Chicken Shops near Moraga, CA

“Love Lou's!! Its our go to every time we're in Moraga. Great buttermilk chicken sandwich and we love the pulled pork sandwich too. The curries/ramen are excellent!! They are identical to the former Noodle Theory Rockridge in Oakland. It's a must stop if you're in Moraga!“

“Great food and if you like hot, they’ve got it!“

“my partner and I went during the free slider event and it was hella busy !! While we did wait the expected amount of time for any type of free giveaway event, we were delighted and impressed to see such excellent customer service. You can just TELL that this team work really well together to provide super efficient service. And the food, incredible as always. That team deserves 2x the compensation that day istg. Incredible, amazed, satisfied, yay!!!! Thank you!!!“

“Great variety of tasty dishes on the menu and the food was delicious! I loved the “secret” specials - you need to ask to find out what they are. Fun cocktail options. And, all of the dessert options were awesome! My fav was the cheeseburger - YUM! I would definitely go back!“

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

“Man this place was a hit right off the bat. Chicken was not too spicy and very juicy. The bulgogi rice plate was amazing as well. I tried their pink passion cocktail and it reminded me of the starburst. Overall great choice you some 🔥 Korean fried chicken“

“I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to Raquel! From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, friendly, and super patient while I decided what to order. She explained the spice levels clearly and made sure I picked something I’d love.

The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was Raquel’s positive attitude and great customer service. She checked in to make sure everything was good and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.

Employees like Raquel are the reason I’ll definitely be coming back. Dave’s Hot Chicken is lucky to have her!“

“This location is conveniently located in the middle of downtown Oakland. I regularly get the fries and grilled cheese sandwich. I love the milkshakes and strawberry lemonade. They also have nice staff and good service. Shout out to the store manager and the person helping me at the register, Jerome! I will be back for my usual.“

“Tried it for the first time yesterday. We’ve walked by many times during lunch, thinking it was just another fast food chicken place…..finally gave it a try. It was excellent and staff was friendly. Chicken was fresh and crispy. They have many spice levels to choose from. Medium was plenty hot for me. The chicken tender was great, but the sliders were even better. Totally recommend this place!“

“Been going to Porky's Pizza since the late 60's“

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.“

“Now that its near me, i am in trouble.“

“I just recently went here for the first time and then next day I went my second time it’s a small me in but they nail everything on it the food is extremely fresh and the price are very good especially considering they do not skimp out in the portions at all very kind and fast Service highly recommended“

“Wonderful food and friendly service; indoor/outdoor dining“

“Great food and if you like hot, they’ve got it!“

“The fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The various chicken combos are good deals. There is a wait for orders because the food is not precooked and sitting under heat lamps. Parking can be difficult and the small parking lot fills up quickly. I will definitely be returning!“

“I'm going to El Pollo Loco for today because I'm going to order with a coupon a 12-piece leg and thigh family meal for today!“

“One of our favorite lunch spots when we visit the area. Staff are always so helpful and friendly ready to help you. Food is good, nice portions and able to eat dinner for the family. Always a stop for us at least once on our weekend trips to the area.“

“Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of fried chicken. I’d put Mr. Lee’s up against even some of the best of the bay like San Tung in SF. It really is that good! Get the Mr. Lee’s and Yang yum flavors! Go get some chicken and tell me I’m not lying here! The kimbap was also very yummy and perfect.“

“Love this restaurant! Best chicken around. Love the New salads they’re offering now. They’re all wonderful. The guacamole is made fresh each day and is delicious. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. Don’t get me started on their fresh chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend!“

“Caleb is the best! He works in walnut creek branch! I can honestly say this is one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. From the moment we walked in, he welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel truly valued. His professionalism, respect, and attention to every little detail were beyond exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and his positive attitude made the entire experience unforgettable. It’s very rare to meet someone who is not only amazing at their job but also such a wonderful human being. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what he does. His kindness and generosity touched me so much that I was emotional when it was time to leave. He turned an ordinary meal into a memory I’ll never forget. If there were a way to give more than five stars, I would do it without hesitation. The restaurant is incredibly lucky to have someone like him on the team. Thank you for your outstanding service, your beautiful personality, and for making our day so special. You are truly one of the best people I’ve ever met, and I will absolutely be coming back because of you. Highly, highly recommended!“

“I was looking for a salad somewhere other than Mixt and was directed here by a friend. Their salads are so good, full, fresh, and they're so flavorful you don't need much dressing at all. It was so good that I went back for lunch the very next day. I've only had their grilled chicken in a salad, but it's delicious and can be gluten free. Definitely worth the DoorDash delivery!!“

“First time trying Burmese food and it was delicious. The staff was so friendly and suggested great items. Will definitely be back.“

“This is my go to place for Mediterranean food in Walnut Creek. The many bowls are really delicious and a good choice for a nutritious meal. The flatbread are really great and fresh tasting with unusual toppings. The staff is great and very helpful. I can't say enough how much I love this place!“

“This is one of the best and cleanest spots in town. It has everything and anything you need and want, and let me tell you, they’ve added some handy things. They’ve added chopped cheese and more menu options, as well as a wider selection of coffee. And the food! I could sit here all day and rave about how much I loved it. The items they’ve added to the menu are simply delicious. So, let the food speak for itself. Once you come and check out Home Town Shop, you’ll be hooked!“

“I would like to appreciate Nour for her amazing work as a cashier at Chick-fil-A. The restaurant was very busy with a lot of customers, but she handled everyone perfectly and on time with a great attitude and professionalism.

I really appreciate her hard work and the way she treats customers with respect and kindness. This Chick-fil-A branch is getting better because of Nour. Great customer service and a great experience overall!“
