I have always wanted to eat at a Bubba Gumps and I finally got my wish. There were so many things I wanted to try but I had to settle for 2 drinks and the Shrimp Heaven. To. Die. For. You have deep fried shrimp, tempura shrimp, and coconut shrimp all woth their own sauces. Mwah chefs kiss! Worth it!
This location is along Cannery Row which means your sharing the experience of vacation tourists. Not a problem for us. Bubba's is always busy so there's usually a wait. That's not a problem either as they'll text you when a table is ready and there's plenty of shops, open area for the kiddos to get out some energy, and of course the ocean to gaze at while you wait. I always love to eat here when visiting Monterey. The chowder is really good! I always love to get the hush pups as an appetizer as well. The views are great and service is always great! Jairo took care of us last time we were there and I can’t say enough about what great service we received!
