“Dining here is like eating with family. The short rib ragu is so good we have to force ourselves to try something else. The current scallop and shrimp appetizer has the most delicious lemon butter sauce we had to ask for their homemade bread just to soak up the sauce after eating all the shellfish.“

“They have happy hour through 6pm daily which is good to know. Cocktails were good as well the pizza. The only we had is the clams linguine came in red sauce instead of white, server said he didn't hear it, realized he didn't even repeat the order or the option, was giving it a try even we hate seafood pasta in red sauce, just like you are having red wine with seafood. Pasta was over cooked and salty. The clams were fresh. Waited a while for bill even the restaurant was only 1/3 full. Not a pleasant visit compared to last time during thanksgiving. It was full house but service was quick and food was flawless.“

A little Hot Honey and extra fig preserve allowed us to add a custom touch as each desired. Can’t even complain about the wait for a closer Slice House, because I know Tony Respects the Craft too much to rush any location before they are up to the highest standards. Bravo!“

I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. “Terrific restaurant with lovely menu. Within Eataly on the top floor. You can park on the roof and enter on the top floor if Eataly and then make your way to the restaurant or enter from within the Mall. Live eating outside …. Everything including the bread and butter are fabulous and so fresh!“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

Vina Enoteca is one of those rare restaurants where everything—from the food to the atmosphere—feels intentional and quietly extraordinary. Housed in the beautifully restored Stanford Barn, the space itself is stunning: high arched ceilings, warm brick walls, and an open kitchen where you can actually watch fresh pasta being made by hand.

The menu is classic Italian but elevated. We tried the spinach tagliatelle with ragù and the burrata with seasonal vegetables—every bite was rich with flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The wine list is equally impressive, with thoughtful regional pairings that feel more curated than trendy.

Service was warm but unintrusive. You can tell this team takes hospitality seriously without being overly formal.

Bonus points for the market inside the restaurant! We left with a bag full of fresh pasta, house-made sauces, and a bottle of wine we’d sampled during dinner. It’s rare to find a place that does dine-in and take-home this well.

Highly recommend for a date night, small group dinner, or even just grabbing a bottle and a pizza to go. Palo Alto is lucky to have this spot.“

“We are visiting from Ohio and had not been to A Bellagio in 10 years. Our experience was fantastic! The atmosphere has been enhanced with the remodeling that has been done. The ambience was lovely. Our server did a great job of making sure we were comfortable at all times and that we had everything we needed. The food was fabulous. We started with the Caesar salad. My husband chose the veal as his entree and I had the filet. Each one was prepared perfectly and the accompanying vegetables cooked to perfection. We each decided to choose the Tiramisu for dessert. The servings were so large that we could have shared one portion. We highly recommend A Bellagio!“

“So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

Mains took a while, but without us asking, the server brought a free appi (burrata, which was excellent). I really enjoyed the eggplant parm, and my date enjoyed her tortellini. “My wife and I came here for a light meal and were not disappointed. They serve pizza by slice with any toppings you request, which is a great plus (as we were not especially hungry). We just ordered two veggie slices and a soda. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The pizza was delicious and had a well done crust and arrived within five minutes. The service was extremely friendly and the gentleman who took our order was kind and friendly. It is also great that this place is halal when going with friends who are Muslim.“

“(May 2024) I got takeout Meat Ravioli with Marinara sauce as well as take-home meat lasagna for a future meal. I liked the ravioli. I thought most of the lasagna was good but I didn't like the bell pepper in there! First time getting a lasagna with bell pepper in it.
