“I came in yesterday for the first time. Nobody else there. I made a remark about being there for the first time. She all but rolled her eyes. Okay. I’ll put her down as unenthusiastic about her job as I probably would be. The bowl I got was good. Prices are crazy but I think that every time I eat.“

“I like the menu although many of the ingredients are too sweet. But I was drinking my avocado spinach fruit smoothie and felt something very stringy in my mouth. Thought it's a fibrous veggie but I knew the smoothie vegetables were only avocado & spinach and not say, celery. Spit it out and it was 2" of clear plastic wrap that had likely been wrapping a fruit. Now I'm worried that other pieces of clear plastic wrap got ground into the smoothie and this is the one that was big enough to notice.
I called to tell them right away and no one picks up the phone and it doesn't go to voicemail so here is this warning. Otherwise food is tasty.“

“Acai bowls are really tasty, although kind of expensive. That's SF for you! The ingredients seem high quality and the portions are generous so it's worth it as a treat. It would be nice if they have a couple small tables instead of no seating, but we typically take our bowls to duboce park. The guy who almost always seems to be working there is friendly, which I appreciate.
Vegetarian options: It's all smoothies and juices so unless there are any super surprises it should all be vegetarian and probably mostly vegan
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, do your kids like smoothies and acai?“

“Delicious Filipino Ice Cream shop that’s tucked away across from Blue Mermaid. The cutest and sweetest owners and delicious ice cream at such a low price. This is a local shop I would recommend and support. Definitely coming back here when visiting SF in the future.“

“I thought this was an ordinary around the corner boba tea shop, the store presentation and their uniqueness really surprised me. Not only did they offer Vietnamese coffee made from equator coffee, they also offered a variety of matcha for matcha lovers like me. They pretty much have everyone covered. I also like that they have the option to do 0% sweet, which is extremely important for those who are health conscious.“

“The girls who were working there this morning were FABULOUS! Audrey made my bowl with EXTRA granola, and I mean a heaping portion!!
I got my Hawaiian bowl and I was expecting a small size like Jamba Juice usually gives, but for $14 you’re getting a huge açai bowl!! So happy!!
So delicious!“

“The best açaí bowls I’ve ever had. They also put granola on the bottom and top which is a nice detail so you don’t have straight açaí at the end.
Dietary restrictions: It’s all vegan
Parking: There’s a big parking lot next to it and there’s usually street parking that’s free“

“🔥 Dirty Bird Dog – A Must-Try Limited Edition 🌭
I recently picked up the Dirty Bird Dog while waiting for my bike to be serviced at Last Mile—and it was epic! This special hot dog is an all‑beef frank loaded with three‑cheese mac & cheese, ham, pickled pineapple, serranos, and a crispy Cool Ranch Doritos crumble—a bold flavor mashup with salty, spicy, creamy, and tangy notes all in one bite
What really impressed me:
Flavor explosion: From gooey mac & cheese to zesty pineapple and spicy serranos, every mouthful was next-level.
Thoughtful service: They brought it out to me fresh and hot—no need to wait at a counter.
Snappy crave factor: You can tell this is a limited-time genius—inventive, indulgent, and totally worth it.
If you're around Hayes Valley before the Dirty Bird Dog disappears (June 9–14), make a stop. It’s the kind of creative collab you don’t want to miss. Big thumbs up from me! 👍“

“Typical jamba juice experience but either there is a markup at this location or the cost of the drinks have gone up! 10$ for a medium smoothie is very high. May as well get a burrito. The drinks are good though and the staff was friendly and patient.“

“Cute and clean little market and café, perfect for breakfast and lunch time off your work.
The food and drinks are freshly prepared with care and love for their clients.
The place is always full, but it is easy to find a spot where to eat, since there are always people coming and going.
I would like to give a shout out to Gina the owner, first of all. She was reorganizing the flowers and placed a little bouquet on our table with a big smile. We also chatted a little on the sidewalk outside. What a sunny and nice person.
Alex, the bar Supervisor, who impressed me remembering my name before my order the day after and gave me a discount.
Liz, who is very sweet.
In general, all the employees seem to be happy, friendly and welcoming.
Thank you,
Francesco“
“Great juices and the best almond milk around. Fair prices for all the juices and juice shots with very good daily specials, like 6 for $30.00, almost $3.00 off per almond milk. This is an excellent juice shop, unlike Juice Project on Chestnut Street, which is terrible and overpriced too.“

“During a recent visit to Sausalito, I stopped by Lappert’s Ice Cream, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. There was a bit of a line, but it moved steadily—and the wait was well worth it.
I tried their Ube ice cream, and it was exceptional. The flavor was rich, authentic, and subtly sweet, with a creamy texture that made every bite satisfying. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients and put care into their flavor profiles.“

“The large açaí bowl is huge and keeps me full most of the day. The fruit is fresh and good quality.
This place has been slammed every time I come in but the employees are always working hard to keep up with orders without cutting corners or getting short with customers. If you’re in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead for pickup.
The shop is small, just big enough for people to order and stand waiting along the wall. It’s clean and the rainbow flags are a friendly touch.“

“With a picky taste in coffee, i struggle a lot to find a good cup of coffee that is not too acidic nor taste like ashes… i found here the closest to my liking.. nice service lady with a big smile. The place is small and simple… well, for coffee lovers who are craving a good cup of coffee in the morning here in SFO, i can recommend this one.“

“Have come here before and will keep coming back- great selection of fruit teas, milk teas, smoothies, even soft serve and egg puff waffle. I was introduced to this place by friends who really like this boba spot too. It’s a small store inside but they process orders quickly and there’s 3 little screens to place your order on. No bathroom or inside seating, though there are 2 benches just outside.
I got the honey lemon with aloe, regular ice, 50% sugar, with agar (pictured) and it was a good option for a hot day when I wanted something light.“
“Glad to find this place. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their offering and even their service. Well I don't really like coffee drinks that have flavorings in them. I was pretty hungry and was almost about to order one when I saw that they had more extensive boba type menu. And I ordered the taro drink which had a combination of fresh taro milk and kind of the artificial taro milk mixture. You can see that they have different layers and it looks pretty nice. I would go back and try the other boba things. The staff were pretty nice and willing to answer my questions about what was in their drinks.“

“Lunch at Julie's has become a ritual now. I am there at least 1-2 times per week. What a great selection of food that you can have fairly quickly. Got addicted to the Japache noodles from here. I think about them in weekend and then Monday afternoon here I am with a plate full of them.“

“I luckily stumbled upon this spot hidden along the Geary corridor that offers delicious, comforting Brazilian bites like coxinha (those savory, teardrop-shaped croquettes filled with shredded chicken) right alongside your morning brew. The fresh acai bowls is the ideal kind of breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up that genuinely brightens my day. It adds such a unique and delightful twist to the usual coffee shop fare, making it a true culinary gem.
And of course, it wouldn't be a coffee shop review without mentioning the coffee itself! The cappuccinos get a special shout-out for being perfectly crafted – rich, smooth, and just what you need to kickstart your day or enjoy a quiet moment.
Beyond the food and drinks, what really comes through is the atmosphere. It's a place where you can genuinely relax, whether you're catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a moment of peace, Not just serving coffee and food; they're serving up a genuinely delightful experience. Definitely worth a visit!“

“We stumbled upon UpforDayz early at 6:30am, wrapped in the chill of San Francisco’s summer fog, and were greeted with warmth—both in service and spirit. The friendly couple running the place went above and beyond, crafting a simple yet thoughtful breakfast despite limited gluten-free and dairy-free options. Boiled eggs for my husband and a comforting fruity oatmeal bowl for me—small gestures that made a big impact.
The bakery smelled divine, and the ambiance was relaxed and inviting, just what you’d hope for in a neighborhood café. A hidden gem for early risers looking for heartwarming service and a cozy bite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Friendly staff, but the acai bowls weren't much different from Jamba Juice imo. They were a little bigger but also cost more. If I'm gonna pay more than $14 per Acai bowl, it'd better knock my socks off. Bebe bar in SF is one I highly recommend. I used to love Vitality bowls becuz of the decent quality and pretty good value, they closed their SF location though unfortunately so only other options are I think Oakland or somewhere in the east bay near Oak, and Palo Alto.Pressed's juices are decent. However, they're pre-juiced and bottled at a different location and delivered there, so don't expect to get fruits and veggies juiced right when you place an order. That being said, they seem fresh and I do have to compliment them in regards to how clean and organized their facility looks.“

“Fantastic ice cream! We had the Kauai Pie, which is Kona Coffee, Chocolate Fudge, Macadamia Nuts and Chunks of coconut. Extremely yummy! A scoop as of June 2024 is $6, and it’s pretty large.
