“Arrived in the later afternoon for a lunch/happy hour and were seated right away as it wasn't too busy. The basil martinis were very good as were the rolls we selected. Very tasty fresh fish and everything is beautifully presented. Special shout out for the steamed shrimp gyozas - they are perfection! Servers were friendly and food arrived promptly. Always a nice dining experience.“

“I did not expect this when I walked in . Service was reallygood. The sushi was exceptional. We started with tako salad. Thinly sliced pieces that were so tender, with lightly pickled delicious cucumbers chunks on a bed of seaweed salad. Very good! This was followed by saba nigari, which was generous slices of fish that had been lightly torched on pressed rice. It was phenomenal! The light char flavor was an unexpected pleasure. Finally, we had a chefs choice 10 piece selection. Very generous slices and inventive combinations.
All are at very good prices. I can't wait to return“

“Just celebrated at Ember over the weekend and wow, this was an absolutely PERFECT dining experience, so much so that we requested the chef come to our table so we could thank her. We ordered the Mosaic Roll which was like no sushi roll I've ever tasted and was magnificent, the caesar with carpaccio which was delicious, filet migon (medium rare) perfection, and then a lava cake that may have been the best dessert I have had in the last year or two. Thank you Ember! People should know about this restaurant even with all the good ones in Napa. I actually can't remember a more satisfying dinner in Napa, including some of the more well-known ones (no I haven't been to French Laundry but have been to many others).“

“We’ve been dining here for the past 5 years. Food has always been excellent. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Kat is usually the person that serves us and she has always been great. Super relatable and always giving us her grounded experiences. Food has been excellent but we’ve noticed the care and presentation go up within the past year. We’re super basic and as long as the food and service is good, we’re fine with it. The extra care to their dishes has been noticeable and really adds to the experience. We’re really loving the direction the place has been taking this past year and we’re happy to see the improvements.“

“Sushi Chef Eddie outdid himself last evening. My husband and I each enjoyed one of his famous creations using the freshest fish, avocado, cucumber and sesame and unagi as a topping. These rolls outshine anything we have had at any sushi restaurant. To finish off Chef Eddie prepared a handroll with fresh crab, avocado, ahi and sesame sauce. Literally "to die for!" We had ordered two, but wantedto share this creation with the General Manager Doug who always ensures that we are taken care of. Doug was very impressed with this creation as well! We had exraordinary table service by Server Will who doubles as a great bartender. Will has always been so attentive, but not overly so. The perfect combination. This made for such a perfect evening. Thanks to all.“
