“Hole in the wall bakery has some pretty good pies. I ordered the Jamaican pie l, chicken mushroom pie and meatball sandwich and it was filling and good! The bread on the sandwich is light and the sauce wasn't too salty which is how I like it The cookies are good too!

“This is my fifth time stopping by Camacho’s Bakery, and it’s hands down the best, freshest bread I’ve found in many, many years. Every time I come, the quality is consistently excellent.

There’s almost always a line, which tells you everything you need to know—it’s worth the wait. The location itself is very small, but don’t let that fool you. What they lack in space, they more than make up for in the quality of their bread.

“The Baby Shower cake I ordered was exactly what I requested. The cake sponge was moist. The fresh strawberry filling was not too sweet. The strawberries were ripe and firm. The party guests enjoyed the cake and many attendees asked about the bakery. Dennis was patient about my many questions and concerns. He and his son are friendly, professional and helpful. “Tasteful cakes made the cake for our wedding 5.16.26. Everything was wonderful from the cake tasting samples to the online consultation . And I must say it was a beautifully done cake and even more it tasted amazing! So much so that we received several compliments on how good it was. Even had some comments stating that it was the BEST wedding cake that they have ever tasted. We opted for the Lemon Raspberry filling, which my wife and I highly recommend!!! “I grew up in NY and have eaten bagels my entire life. I recently went here to try their bagels. I bought a half dozen and was somewhat surprised by the price, $12.50. That to me was very expensive. The staff wasn’t very friendly. All of this would have been fine if the bagels were good. They were not. I have never eaten bagels this hard. I could barely chew them. I will definitely not be returning and will tell my friends as well. Don’t waste your time or money here.“

Wow, talk about a lucky find! I was craving pan dulce but short on time, and stumbled upon La Colimense Bakery. What a charming little gem! They have everything tamales, a huge variety of pan dulce... it's like a Mexican donut shop, but way better. And how is it better? Well, the pan dulce is just as delicious as any donut, but with less sugar and (probably) less fat. (Though, let's be honest, who's counting when you want a treat?!) Seriously, you have to check this place out. It's absolutely awesome. Two thumbs up for the supreme quality – there's no other way to put it. Just a heads-up: they prefer cash or Zelle (no debit/credit), which caught me off guard. But honestly, it's so worth it for what you get!“

“Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.“

“Such a charming coffee shop with some of the most amazing pastries I’ve had in a long time. Everything looked beautiful in the display case and tasted even better — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting, which made the experience even sweeter. Perfect spot to relax with a coffee, catch up with a friend, or treat yourself to a quiet moment. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their delicious pastries!“

“Yesterday night it was 9pm and they were closing and my kid wanted pretzel bites. They at the counter just gave her the cup and did not charge. It was warm and soft pretzel still. So they were great and I’d go to them again when at the mills.“

“I stopped by Mr. Baker in the late afternoon and ordered a caramel iced latte, lemon bar, almond croissant, coffee cake, and a dog cupcake.

Overall, everything tasted good. The caramel iced latte was refreshing, the lemon bar had a great balance of sweetness and citrus, and even my dog enjoyed the cupcake. The bakery has a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent selection of pastries and treats.

One thing that immediately stood out was how clean and inviting the shop is. I really love what they did with the building. The modern renovation gives it a fresh, bright, and welcoming appearance. In an area that has struggled with blight and homelessness, Mr. Baker has created a space that feels cared for and uplifting. It’s clear that a lot of effort was put into improving both the business and the surrounding neighborhood, and I genuinely appreciate that. Thank you, Mr. Baker, for investing in our community and helping make this part of Riverside a little better. For that reason alone, I strongly support you as a local business.

My only criticism is that the coffee cake and almond croissant were a bit hard by the time I visited. For comparison, I personally prefer the almond croissant at Lee’s Sandwiches because theirs tends to be soft and more flavorful.

That said, to be fair, Mr. Baker makes their baked goods in-house, and these items are at their best when they’re freshly made earlier in the day. Based on the quality and flavor, I would definitely return and try them again during the morning hours.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable visit with good coffee, tasty pastries, a clean environment, and a business that is clearly investing in the local community. I look forward to coming back.“

“Would love to give them 5 stars but every time I go in I end up getting bread that feels like it might be a few days old, nothing wrong with it just a bit harder than the bread baked the same day. If they would let customers know what bread is from a previous day it would be awesome, I go to bakeries for freshly baked bread not for day old bread“

“I like ordering the Birria burrito. They bake their bread here. Used to come often as it was close to my old worksite. They have a variety of different Mexican dishes to choose from. Next door is the grocery store & meat market. They do add a fee if you do not pay with cash.“

Just delivered some liquid yeast to this location, very easy to get to, but was a bit confused where I should enter the property with my truck. Well it's pretty simple, just come into the main entrance where the gate is with the 'slow' caution signs. I was apprehensive about doing that because of all the employee cars parked there, but that's the way in.

The backing was a little awkward, but very doable. You'll have to back up in alignment with the white trailer beside the building, as close to the curb as possible. It may not be too difficult when the facility gets new hoses, the gentleman here told me that another driver drove off with his longer hose and damaged it, so now he only has short ones.

Everyone was friendly and courteous, they'll require you to shut your engine off, but you have access to their restroom..... Very easy folks to work with, thank you.“
