on their menu but we went with the Kaho Mun Gai, Beef Laap, and Nam Khao. Each dish was full of flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The owner(?) who helped us was very nice and friendly and chatted with us for a little bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick dinner here and will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Thank you for the great meal!

“I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I am a fan of flavorful and delicious food! This place is the real deal, and worth EVERY dime spent. I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. I call this soup "A vacation in a bowl" and I challenge anyone to step up and try it, You'll thank me mm for the recommendation 😎👍. From the moment you walk in, the owners and kitchen staff make you feel genuinely welcomed. Whether dining in or picking up takeout, our family is always treated like extended family, which keeps us coming back again and again.

The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our family favorites include the Vegetable Wonton Soup, Thai Eggrolls, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Vegetable Tempura, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Chow Mein, and their incredible soups—Tom Yum Goong, Tom Yum Gai, Tom Kha Gai, and Tom Kha Goong— and of course, you can’t go wrong with any of their curries! Top it all off with a refreshing Thai Tea, and you have perfection. (If you’re lucky, you might even be treated to sticky rice and mango when it’s in season!)

Portions are generous—perfect for sharing or enjoying as leftovers—and the menu offers great value, including reasonably priced lunch specials and a wide range of regular offerings.

“Lao/Thai Cuisine family favorite! Small business owners who serve their heart and soul into their customers!

We came for New Years Eve as our plan to BBQ got ruined due to the rain that day.

We started with some hot tea, sodas and even Thai tea.

We ordered a little bit of everything and shared in between all 10 of us.

• Egg Rolls were extra crispy (exactly how we love them) and filling was yummy.
• Chicken & Beef Pad Thai which were perfectly sautéed and with a squeeze of lime on top was perfect!
• Lamb Curry was a hit on our table. Just like it came in; it was gone easily! The curry sauce with white rice is a must try!
• Salmon Curry was another hit. Grandma loved it! And if she’s happy we were happy!
• Crab Fried Rice was really good and it was big chunks of crab. Flavors brought me back to the street food of Chiang Mai. A lot of places lack on that detail.
• Pho Lao Style was delicious and with that extra lime squeeze was even better. Lots of noodles and beef to go through. Very filling. Had to order it since it was so cold outside.
• Spicy Eggplant was a little too spicy for me but family enjoyed it!
• We also had 3 other veggie dishes I can’t remember the names which were devoured very quickly!

For dessert:

• Mango Sticky Rice was okay but nothing special. Mango was perfectly ripe in a way it wasn’t too ripe if you know what I mean.
• Fried Banana with Strawberry Ice Cream. Delicious! Dessert is huge!
