“I visited this convenient location by myself on a sunny Saturday morning. Parking was easy, there was no line to order coffee, but most tables were taken, with many people sitting outside and chatting. The atmosphere was relaxing. WiFi worked connection was a little slow.“
“Kind of the new tech meeting place for best of the silicon valley nerds to brush elbows. Spacious, Lots of outdoor seating. ADA compliant with 2 parking spots near front of store. Staff was very accommodating as well as warm and friendly. Busy around lunch and a steady flow the rest of the time.Interior is a techie vibe. A few minutes walk from Google.“
“Always a great experience at this Starbucks inside Safeway! Despite the Friday rush yesterday the staff remained friendly and efficient. The baristas created a welcoming atmosphere, and the store was spotless. I’d definitely recommend it, though a seating area would make it perfect!“
“This Starbucks is my favorite! Never had a bad customer service experience. They go ABOVE and BEYOND to make customers happy. Service with a smile is great but when the smile comes from the heart & is supported by compassion it makes everything better. The staff can help a bad day seem better and great coffee seem amazing.“
“Stopped by on my way back from Trader’s Joe nearby. Always find it slow in service considering the fact that they have at least 3 staff (today, 4 visible with less than 10 customers in the store). Today, ordered a drink and the staff at the counter didn’t know whether the drink is on the menu. In general, I recommend the others visiting other Starbucks branch with more efficient and friendly staff unless they are shopping in the San Antonio Center and need a break nearby.“
“My apologies for not remembering the drink or young ladies name! My wife ordered a specific tea with a special request that was granted by the barista. My wife stated that it was the best tea she had ever had from Starbucks! The young lady was so awesome and provided spectacular service!“
“Super easy to give 5 stars to this Starbucks location! There always quick, very friendly to all their customers, and form close relationships with their regulars. I notice employees often going above and beyond to greet customers and make sure they have a quick and delicious experience.“
“In this area, this is the best Starbucks to get work done. Mix of large and small tables, plenty of outlets. Most importantly the clientele and workers are also there to work and respect the atmosphere, unlike other Starbucks locations where younger workers act like they’re at a happy hour. I hope it doesn’t fall victim to the recent remodels that have ruined other Starbucks locations.“
“Some locations become inconsistent, and I come to Starbucks for consistency. I get the same thing all the time, a grande mocha. Recently it tasted bad enough that I wouldn't drink it. Also there were no saracha packets with my burrito. 😫
I do have to say I really like the renovations and it feels more open and airy. The new chairs outside are nice and I want to sit outside and enjoy them, but the last two times I came away smelling of wet dog. Fortunately the smell washed out of my coat, but who wants to wash their winter coat every time they sit outside the Starbucks. I think the materials the chairs are made of must retain smells. Maybe that's why outdoor chairs are often made of metal for a reason, easier to clean or sanitize.
The best advantage of this place is that the App is better than any of the other coffee places IMO. Super easy to use. I try to time it right and my coffee is always ready. So props to staff for getting that right. I don't know why the drink was so bitter and unsweetened, but it was on time. I was running errands and was already away from the location when I discovered the problems.
Kid-friendliness: Not particularly kid friendly. But, they do have food/drink items for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible.“
