“I enjoyed myself ??? The co-owner was awesome as she moved around the crowd and spoke to ppl and seen her help clear tables ? The dj on Friday night was dope, had me dancing ?? The bartender (white dude with long hair ??) he has stellar customer service ?? met friendly people and staff! I like how they have a smoking area where you could still hear the music dead on , but they could have dimmer lights in the smoking section coz it bothered my eyes ???? I didn't get to try the food but I look forward to doing so soon!! Security was on it, great communication skills amongst each other and they paid attention all around; I felt safe.. I don't think anyone would mess with ??. Bathroom was very clean and the long mirror A+ ???. I ordered patron and redbull, I suggest they keep their redbulls chilled since a customer like myself orders the entire can ? price was decent!! I went earlier so parking was great for me but probably not for the late heads ?“

“John our server was the most attentive server I’ve had in a while. He made sure our appetizers were served first before the main entree. Unfortunately they didn’t have the passion fruit lemonade I liked but he went above and beyond to double check if they had it and offered an alternative. Corey and Meghan were also attentive & made sure to check up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back & hopefully John can be our server again!“

“Been there many times. It's quite close to my business. My staff all like it. They have parking right outside. There's not a lot of parking but there's parking right there. There's a little coffee stand next door too if you like that. If you're in the neighborhood it's definitely worth a try. It's even worth trying if you're from far away.“

“Bayside Landing has such a fun, casual neighborhood atmosphere and a menu with a surprising amount of variety. It has that comfortable local gastropub feel where you can grab a drink, watch a game, share some food, and easily hang out for a while.

We started with the crispy pickle fries and also tried the teriyaki plate, fish and chips, pear and Manchego salad, and mac & cheese pizza. The teriyaki plate is their top-selling dish, and after trying it, we could see why. We also learned that even British customers regularly rave about their fish and chips, which feels like a pretty solid endorsement! The pear and Manchego salad was a great lighter contrast to some of the richer dishes, while the mac & cheese pizza was indulgent comfort food and one of the most unique things we tried.

The service was another highlight of our visit. The husband-and-wife manager duo were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and personable, and really made us feel taken care of throughout our meal. That kind of hospitality fits the friendly neighborhood atmosphere perfectly.

I got stopped at the door for a weird reason but because of it I would give 10 stars. I was asked what I was getting and doing because the gentleman noticed I had my kids with me, he said he couldn't allow me to go to the bar but I could order food. You can be in and out quick but the place does pack up on the weekends so plan ahead.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“Came in on a whim around midnight with a few friends after closing my bar. The bartender was very sweet and made us some pretty decent shots. The draft beers were ice cold and priced well. Quite a few people for a week night. We shot some pool and stayed till last call. I hadn’t been there in over 15 years. Completely forgot what a great dive bar it was and has always been. I’ll definitely be coming back more often.“

“I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

“Your normal local dive bar.Crowd can be a little so so, however tends to not ever be packed.There was always some sort of celebration that would have a potluck, they were always friendly enough to ask you if you wanted to join.We would go for our quite date nights. Round 8 ish to 10 maybe 11. Pool, cheap drinks, interesting people watching and comfy clothes never stood out.“

“My wife and I stumbled upon Majorette while exploring Rolando Village. It looks like a dive bar, but it has a really good beer selection and great food. I'm a fried chicken sandwich snob, and it doesn't get much better than their fried chicken thigh sando. The only real option for my wife (who is vegetarian) was the grilled cheese sandwich. While it was delicious, it would be nice if they would at least offer an Impossible burger substitute for their smash burger. I also wish they were open for lunch instead of just dinner, but such is life. We will definitely be back soon!“

“This is the first time I’ve been somewhere quite like this. It’s a classic brewery and restaurant but it’s set in a massive space with multiple seating sections with large, excellent quality TVs. Beyond burger was a little uninspired but that’s my fault for getting something uninspiring. The beer was good, especially the coconut haze, and the spot looks like it would be electric during a major sporting event. I ended up watching curling. :-)“

I had surgery on my Right Knee and still not that comfortable sitting at bench tables. no problem here they sat us at a table with both chairs and bench. Now that is great customer service. “This club is tucked away downtown and I kind of enjoyed it myself. A lot of couples came in, dressed in similar clothes to one another and we’re cutting a rug on the dance floor. Line dancing couples - classics of R&B . The drinks were good. Had a great time.“
