“Delicious from start to finish. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Burrata, Meatballs, Pork Belly, and tiramisu, and everything was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The meatballs were especially memorable, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. Add a little burrata to a bite of the meatballs for a perfect bite.
The wine selection complemented the food beautifully. They were also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation time, which we appreciated.

“We’ve come here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. A lot of specialty IPAs and pretty decent prices on some of them. I had the black and blue heart cider and it was scrumptious. Nice and tart. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. We had breakfast before the game, and a late lunch/early dinner after the game. 15 minute walk to the ballpark to see a Dodger victory in between. “My friend and I came to DTLA Ramen late Monday afternoon in order to wait out the traffic and have an early dinner, and lucky for us, we got in on the last hour of Happy Hour (weekdays 3pm-6pm), so we got $2 off our Ramen and $1 off our salted Edamame.

The Edamame was pretty good, although not too out of the ordinary even with the salt.

Our Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, however, was savory, albeit not that spicy even though my friend got the Spicy (she rated it 4/10 in spiciness) ) and I got the Extra Spicy (6/10 in spiciness). So if you love it even hotter, don't be afraid to ask for even more heat.

The Chashu pork slices were nicely thick and charred, soaking up the broth while maintaining just enough crispiness. Both the broth and the noodle were also thick and delicious, giving you plenty of flavor with every slurp.

If there was something I felt lacking, it would be to have a bit more flair to the taste, since everything is a little one note and not a lot of depth and texture in the flavor. But that's OK, it was tasty as it was so we still ended up satisfied!“

The mackerel had a wonderful sauce and the apple cake was better than my grandmother’s. The home brewed beers were great and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

“You know, Korean style chicken has evolved over the past decades in Korea itself and the market’s saturated with many brands more popular than Pelicana, but Peicana was one of THE original brands known for their spicy seasoned chicken (yang nyum)

I have not tried any other Pelicana locations, and I have no particular comment for their regular fried chicken, but the spicy original seasoned chicken at this particular Artesia location is VERY good with generous sauce on the bottom of the box to dip in any portions that you want more of it on. My hubby says it tastes just like what he used to have back in the days (tho he is more of a Kyo chon consumer in Korea, but here in the States this is his favorite). So I would say (for those who like ‘em of course) just get the original spicy seasoned chicken and you won’t fail. Plus the lady who runs the place is very, very nice — three times we bought from her though she doesn’t seem to remember (-;“

“People barely talk about this spot. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They’re right by a golf course so it’s super pretty and people are really nice. I got their matcha latte, Korean corn dog, galbi bibimbap, and kimchi beef soup to try.
The strawberry matcha was sweet had bright strawberry flaves with mellow matchay notes and was nice and milky. If you’re not into cafe like drinks they also have a cooler full of other fun drinks to pick from too. The corn dog came with some crisp corny tortilla chips and salsa and was topped with sweet ketchup, gooey cheese, was coated in crispity crunchity panko breadcrumbs and had an a bit sweet fluffy bready batter filled with half mozzarella and half a spongy fish sausage. Course we gotta mix up the bibimbap that had a not spicy chili flavor gochujang sauce, crunchy nutty lettuce, tender grilled veggies, pickled yellow radish, an egg, and perfectly sweet, savory, grilled, galbi short ribs that were just pure deliciousity. The kimchi beef soup came with a side of rice and pickles and HAD A BUTTON of jiggly soft tofu, crunchy kimchi, and tender beef, all in a savory, a bit spicy, tangy, kimchiy broth. More people should be talking about this spot cuz it’s pretty good.
