“Plenty of good IPAs, draft, and domestic beers. The Backyard Burger was wonderful, definitely coming back just for that. Having Delirium Tremens in their beer stock was amazing, hadn't seen many bars with this many good options in a while. A good place for a quiet and private date, but with good walking distance to Echo Park and local bars and venues.“

“We’ve come here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. A lot of specialty IPAs and pretty decent prices on some of them. I had the black and blue heart cider and it was scrumptious. Nice and tart. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

“Been coming here the past few months, I think since they first opened. But was recommended to check it out thru a mutual connection and they definitely did an amazing job - inside is super clean, tvs and games, football watch parties and some other events happen periodically. I'd def recommend coming to check out a game, or a karaoke night. Staff are super friendly, would definitely recommend coming thru!“
“O so stop in on a monthly basic to buy my money order for my rent add money to my prepaid card and play lottery. They're very curtious and sometime a bit crowded especially the first part of the month. It's not the cleaniess place due to the area and they type of people that enter this particular place. Or her wise it's convenient because I live 3 blocks away from this place.“

“I grew up on German food from my native German grandmother and mother. All the dishes were authentic. The sausages were wonderfully spiced and not fatty. The mackerel had a wonderful sauce and the apple cake was better than my grandmother’s. The home brewed beers were great and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Think of it as a Biergarten meets LA chic. All the good food without the lederhosen, dirndels and oompah band. The only reason I can think the rating isn’t 5.0 is the more negative comments are from people who wanted the shlock or from people who don’t understand real German food.“

“Overall great experience. Our party was pretty big, the place was average busy. I could tell they were short staffed since our server Carla was all over the place handling tables. However still managed to have a smile for us all. It was a little hard to talk over the loud live banda playing, but wasn't an issue. Great customer service!“

The bottle service was the best we didnt have to keep finding our host at all they kept coming by making sure we were good, clearing our tables and making sure we had everything we needed!! “M Park Cafe is a CONSISTENTLY good place to grab a sandwich, a beer, or a snack. Good value for the price. Cold beer. Snacks. Two decks. Great views. I like this place.
After a bucket of balls at the driving range, this is where you want to be. If you think you deserve something fancier, you will get suckered by Luminarias next door. Don't do Luminarias… they will let you down. Stay at M Park Cafe. I'm a local, and that's my recommendation.
If you want a real step up from M Park Cafe, hit up Mama Lu's in Monterey Park.“
