“I was starting to miss the flavors of home after weeks of eating American food. Luckily, my friend @Massimiliano Russomanno knew just the place to take me. Antonio Sessa's Made in Italy was a delightful surprise. Every bite transported me back to Italy. The food was prepared with such care and passion that it was clear this Italian Chef had a truly deep love for our cuisine. “This out of the way location should not stop you from checking it out. It is consistently an excellent meal with top-notch service. The menu contains something for everyone and the list of daily specials seems as lengthy as the menu itself. Thanks for another great meal!“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

“The banner said under new ownership, but all the style, food and excellent service remained with the veteran crew. The food was delicious and the service was personable and outstanding. The homey small shop feel made it feel like family dinner instead of a restaurant. Will return again.“

“It was a truly delightful experience, having lunch at Olivios Trattoria. It’s a cozy little Italian spot tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you—the food here rivals high-end Italian restaurants.
Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.
The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.

“Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to!
Everything from start to finish was amazing. The staff were super friendly and made us feel like part of the family. You can tell the food is made fresh with love — the pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce had incredible flavor.
The portions are generous, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is quick but never rushed. We tried the
Pizza, pasta and chicken parmesan and it was absolutely delicious.
Definitely coming back soon — this place is a hidden gem!“

“Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.
Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!

“We had Spumoni take away for dinner and it was awesome! If I closed my eyes you could convince me I was actually sitting in a fancy Italian restaurant. It was incredible! The super family meal was enough to feed our family of four and then some! I highly recommend the chicken piccata!“

“I want to start by saying the food was amazing and our waiter was even better. Lucas deserves a raise!!! He was very attentive, nice, and overall amazing. My mom doesn’t celebrate her birthday much but he made her feel so special and honestly made the experience even more fantastic. Even though my family asked for a gazillion things he was so nice and did everything that was asked. 100/10 would want to be in his section again. If you want an engaging and great waiter, Lucas is your guy.“

“We really enjoy Cedro because it feels like Italy. The food is authentic, scratch-made Italian. Like in most restaurants you'll find in Italy, their wines are chosen to compliment their food. Be sure you ask about the nightly specials. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's about you. The decor is comfortable but plain. Service is not rushed. Go there with others who like to converse.
