“so my wife and I were craving some ramen for lunch in San Francisco. I came upon this random spot on Google, read the reviews & skimmed the menu. looked pretty damn good based on our personal ramen preferences. my wife ordered the black garlic oil ramen. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen. we both are very picky with our ramen - we like our broth rich, salty, creamy & flavorful. and let me tell you, coming from the east coast / NJ / NYC (we have great ramen spots there) - AFTER HOURS RAMEN TOTALLY DELIVERED 200%. I could not stress enough to my wife how satisfied I was with our meal today. oh & they had some nice 2000s hip hop/pop/r&b music playing during our lunch. loved it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're in the SF area. located couple blocks from ocean beach so you can walk off your food.

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. “I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered online and picked up and they got every little detail perfect. I forgot my bike lock and the staff were nice enough to let me put my bike inside while eating. Food was delicious and there's plenty of dip and one of those fancy soda machines that lets you pick among a huge number of sodas. There are no trash cans which I find a bit disconcerting (they pick up your trash for you) but that's okay. I also liked the radio station they had on. Seating is limited but it was fine and peaceful at the time that I went there.“

“Little Joey Skidmark lives just a half block away from Big Baba in that little funky yellow house, so when he asked me for a ride home from pier 3 I said as long as you sit on your jacket and keep the window down, because I don't want a stained seat in my truck. “At around 8pm, there aren't a lot of choices for Korean food. My urge for some Korean tofu soup brought me to Kukje Market Restaurant. My order was the #3, soft tofu soup combo, beef, clams and shrimps $20. This was a small soup served on boiling hot stoneware. It took about 15 minutes of waiting before I was able to enjoy this without burning my mouth. The highlight for me was the little Korean banchan side dishes and how it goes well with the bowl of rice. In terms of service, the waiter was more interested in talking to his co-workers and doom scrolling on his phone as it was the end of the day. At least the food came out fast.“

“The food is great here! Chicken fingers are very tender but since they opened, it seems like the fingers got shorter. The coleslaw is packed! Fresh and sweet! Crinkle fries are good. But the sauce for the chicken seemed a bit too salty. I read in another review, someone said the same. Overall, very friendly crew! All the servers greeted you promptly and with a smile 😃 It has died down since it 1st opened which is nice because we went on a weekend and you have a nice, quiet atmosphere.“

“I wanted to give a positive review for the night manager I believe she was a little older and had grey hair pulled back in a bun - I came in today and there was a misunderstanding around the cost of special and toppings and she resolved the issue correctly - I worked in front-facing store with walk-in customers for over 10 years, and I can say that she handled the situation the way I would have handled the situation, and provided exceptional customer service. There is a name on receipt Tun - so don't know if that is the individual who originally placed order or the manager I spoke to who resolved my issue, but I appreciate the service - and the manager who resolved my issue could easily work as a trainer of managers in a corporate setting to train managers on how to provide exceptional customer service. That would be my recommendation.“

“Earlier this week on Sunday, I was craving some Korean fried Chicken, which I never had before. I did a search on Google and came across Bonchon in San Mateo. The first experience I had, I was not happy with my order because it was not accurate. I ordered an 8 piece, but only received a 4 piece and because it’s through a 3rd party nothing could be done. I decided on Monday I would order this time directly from the restaurant. Everything worked out, and I have to tell you even though my order was not right the first time? This did not take away from the quality of the food. I ordered the drumsticks extra crunch? No sauce, and the first time I ordered with fried rice, both were excellent. The seasoning, it was rich with flavor, and I have absolutely no complaints. The second time on Monday I ordered the same chicken a 4 piece, the corn with the mayonnaise, cheese and red pepper flakes, with a side of steamed rice. Everything was just perfect. I’m not kidding you it’s taking everything in me to control myself from ordering more today, and it’s just Tuesday. It’s just that good! Whoever the chefs are, you can taste the love in their cooking, it’s not just thrown together. There is Love in their food, and know this because my Mom’s food is just the same. Every bite is good. I don’t say these things lightly when it comes to restaurants. There’s not too many that impress me like this. All I can say is keep the love in your food, and don’t change the quality even if you have a million customers, don’t change your food. 5/5 for me, it’s a must try if you love fried chicken or Korean food. I don’t have pictures this time, maybe next time if I can upload I will. The chicken is so crunchy that even when it’s cold it’s still good and crunchy and not soggy. That is when you know food is good, when it gets cold and it’s just as good. Thank you so much for listening.“
