I think to myself “what the hell, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had came off a cart with three wheels and two pedals.”I went in. Not impressed, but I figured I’d ask anyway. At this point, I’d settle for any tacos for the big day.The hostess spoke English really well. Not a good omen. When she took my questions to the cook though (who later I find out is the owner), he clearly doesn’t speak a lick of English. Faith restored.Shocked when I find out they’re willing to cater for me. Awesome. Deal done. Out of a grim curiosity, I ordered dinner there.The tacos were amazing. Not only were the meat and tortillas on point, but the onions and cilantro were FINELY chopped. When I say fine, I mean super fine. It’s clear someone who loves their craft is preparing this food.The next day I show up to pick up 80 tacos. I’m a tad disappointed when I’m there ten minutes early and find that my food is already in tin containers, but if I’m being honest, it’s just unreasonable to expect otherwise.I get the food home and serve. Damnit. These F*****G tacos are fantastic. They’re just as amazing as the fresh ones I got the night before.They’ve got two salsas. An orange one and a green one. You can tell they’re home made and even the mild one is hotter than heck. I love it. My little white niece had to ice her lips, and went back for more five minute later. We laughed.I’ve found my new taco place. Taco Padre is amazing, and they’ve permanently earned my business.Thank you so much guys. There are so many Mexican restaurants around here, I’m sorry it took me a year and a half to find you. You’re it though. To have and to hold, ‘till death do us part.“

“I buy their tamales at the Tuesday farmers market at CSUF. I find it insane that they have to drive an hour to get there... but I'm thankful because the tamales are super delicious. 6 Dollars per tamale, and they're a good size that can fill you up with only 1-2. The beef tamale is my favorite. It's a bit spicy, but the flavor is so good along with the outside. The outside bread (?) is my favorite part, somehow. It's very soft and somewhat moist.

I like to share some with my cousin after class. Even after sitting around for the whole day, it is so good and soft after a minute or two of mircowaving.

I've bought from their stall multiple times. It is very addicting! They also offer you salsa if you prefer that with your tamales.“

“Wow. I saw someone's review with pictures of the food and had to stop.

At first I walked in and was underwhelmed by the atmosphere. No decorations or board menu.

My family and I ordered.
2 burritos ; breakfast burrito and a fish and shrimp burrito.
1 pastor tacos with birria on top.

There is a salsa bar and it is bomb! As a Mexican who grew up with home-cooked meals, I can say that the salsa was above par compared to the places in the area.
As for the food. I don't think I have been my family devour their burritos so fast. Thwu were so good they didn't put them down. Plus the sizes are enormous! 1 burrito is definetely share worthy.
I got the nachos and it was the same great quantity. Shareable. Very delicious. These are not typical American melted cheese type of nachos. They are Mexican nachos with pico de gallo, frijoles, guacamole. Very good. I had to take mine home
I'm excited to come back again and try the seafood menu.
