“Stopped for the first time yesterday and got the Cali burrito 🌯. It was delicious 😋. I liked it so much that I returned today and got the Quesabirria Tacos 🌮 for me and my wife got chicken quesadillas. The tacos were amazing. Ya’ gotta try this place. Yum 🤤“

“I’ve been here several times, usually with friends who eat here often or go for takeout. When someone says, “let’s go to the restaurant,” they know exactly what that means. La Fiesta Mexicana is well known in the surrounding neighborhoods, but perhaps a little under the radar in the balance of Stockton. Very diverse menu of delicious home-style Mexican food. Good selection of “mariscos y pescados”, seafood and fish. Fantastic home-made salsas! Last time I had a standard combination plate with succulent chili rellenos, and took home a tasty supreme shrimp burrito, all reasonably priced. Good food! I recommend this place!“

“Truck easily located of a main street in a parking next to a convenience store and a place that serves aquafresca and ice cream.

We ordered a grilled chicken burrito 🌯 and carne asada fries 🍟. Good portions on both the burrito and the fries. It was a a good burrito. Came with a couple of sauces, and one of them had a nice kick.
The flavor was good, but I can't say it made me want to come back for the same chicken burrito. Next time, I'd have to try an al pastor burrito to see. The carne asada fries were good, but I wish they used shredded cheese versus the nachos cheese. The steak pieces were flavorful. The fries were cooked well.

The workers were nice and professional. He mentioned that you can pre-order and gave us their business card, which was good to know. Several customers ordered from here during the short time that we waited, so it seems to be a frequently visited truck.

“Really, really good Mexican food that isn’t the conventional representation (which I also love) you find. The staff is great. The Modelos are cold. The chips and salsa are fresh and are also delicious. I’m working my way down their menu and I have not been disappointed. I recommend eating here often.“

“I’m a connoisseur of food. I eat all types of ethnic food. I’m not Hispanic. Somebody gave one star to this establishment and I do not agree. I have gone to this place at least once a week for the past seven years and what they serve is always consistently good. My favorites are dos tacos with lime Pico de Gallo and just assada with hot sauce Pico de Gallo, lime and more hot sauce burrito. Yummy ?!“

“I was up here for training all week long. I happened to find this place on google maps. It has a high rating, so i decided to give it a check out. Surprisingly, it was a food truck. So don't expect waiting in a restaurant like environment. They work really hard at their craft, and it shows. The food is very good and fresh. It's sophisticated because when you order, you're given a device that lights up and vibrates when your food is ready. Awesome find in stockton.“

Well, it would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t get terrible diarrhea after lol! ? I’m always eating spicy and ethnic food too, so it’s safe to say it’s probably this place. Still kinda worth it tho and I want to try it again.

We tried all these for around $20! (cash only btw):

* Pupusa

My partner didn’t like the way their Al pastor tastes, but luckily I did. Tacos are solid, my favorite was the carne asada! The burrito is hefty. The ingredients were all over the place tbh and it was tough to get through huge patches of only sour cream cheese LOL (not captured in my pics). And sadly a lot of space was taken up by tortilla folds too. But I liked it a lot.

The pupusa was unpleasant to me, but my partner ate it fine. Kinda tastes like a dry tamale. Very different from Cuban pupusas! Came with a little plastic wrap pouch of pickled pepper veggies and stuff.“

But today I had the absolute worst experience I had ever had with this truck. I ordered the same thing I usually always order there. The young woman...who I rarely ever see there took my order, she even repeated it back to me...I paid what I always pay for it. Then the cook calls out a totally different order...I corrected them and said that's not what I ordered. She gave me hecka attitude when I said that. I told her that this was what I usually always order...she gave me "I don't know what you usually order," And they both reacted badly towards me. At this point I was pretty heated at the attitude I received from them, I was extremely P.O'd and walked away leaving them with the money I had already paid. I snapped a few pictures of their truck to post all over social media. I happen to work right where they always park so I'll make sure to tell everyone I see that goes there what my experience was there. I guess they got their last tip ever from me since I left without getting my money. Now I absolutely don't trust eating from there...I'm not going to eat whatever tainted food they would give me in the future. Don't EVER go to this truck. They lost a really good customer. This one is parked on Frontier Way in Stockton right off of Arch Road. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW I went back and told them that I was going to post this all over the Internet and on social media. The girl who gave me attitude said in response.... We don't care!!! That says it all right there. NEVER GO TO THIS TRUCK!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! “Wow is all I can say.. the torta ahogada was fantastic, the flavor was exactly like a torta I had in Guadalajara. The salsa to bathe the torta in was perfect, the hot sauce to go along with it was very spicy but very good. Will definitely go back very soon! Gracias excelente la comida!! 🙏🏽“

“Decided to try after hearing the menudo was the best. Didn't wait long for food to come out. Menudo was in fact delicious. Smaller bowl for the price compared to other places that serve bigger bowls though. Enchilada combo was ordered for party member as well. Enchilada had bland taste that was better after adding salsa. Came with side of 2 tablespoons, maybe, of rice and beans and a small hard taco filled with mostly lettuce. Guess they ran out of rice? Two of us ordered the menudo which came with microwaved tortillas...and quickly ran out of them even so. Waitress wasn't attentive, even though we were the only ones eating there. Would definitely order the menudo again.“

I have always ordered the birria with mole and extra tortillas. I mostly order to go - but I have eaten a few times in the restaurant. All the interactions with the staff were pleasant - no complaints. The food has a unique flavor and was consistently good for me.

I was disappointed to find out that the owners were unable to renew the lease of the building and closed on April 30, 2025. They have relocated to 116 N Santa Cruz Ave, Modesto, CA 95354. I am attaching fotos with information on their new location as of May 1, 2025 - in case anyone is interested in visiting them in Modesto, CA. - or would like to know what happened.“
