“If you like Panda Express, this is the restaurant that started it all. Food is much better here, and there is a much larger selection than Express. Friendly staff, and great portions. You will not leave hungry.
From the wontons and paper chicken, to the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. We usually go with at least 5 of us, and 3 plates feeds us all. With a couple of apps, of course.

We have come multiple times and every time is great. Staff is always so friendly. Came on Fathers Day w/ the hubby & sat at the bar. Our bartender Lexi was killin it. “Dynamite fried fish at this little spot, located in a strip mall in Sylmar. I ordered red snapper and catfish, and both items were delicious--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked and served up piping hot. I particularly enjoyed the catfish. Outstanding flavor, very fresh tasting! So good! And the proprietor of this business is really friendly and welcoming. Very good food and very good vibes! I will be back.“

“Came here cause I was craving something delicious and spicy! I told the server I wanted something with Lamb that was very spicy. He recommended the Lamb Vindaloo. He then asked me if i wanted it American spicy or Indian spicy. The look in his eye when he said Indian spicy scared me so I said American. When he brought out the meal, he also brought a side of the Indian spicy sauce for me just incase. This food was delicious! I added the Indian spices almost immediately and was very please with the level of spiciness. If you want great Indian food at a great price, come here! Also, don’t do what I did and wait for a check hahahaha. You go up to the counter to pay. Oh yea, one order of the Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Naan and Rice is enough for 2 full meals!“

“This was our first time trying Fish Grill and it truly was a fantastic experience. Shout out to Julian, an employee, who helped take our order at the kiosk when there was a bit of a wait at the register. We dined in and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we need. 10/10 recommend the food here. The fish, sides, and clam chowder were even better than some of the more upscale restaurants we’ve tried previously. Mariscos Camanera Estilo Nayarit (a food truck) is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic, fresh seafood in LA. From the moment we tried their ceviches, my friend and I were both blown away by the incredible freshness of the fish, shrimp and veggies- fresh, zesty, and bursting with pure ocean flavor that tasted like it was caught just moments before.

The shrimp ceviche tostadas were nothing short of spectacular. Each bite was a perfect balance of tender, citrus-marinated shrimp and a kick of heat from the perfectly minced jalapeños and serrano chilis. The spice level was spot-on - present but not overwhelming, allowing the natural sweetness of the shrimp to shine through.

The fish ceviche was impeccably prepared and cooked to perfection in fresh lemon juice that brought out the most vibrant flavors. The texture was perfectly tender, fresh, and incredibly clean-tasting. This place truly understands the art of ceviche, and it shows in every single bite.

For $8 each and both options loaded with veggies and flavor, you get a wonderfully nutritious meal on the go. The cook was friendly too and kindly waved as he handed us our food and said bye.“

This restaurant has the layout, and feel of Japanese restaurants from days gone by. However, at the same time, it's very modern and stylish.

I entered with my Mom, and we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very friendly and had a great personality. It turns out he was very knowledgeable as well. I ordered the Salmon Shioyaki Entree, and Mom ordered the Miso Marinated Black Cod Entree. The Entrees come with Soup & Salad. The salad was subtly flavorful. With the greens, vegetables, crunchy topping, and dressing combining to create a delicious starting salad. The Miso Soup was very flavorful, and well balanced. They were both wonderful ways to start a meal. My Salmon Shioyaki was incredible. The Shio (Salt), enhances the natural flavor of the Salmon, and helps in browning, and creating crispy tasty salmon skin. The flesh was firm, yet tender and flaky. Just a squeeze of lemon, and it was perfection exemplified. The accompaniments, and rice, along with the delicious mixed Vegetables made it a complete meal. I had a taste of the Miso Black Cod. The glazed Miso flavor was undeniable, as the Black Cod melted in my mouth, ending in deliciousness.

A Japanese meal embodies that the sum of all parts, equals the whole. The Entrees here are examples of that philosophy.

The prices here are well worth it, considering what you get. The whole staff here is very friendly. Our server helped make our dining experience fantastic. We hope to see him again. We will be back,“

“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

“We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“
