Yan Peninsula 知味軒 Reviews
Food, service and prices were OK, you can relax with friends over lunch or dinner and not feel like you needed to pay and get out right after meal. There's always tables available (because the place is large) and no need to take a number and wait. Atmosphere is top notch with high ceiling and feel like you step in a 5 star place.
Very nice!
This restaurant has a parking lot in the back. Dim sum was very good. The shrimp dumplings ( Ha Gao ) are huge with lots of shrimp ! Other DimSum plates are also excellent.

Yan Peninsula 知味軒 offers a welcoming dining experience with good food and friendly service. The restaurant has a parking lot in the back and is spacious, making it easy to find a spot. The dim sum is highly praised, especially the shrimp dumplings (Ha Gao), which are large and filled with lots of shrimp. Other dim sum plates are also considered excellent, with fresh and tasty ingredients. The quality of the food has improved under the current ownership, with many diners enjoying their meals, though some mention that the broccoli was old and bitter.
The staff generally provides attentive service, but some reviews note occasional issues such as a bad attitude from one server and mistakes like shrimp dumplings coming out raw or hot water being served instead of cold. There have been concerns about overcharging, with some feeling that automatic tips and charges for tea are unfair, especially when service is not exceptional. Despite these minor issues, guests often find the prices reasonable for the Bay Area. Overall, Yan Peninsula 知味軒 is a decent choice for dim sum and meals, with a mix of good food, attentive staff, and some areas for improvement.
