“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like the French Quarter Itself! From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner! We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth. Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone. Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. “This was my very first time dining at an Indian restaurant, and all I can say is—WOW! Everything about Finest Indian Cuisine truly lives up to its name. The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional from start to finish.

A special shout-out to Kash, our amazing server and host. We had no idea what to order, but she took the time to ask about our favorite proteins, veggies, spice levels, and flavors. Based on that, she guided us perfectly—her recommendations were spot-on! We enjoyed the Veg Samosa, Lamb Chops, Chicken Ghee Roast, Garlic Naan, and Rice—each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.

Portions were generous, the wait time was surprisingly short even though the restaurant was busy, and Kash checked on us at just the right moments—never intrusive, always attentive. The atmosphere had a warm, upbeat vibe that made the whole experience even better.

Don't tell no one. All of the toppings are hand chopped. Thick tasty lil pepperoni topping with excellent searing. The kinda cheese pizza you can also eat cold, but even better than that, reheated, holds its own the second time around. I walked in expecting a decent bowl. I walked out spiritually awakened. If sushi had a gym membership and went to therapy, it would look like this poke bowl.

The fish? Fresh like it just clocked out of the ocean.
The toppings? Crunchy, juicy, spicy, sweet – all fighting for attention in the best way possible.
The sauce? Sent from heaven. Probably bottled by angels. I got the spicy mayo and now I understand inner peace.

The staff? So nice I wanted to tip them my car. Super patient, even though I stood there like a confused toddler trying to build the perfect bowl. Zero judgment. Just good vibes and helpful suggestions.

Place is clean, and the portions? Let’s just say I waddled out happy.

This spot is criminally underrated. You ever eat something so good you stop mid-bite just to stare at it? That was me. Mid-bite. Existential crisis. Just sitting there like, “Why have I wasted time eating anything else?”

They have the best crust I have ever had and the toppings are superb. I love that they use red onions rather than white or yellow. I highly recommend them as both a foodie and a chef. I've had some good pizza, but I have yet to find such an amazing crust anywhere else. It's yeasty and well structured. I could swear they are utilizing an old dough proofing method by the taste and chewiness of the crust. The owner is awesome and I always have a great experience.“

“Everything we ordered tasted great. Wait was less than 5 mins around 11 am on a weekend for a part of 2, turnover was quick. Dishes came out within minutes of each other. The beef rolls were the perfect amount of crispy from the pancake and fresh Chinese parsley and green onion and just the right amount of sauce inside, unlike other places where it’s slathered on overpowering other flavors. The portion sizes are reasonable for price and would be great for individuals and great for the two of us who shared family style.“

The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. “Absolutely loved our visit to Ivy Juice Bar in La Verne. They serve açaí bowls, smoothies/shakes, fresh juices, and even some small bites. Everything is made with real ingredients you can actually taste; no artificial flavors or overly sweet syrups — just clean, honest, and tasty blends. The ambiance is also great. Inside is cool, clean, and inviting. Whether you’re dropping in after a workout, meeting a friend, or just looking for a place to chill for a bit, you won't be disappointed in stopping here.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome, which set the tone for the entire experience. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They are super kind and helpful with recommendations. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they’re serving. They even had a poster in front asking what you were grateful for and left markers for customers to write their answers. It's the little things like this that set small businesses apart.

We tried the Machata, Owner's Bowl, and one more drink, but we forgot the name of it (it had spinach). All were fantastic!

The Machata (matcha meets horchata) was amazing - creamy, refreshing, with the perfect balance of earthy matcha, cinnamon, and light sweetness. This one really hit the spot. If you're a fan of matcha or looking to try something different, don’t skip this!

The Owner's Bowl (açaí and coconut base, granola, oats, peanut butter, strawberry, blueberry, banana, coconut and agave). Wow — just wow! It was visually stunning and absolutely loaded with fresh, vibrant ingredients - from the fruit to the granola on top. It was the kind of bowl that makes you feel good about what you're eating, but also totally satisfies your cravings.

I had been meaning to come in for some time and support them because I had been following their Instagram page since I had been to their other location and I have seen them go through a couple of break-ins and other setbacks at this new location, including recent construction in the parking lot that affected foot traffic and, of course, business. Because the staff is made up of a lot of young adults who depend on this income, the owner got on social media and requested for customers to come in and showed the route you could take from the street, through the construction, to easily find their front door - so she wouldn't have to cut hours for her staff. This owner REALLY cares about her employees.

Overall, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of small business you genuinely want to support — great people, excellent products, and a real sense of community. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. If I could afford it I would probably go here every day. So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend.“

“I have known about Nancy‘s for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May’s is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server’s first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It’s in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don’t have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way.

For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.“
