“Recently found this wonderful place on a recommendation of a new friend. We live in Granite Bay, so don't get over to this area often, but will make it a trip worthwhile from here on out. The owners are a delight, kind, friendly, attentive and serve some of the best Vietnamese dishes we have had.

“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.

Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.

Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.“

“Finally got around to try out this place. Their sandwiches are ? we tried the Smoked Char Siu Brisket with the Red Curry Aioli sauce and the Smoked Five-Spice Chicken Teriyaki with the Thai Basil Aioli, both were super delicious and nice & spicy. We also got their cookies and would highly recommend the Sugarcane Passion Fruit drink. Olga’s service was ?. Will definitely have to go back to try some more!!“

“Really one of the best Chinese restaurants in Rocklin! Always large portions and the flavors are amazing! So happy they have added pork fried rice, and honey walnut prawns on the menu. We tried the new crispy garlic chicken wings the flavor was good however there was two much batter and the wings were soggy! This is our go to place!!“

“Our first time trying this restaurant, we Ordered it to go. I ordered the r1 and added chili oil to make it spicy. It was so delicious I forgot to take a picture before finishing. The broth is so rich, creamy and has a hearty umami flavor. The pork is well seasoned and melts in your mouth. The noodles are perfectly chewy. My husband and I usually go to the bay area for good ramen, but I am so glad we found this hidden gem. We will be returning to this location.“

Food: dined in for a small zucchini noodle garlic cream bowl. It was good. Only got 4 pieces of shrimp.

Service: order at the counter type of place. Staff were friendly.

“I enjoyed my meal, my family unfortunately didn't like their dishes. Weird taste, even though my mom ordered something similar to mine the broth tasted much differently. I will definitely come back, the ramen was warm and delicious. And this place sells Stella Artois Cidre, I can't even find it in stores around here! The service was kind, I would like it if they kept customers updated on the food delays though.“

“Went here the first time back in 2016 and didn’t get a chance to come back til yesterday. Quality was still as excellent as it was the first time 8 years ago. One of the best broths I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. If you’re ever in Sacramento and love ramen, this is the place!“

The dining room is clean and comfortable. They have good space between the tables. They also have excellent customer service. The food is ready quickly. I love the taste of the food. However, I don't know if they're a little overused with MSG or if the seasoning has MSG. I am very thirsty for the rest of the day after my meal. I hope they can pay attention! My family enjoyed our meal, and their outstanding service was excellent.

XLB and Siu Mai are high quality with very thin skin. Almost overwhelmingly heavy on the five spice. Beef and broccoli had a lot of garlic (yay!), tender and no weird gristly meat, entree portion in the smaller side. The most citrusy honey walnut shrimp I’ve ever had. The lemon flavor was welcomed.

Love the beautiful jewel tone paint color on the inside. Atmosphere is cozy and casual in a romantic kind of way.

I was expecting a flaky, puff pastry-like pancake (like the kind they had at Young’s in South Sac), but this beef roll was wrapped in a tortilla. I’d pass next time.“

appetizer + 2 entrees + drink was $40 +tip. we both had leftovers for lunch today. it's literally cheaper to eat here than fast food joints nowadays, and the food is so much better and better for you (depending on what you order of course).

They hit the mark on almost everything only I can "complain about " is they lack side dishes but I'm not mad after everything I eat I didn't miss them only made a note when they brought them out after that I was in food nirvana. The Pork fried rice had NO Pork pieces in it at all, same for the Pork fried Egg Rolls. The dishes were cooked well just missing the Pork pieces. The rice had good flavor but also had dry spots of just white rice. The Mongolian had yellow onions and not green chalets but the flavor was there.
