“I live right up the hill and order once every couple months. Often times, it's the only thing open around here. I find the staff to be exceptionally friendly and professional. The pizza is surprisingly decent, too. Don't expect it to be "authentico" - this is Domino's. For what you get, and with great service, I find it to be a bargain. I happily over-tip here.“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.“

“I would give this way more than 5 stars if I could! The wait is well worth it for their original dry fried wings. You can also ask for it to be spicier and they will definitely have a good kick to them. I've been multiple times and the wings never disappoint, and are my favorite wings in the city for sure. Not many vegetarian options, but I would definitely recommend the Vegetarian chow mein, it has good flavor and tons of veggies, and I always get it when I go. The green beans are a great starter as well, and vegetarian! They bring the food out fast after ordering too which is great. One of my favorite restaurants in the city!!“

“I was told Hot Sauce and Panko was the best place for wings in the city and now that I've tried it, I 100% agree! We ordered the Panko Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo Sauce (not pictured) and Chris', Al Pastor, Korean and Satay wings. The chicken sandwich was amazing!! 10/10 would re order. The chicken was thick but not dry and perfectly breaded. The wings were also great. My favourite was Al Pastor, the sauces reminded me of one of my favourite shawarma spots. I also loved the sweet honey flavour on the Chris' wings. The Korean and Satay wings were very flavourful but just too spicy for me. If you aren't the best with spice, I'd definitely recommend adding some ranch dip to your order. On my to do list next: trying the rest of the wing flavours!“

“Upon arrival I was able to order right away. I particularly valued its location on the quieter and cleaner side of the Tenderloin. Opting for the mix-and-match meal, I selected spicy lemon pepper and garlic parmesan as my chosen flavors. Priced at $18, including fries and a drink, the meal was reasonably priced. However, the spicy lemon pepper flavor was somewhat over-seasoned, suggesting a need for a lighter toss to avoid overpowering the palate. The overall taste was good, albeit a bit intense. I would consider ordering this flavor again with a lighter toss in the sauce. On a positive note, the GP boneless wings were a delightful surprise. Bursting with juiciness and flavor, they proved to be a highlight of the meal. Similar to the spicy lemon pepper, I would recommend a more restrained use of the sauce for a more balanced experience. Despite this minor adjustment, I would undoubtedly order this flavor again. In summary, while there were seasoning nuances to be mindful of, the overall experience was positive, and the GP boneless wings left a lasting impression.“

“This place is really really yummy .. very unique delicious flavors; all this was $99 and honestly worth every penny! Good for them. Would definitely recommend to friends. Service was good there was really only 1 guy helping the whole place and he was on top of it ! He could've used some help though. Nice big TVs playing sports to set the ambiance and vibe. Very tasty and quality restaurant right here. I would recommend it!“

“Very chill spot for some really good wings. The wings melt right off the bone and there's lots of great sauces to choose from. My favorite is the buffalo sauce, it has a good tang and spice to it. Second favorite is also the mango habanero which I've noticed has a varied spice level from the 2 times I've tried it. Lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan were okay flavors. The beers/ciders/sours are from local places around the bay which is cool too and they taste great. 5 wings I think is the right amount to fill you up.“

“Korean Fried chicken here is so delicious. Freshly made and house made sauce makes this place so unique. The single portion of chicken can fill 2-3 people. Comes with pickled radish. Corn dog was crispy on the outside with melted cheese on the inside. This corn dog is also dusted with sugar. Customer service is very friendly and always happy to explain the menu if you need help.“

“Been coming since they first open and I know and read it’s hit or miss on service depends on the day and person working but for my years of experience I’ve always enjoyed it. As long they get the usual food I order right and on time, on top of that food and dessert is good than this place is a four star for me. They don’t need to check on us or serve us like kings or queens because it’s a Hong Kong dessert house people. It’s not Gary danko with a $$$$ sign. The price is good. I usually get the egg puff which is better than all egg puff location even eggette. The HK milk tea is good but not as good as honk kong, fried garlic chicken wings, soy sauce wings, ham egg sandwich and mix fruits. Oh their green tea ice cream is a no no but vanilla is fine. They use the same batter for the waffle as the egg puff which is so yummy! Moving on that’s my usual order which has kept me going here for years. Wish they open earlier but I know they cater to the late people.“

“Great sports bar with the best buffalo wings in SF! Only removing one star because the prices have increased a lot. The main issue is there's been multiple times only one dude is there to serve a full bar -during a game- which can mean up to a 30min wait for a drink (even if it's your first and just a beer). He's great, but the risk of that definitely keeps me from going pretty often. It's always a good time after you get a drink though :)“

I’ll eat here again for sure!“

“Amidst the bustling culinary landscape of our fair city, there exists a dining establishment that transcends both time and tradition, a place known as "Tender Tenders." With a tagline that boldly proclaims "the best tenders in history," one must prepare for a gastronomic voyage like no other. Yet, dear reader, beneath this alluring veneer of culinary excellence, a whisper of enigmatic intrigue weaves its way through the hallowed corridors of this establishment. As I ventured into the ethereal confines of Tender Tenders, I was immediately captivated by its opulent décor, reminiscent of a bygone era. The ghostly candlelight flickered gently upon the aged wooden beams and timeworn maritime artifacts, a testament to a history rich in maritime lore. Little did I know that these antiquities concealed a secret; one whispered among the city's culinary cognoscenti—an owner of otherworldly origin, a spectral pirate from an ancient past. The menu, a veritable parchment of maritime marvels, beckoned me forth into the unknown. The star attraction, as promised by the restaurant's bold claim, was their legendary tenders. The Ghostly Captain's Signature Tenders, to be precise. These tender morsels of succulent chicken, dressed in a whisper-thin, ethereal batter, were a revelation. Each bite was an exquisite dance of flavors, a fusion of culinary prowess and spectral mystique. One could almost hear the distant creaking of a phantom ship's timbers as the flavors unfolded on the palate. The spectral touch extended beyond the tenders themselves. The sides, such as the Ghostly Slaw and Haunted Fries, bore the unmistakable mark of a chef who had transcended the boundaries of time and space to deliver a dining experience unlike any other. The coleslaw, with its delicate balance of tang and creaminess, invoked the nostalgia of long-lost seafaring feasts. The fries, crisp and golden, seemed to carry with them the echoes of a pirate's treasure chest. The service, though subtly imbued with an air of otherworldly mystery, was impeccable. The staff, who moved with an uncanny grace, attended to every need with an almost preternatural intuition. One could almost believe that they were spectral apparitions themselves, orchestrating a symphony of culinary delight.Dessert, too, bore the unmistakable mark of the Ghostly Captain's mastery. The Phantom Parfait, a delicate confection of ethereal creams and mysterious fruits, left me in a state of culinary rapture. It was as if the very essence of the ghostly owner had been captured in this final course. As I departed Tender Tenders, I couldn't help but ponder the enigmatic figure that is the restaurant's owner—a ghostly pirate from an ancient past. It was as if his spirit lingered in every corner, infusing the restaurant with a unique blend of history, mystery, and gastronomic excellence. Tender Tenders, with its extraordinary tenders and spectral ambiance, is a dining experience that defies both time and convention. It is a place where the boundaries between the living and the spectral blur, and where culinary mastery meets spectral enigma. A true Michelin star establishment that transcends the ordinary and beckons the adventurous diner to embark on a journey of taste and intrigue like no other.“

“I want to give this place a 4.4 starts (I can't select fractional stars on google). Simple good customer service stands out the most. Place is homey, maybe I'd like it a little more modern sometimes, but it wasn't a deal breaker, I would come back for a casual drink. I'd probably come here a lot on Fridays if I lived closer though. Good selection on tap. I didn't eat any food so I can't rate it.“

“They have special dishes. I have tried two items. One is rib rice. The other is eel rice. The eel rice was of wooden ear mushroom, orange peel to flavor it, Chinese preserved sausage and eel shreds. Very special item. I like it. It’s very folky. I wouldn’t have tried it if it’s not for them.“

“Order the chicken club and a side of cole slaw - it’s enough for two… and the most amazing sandwich I’ve had in awhile! Bacon, avocado, cheese, onion, lettuce etc… chicken was moist and tender… and a bargain to boot… there were Dominican Univ students there… and they’re good at finding the bargains on 4th st…This place looks a little dodgy from sidewalk looking in… but don’t let that fool you… it’s main sign is saying fish and chips - I’ll try that the next time…Parking: Not always nearby“

“Detroit style pizza is great. They make amazing cheese. During baking, the cheese melts completely into the pizza, and then it becomes chewy and delicious. For those who haven't tried it, don't hesitate and definitely try it. This is very excellent.“

“This place has always been consistent with my order. I am a creature of habit and order the same thing. I’ve only had one mixup and they corrected it promptly and even gave me a comp card for one of my next items. That was very generous of them. Most places don’t do that. I love their star sauce and the Greek yogurt sauce, neither one of these upsets my tummy as I have tummy issues from time and they’re delicious. This is one of my goto spots.“

“I got the 6x8. It's the pepperoni pizza. Great coverage - pepperoni in every bite. I'm not usually into more deep dish style but really loved this! Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in my life. SUPER impressed. The crust is very crispy, same with the pepperoni. Sauce is really good too. I split it with my wife. 2 pieces each is plenty! Good value too. $25 for a huge pizza, not bad!“
