“Cute little coffee shop! I love supporting small businesses and came across this place when I looked up coffee shops near me. My husband got the Nutella latte extra sweet and I got the maple bar. He's very picky when it comes to coffee but LOVED it so much!! I really like that they automatically make the coffees with oatmilk and don't charge extra for it. That's a plus. For two small coffees we paid $10, which I think is very reasonable. Will be coming back! ?“

“I’m so happy to have The Chocolate Bar in Highland, they have great crepes and wonderful sweets. I love having a place nearby where I can get a great cup of coffee and a pastry. I respect that their drinks are in glass or ceramic cups and pastries and all sweets are in real plates and not paper or plastic, thank you for making us feel that there are still places out there that are not disposable.“

“I usually don't rate everything at a five but this place deserves it. The food is always good. The service is good the people are nice and bring your food and drinks to you. The place is always clean and the outside is beautiful. The inside is homie. My coffee not once was to strong or too sweet I've been here several times. Not once was I unhappy with anything.
Parking: Ok it depends on the time. There's parking on the side and parking in the front on the street. Some days it's packed and some days it's easy to find a spot. There are businesses that share the same lot. I only had trouble finding parking once and I realized I could park next door there's parking behind the business. Not a far walk at all
Kid-friendliness: Inside there's a small bookshelf that has activity things for the kids. The inside is a little small but the outside definitely has room for the kids if they are restless.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think the inside is a little bit small when it's packed but you can get in and out of the place. There's room outside if your out there after your order so there's always that option as well. The ordering area is counter hight but with the service there I'm sure they will accommodate.“

“It’s my first visit to this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location in Redlands and I was pleasantly surprised on my entire experience.
Parking: The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf set apart from the larger group of stores that parking should never be a problem
Kid-friendliness: The dining area is designed so that tables are spaced apart for acceptable privacy and plenty of room for a great family atmosphere. I wouldn’t think there to ever be an overwhelming number of children considering the Mai beverages are coffee and tea.
Wheelchair accessibility: I believe people in wheelchairs and other walking devices would feel quite at ease.“

“Typical Starbucks. Can't complain, made the drink right and didn't overdo it on the cold foam to coffee ratio lol. Other ones they like to fill a quarter of the cup with the stuff when I'm only asking for a little bit of foam to top the coffee lol. Im paying for coffee not foam so much appreciated.“

Love that I wanted to get an item that was only seasonal but my broista said they could still make it minus the sprinkles on top. She told me they always have the ingredients and how to order it. “Tried the spicy pineapple refresher. I would request 2 spoons of spicy powder instead of 3. The spice lingers in your throat for about 5 minutes. However, the drink is refreshingly good. Try it!Shout out to Chris and Angie for friendly service!“
“A great place for a Green Apple slush! I was at the mall hanging out before a wedding reception so I had time to waste. I saw that this place had the Green Apple slush so I knew I wanted to try it here since it's one of my favorite slush. The employees were very friendly, the only reason I give 1 less star is because the cup was very sticky and it looked like they spilled some. My fiancée decided to ask me to get her a Thai Tea so I came back like 10 minutes later to get her drink. It was also leaking from the cup cover but I had paper towels in my car.“

“In my study, He asked me to examine the word “sins” in 1 John 1:9 and to see if it is a noun or verb in the original Greek text. Are you ready for this?
In the two instances where we see the word “sins” in 1 John 1:9, it is the Greek noun hamartia that is used. According to well-known Bible scholar William Vine, hamartia (“a missing of the mark”) indicates “a principle or source of action, or an inward element producing acts . . . a governing principle or power.” In other words, it refers to the sin principle, or our sinful state on account of Adam’s sin. By using the noun form of this word, John was clearly not referring to our committing of individual acts of sin, or he would have used the verb form, hamartano.
In the light of this, can you see how 1 John 1:9 is not talking about confessing our sins every time we sin in thought or in deed? John was speaking of the need to acknowledge and confess to God that we are sinners because of Adam’s sin, as well as to receive the total forgiveness for all our sins through Jesus’ finished work.
How often do we need to do this? Only once. That’s why 1 John 1:9 is primarily a salvation verse, one that encourages the sinner to acknowledge and confess his sinful state or “sinnerhood,” get born again by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and have his sinful state through Adam replaced with a new righteous state through Christ.
In the first chapter of 1 John, the apostle John was addressing the heretical Gnostic doctrine that did not subscribe to a belief in man’s sinful state. John was encouraging the Gnostics to confess their sinful state and receive the Lord’s complete forgiveness and total cleansing from all their unrighteousness through His finished work at the cross.
Now, what does John say then, about our committing of sins after we’ve become believers? Just two verses later in the second chapter of 1 John, John answers this question as he begins his address to believers: “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 John 2:1). This time, the words “sin” and “sins” are the Greek verb hamartano. John is now referring to believers’ committing of sins—their sinful thoughts and deeds. What does John say regarding this? He reminds us that when we fail as believers, we have an Advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ.
Because of our Lord Jesus and what He has accomplished at the cross, we have forgiveness and we still stand righteous before God even when we’ve missed it. As the apostle Paul reminded the Corinthian believers who had failed that they were still the temple of the Holy Spirit, John reminds us of who we are in Christ and Who we have representing us at God’s right hand.
Can you see that the Bible’s answer to overcoming sin is always to remind believers of their righteous identity in Christ? This is not to encourage us to sin but to encourage us to look to our Lord Jesus, to see our sins punished at the cross and to live victoriously and gloriously for Him. Remember, that is what true repentance is all about—turning to the cross and returning to His grace!
When you fail today, know that you can talk to God honestly about your failing, but do it with a revelation of the cross of our Lord Jesus. See your sins punished in His body and receive afresh His forgiveness and unmerited favor to reign over your sins.
