“Porta Blu in Menlo Park was such a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that feels polished without being overly formal, and the entire evening was enjoyable from beginning to end.
The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with each dish feeling both refined and approachable. The cocktails were also fantastic, and the service really stood out. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal.
What I loved most was how effortless the whole experience felt. Great food, great drinks, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely warm hospitality. Porta Blu is the kind of place that works just as well for a special dinner as it does for a relaxed evening out.
Definitely a Menlo Park gem and somewhere I would happily return to again and again. Highly recommend!“
“Surprisingly delightful off the beaten path watering hole. Stopped by on the recommendation of a friend—stayed for the refreshingly smooth Natural Light and always tasty Trader Joe's snacks. Definitely a must-visit for any trip to Rains, CA.“

“Starbucks had a short lady who is rude today. Instead of handing my black coffee that was already brewed in to the cup, she acted busy trying make hot food and handing over to customer that came after me. Looked back at me waiting my hand and did not care - not sure if she is racist. Other garls when i asked about my coffee, they had to brew fresh coffee again!! Some good people. Lot of other fast food. Free parking on weekends..“

“I had one of the most unforgettable experiences at 840 Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge! I met the owner, Gil, on a Monday before the Super Bowl, and we got to talking about life and dreams. I mentioned to Gil that my only wish in this world was to go to the Super Bowl and to my absolute surprise, he bought me a ticket! I was stunned and so deeply moved. His kindness and generosity are truly rare and something I’ll never forget. The atmosphere at 840 Wine is warm and welcoming, the drinks are fantastic, and Gil’s heart is even bigger than the great wine selection. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes and incredible people, this is it. Thank you, Gil! you are an amazing man and made a dream come true! 🙌🍷💫“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“
“Rolled into town on a Wednesday, looking to book a late night party on the upcoming Saturday. Monica behind the bar grabbed the owner Malhi from next door. They were both super helpful and made it easy. Had a great time with good drinks. Even pumped our own music through their sound system. Nice looking place with chill vibe.“

“Our go-to bar before heading to the Guild Theater. The bartender makes excellent drinks, and every cocktail we've tried has been well-balanced and delicious. It's a great spot to grab a drink before a show. Plus they play old movies with Audrey Hepburn.“
