“Acai bowls are really tasty, although kind of expensive. That's SF for you! The ingredients seem high quality and the portions are generous so it's worth it as a treat. It would be nice if they have a couple small tables instead of no seating, but we typically take our bowls to duboce park.The guy who almost always seems to be working there is friendly, which I appreciate.

Vegetarian options: It's all smoothies and juices so unless there are any super surprises it should all be vegetarian and probably mostly vegan

“Always a good experience, everything is very good especially their TaroMatcha drink, one of my favorites. Rated 4 stars though I'm pretty bummed out we drove 20 minutes because I really didn't want to leave the city without getting one of my favorite drinks. Got their 20 minutes before closing just to be told that they stopped making drinks 30 minutes before they close. Let them know that's pretty messed up especially since it's not stated anywhere and drove all the way there for nothing. Was only told to come by 1 hr before closing lol wanted it so bad I could taste it 😭 if you know you know.“

This place has been slammed every time I come in but the employees are always working hard to keep up with orders without cutting corners or getting short with customers. If you’re in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead for pickup.

The shop is small, just big enough for people to order and stand waiting along the wall. It’s clean and the rainbow flags are a friendly touch.“

“Ice cream is great! Servers are really rude and yell at the customers though. If I came here for ice cream after a long day, their attitudes would send me over the edge. Instead of yelling “NEXT!” They could probably say “I could help you over here!” with a smile and a wave.“

“I am from Brazil and a frequent visitor to Padoca. The service is top-notch, and the coxinhas, esfihas, and pastries are always delicious. The cheese bread reminds me of the cheese bread from Minas Gerais; everything is simply delightful. They are very authentic!

I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to relive a taste of Brazil or learn about some Brazilian foods/ snacks. Not to mention the brigadeiros (chocolate treat), which are excellent! (coming from a brigadeiro addict).

“Surprise root canal procedure (the wife's) at the dentist next door meant I was stranded in the city, early. No time for coffee or a snack at home. So while wifey was in the chair, I was free to search out a cappuccino and breakfast. Cafe Encore totally scored. Excellent cappuccino, tasty bagel sandwich, charming/delightful owner. “We stopped here for a smoothie. There were quite a few people waiting for theirs - and some said approx a half hour. Maybe a machine hadn't been working before I arrived or maybe they just needed to go in the back and wash the pitchers - and hadn't had time to do that. Not sure -- but somehow service sped up and I received mine within 5 minutes. The smoothies are as good as expected at Jamba Juice and the workers were really doing the best they could and were also friendly inspite of how hard/fast they were trying to service the demand.“

“Glad to find this place. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their offering and even their service. Well I don't really like coffee drinks that have flavorings in them. I was pretty hungry and was almost about to order one when I saw that they had more extensive boba type menu. And I ordered the taro drink which had a combination of fresh taro milk and kind of the artificial taro milk mixture. You can see that they have different layers and it looks pretty nice. I would go back and try the other boba things. The staff were pretty nice and willing to answer my questions about what was in their drinks.“

If I'm gonna pay more than $14 per Acai bowl, it'd better knock my socks off. Bebe bar in SF is one I highly recommend. I used to love Vitality bowls becuz of the decent quality and pretty good value, they closed their SF location though unfortunately so only other options are I think Oakland or somewhere in the east bay near Oak, and Palo Alto.Pressed's juices are decent. However, they're pre-juiced and bottled at a different location and delivered there, so don't expect to get fruits and veggies juiced right when you place an order. That being said, they seem fresh and I do have to compliment them in regards to how clean and organized their facility looks.“

“Wanted a sweet treat and this adorable place caught our eye. I really only wanted the matcha but their 3 for $11 was tempting so ended up getting three donuts.

Tried the matcha one as I left the shop and it was yummy. I did notice it seems more oily than other mochi donut places and could’ve done without the extra oil. The napkin I was holding was quite soaked by the time I had finished it.

Flavours were great, soft and chewy on the inside, I think it would deserve a 5 star if they could tone down the oil a bit.“

Also, every Tuesday from 7am to 1pm, the food is 50% for Taste Test Tuesday. All baked goods, hot foods, even the overnight oats are 50% off but smoothies and other drinks are still full price.

“Love that they don’t add sugar to their bowls. They also use fresh spinach for the green bowl (my favorite). You can see the bits inside it in the picture attached and I have watched them make it. They have always gotten my order correct, when I ask for all the sugary topping to be removed, like granola and honey and the nice man who works there always checks if I still want the coconut flakes added. Their app isn’t that great and the rewards system doesn’t make sense to me but I always stop by whenever I’m in the Marina for a refreshing spinach coconut probiotic green bowl, which is a bit pricey at $14 but I like the quality.“
