“The location is terrific. We sat on the outside patio where it was relaxing, shaded by beautiful trees, comfy chairs, twinkly lights - really a nice ambiance. I can’t give the food as high marks as the restaurant’s physical attributes but it was more than okay. I had the pasta bolognese which was very under-seasoned and kind of flavorless (the pasta was perfectly al dente though). My husband had the duck breast which he thought was excellent. The service was pretty good although I had to wait so long for my aperitif that the food arrived before the drink! That was disappointing and I got antsy just sitting there empty handed for an unreasonably long time (I finally told them to bring my husband’s drink so at least one of us had something). That said, I have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner out or special occasion.”

Delicious (especially sesame rose and birdseed thumbprint) cookies, chocolate chia pudding and snickers bites. Swiss chard enchiladas good, fresh corn tamales outstanding (perfect combination) with Caesar salad yet! The pizza chef is an artist…orange pistachio pizza is a taste delight. Wonderful iced matcha latte. Would like to extend trip to savor more ??

The ice cream here is simply amazing – it’s incredibly smooth and not overly sweet, with a rich, creamy flavor that is just perfect. They offer a wide variety of flavors, more than a dozen to choose from, each one better than the last. If you’re visiting Ojai, this is a must-try spot. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Always excellent Vegan fare…I had the spicy noodle special. My wife had the Tiger Bowl which is a fave. Just so special to be in Ojai, in the Fall, at this great place. We are former Blue Mango and Davis Food Coop folks from our Davis College Days and this brings back the old days!”

“Pre fixe menu. Each course was creative, well presented, and delicious. Our main courses were the Swordfish and the Branzino. Both excellent. Extensive wine list, including many half-bottle choices. Tasty desserts. We left satisfied. The service was attentive and courteous. Server was well informed regarding each item on the menu. Atmosphere also nice; we sat on the deck outside.

“I've been here about 10 times now with my wife and kids. Tried several menu items and have always been pleased with quality, quantity and taste.
Family owned and run, the staff is very nice. This will continue to be our go to spot for lunch here in Ojai.

“Delicious food, a joyful setting, and happy staff. The Tibetan MOMO , Indian curry sushi burrito was very tasty. but there was a large selection on their menu, they even have lots of sushi, and it was delicious. Highly recommend it and would eat here again.”

“Relative to sushi in Ojai, this place is unbelievable. Relative to sushi anywhere in the world, this place is reallyyy good. I’ve been here twice and tried a lot, and there is not one thing I haven’t liked.

What I love most about this place is that the chef allows his creativity to shine through with skewers, ramen, karaage, and various other creative hot and cold Japanese dishes. Probably some of the best kimchi I’ve ever had.

It’s a must stop for Japanese in Ojai and is very reasonably priced. This place is going to be a staple in Ojai for a long time.”

“if I had to choose where to get a good smash burger this would be it. over all of the places I’ve tried a hamburger this place really outdoes itself, when I first came in the atmosphere was relaxing and the music really just made me want to sit down and take it all in, id honestly just eat inside just to listen to the music lol, but as for the food I honestly would make this the #1 hamburger place to visit in california instead of in n out, cause it tasted super good and everything was well balanced and I absolutely loved the sauce they used, my only critique would be maybe making the fries a little bit more crispy and seasoned, but if definitely recommend coming here and eating! totally worth it ?”

“cool spot had a mini classic car event nice people offering us free cake from a bday event some harley riders there everyone really nice I didn't try the food but it looked good my only issue was the disgusting porta potty they had in the parking lot, bring your nose plugs and your own hand sanitizer...”

“Grabbed a sandwich here for an afternoon picnic at Libbey park. Was able to talk with MJ’s mom who shared her favorite spot in the park. Hefty sandwich with all the deli fixings, was able to share a sando between my wife and I.”
