The ambience is great. Not as opulent as some of the Sonoma/Napa/ Paso Robles tasting rooms but beautiful grounds to enjoy a fabulous glass of their wine. But top of my list is the Family , my beautiful friend Kathy the matriarch, her daughter Jorja, and always smiling son-in law Kyle make you feel like you are part of their family. “Lovely winery in Lodi. Tasting is guided tour with 5 tastings that lasts about an hour. You start in the tasting room, then go outside to see the vineyard, then head to the barrel room, and finish in the tasting room. Great place to take people and learn about the history of wine in Lodi as this was one of the first wineries in the area and is still family-owned. Primarly Zinfandel-focused wines - tasting currently includes a chardonnary, a zinfandel rosé, two zinfandels, and a late harvest dessert zin. You get a glass to take home with you & they were willing to do a split tasting (one glass to be shared with two people).“

I called in prior to showing up, and my order was ready when I came in. The only thing I can say that may deter some is the outside of the establishment. I needed hot sauce for my appetizer. No one came around. I needed more water. No one came around. The water cup had lip marks on my wife's cup. They took care of it immediately. However, I felt we were owed something. Nothing was offered. What made our eating experience special was the dessert chef personally served us our delicious crepes with ice cream. Yum!!!“
