“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. “Our nephew and his wife took us there today for breakfast. I had the Breakfast Burrito with brisket, and it was sensational! I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. They also had a good variety of drink options. I chose one of their seasonal drinks that's like a pumpkin cheesecake, and it was so similar to an actual pumpkin cheesecake!“

“Toppers Pizza in Oxnard has a fantastic location right by the pier with a beautiful bay view. The place is clean, and both the service and atmosphere were outstanding. They have a great selection of salads, and we really enjoyed the food. The pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the variety of toppings was impressive. It's a perfect spot for a family outing or a casual meal with friends. Highly recommended!“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

“I love Mom and Papa joints like this one. They have great breakfast here, in my opinion. The flavors are excellent, they take pride on their cooking and that makes my food soul so happy. I tried their chile verde chicken enchiladas breakfast, it was toped off with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and beans .. wonderful.. you guys should try it for your selfs, it will make you food soul so happy. “I found this shop scanning GMaps. But as I was driving thru an industrial park I began to think they led me off course. So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.

But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.“

“The best brewery in the 805 and it's not even close. By far the tastiest beer, a menu that is always changing with delicious new options, amazing vibes, and such a great staff.

Casa Agria is also very much about the culture in the 805. So many awesome events happen here, like car shows from Daily Drivers Inc, Cars and Craft (think cars and coffee, but beer), cornhole tournaments, concerts, trivia, poetry slams, and much more. And ALL of it is always a great time.

Get to your reservation a little early and enjoy the surrounding historical buildings gathered from around Oxnard into a Heritage Center. Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. “My husband and I visited Lester family wines for the first time and was completely impressed by the wines. We liked each wine we tried which is rare for us but truly very nice wines. The owners are fabulous - so warm and welcoming. Felt a kinship to them immediately. We would highly recommend everyone to try them. You won’t be disappointed.“
