“I have had some delicious Vietnamese food, but this place had the best noodle bowl I have ever had... which I don't say lightly. It was too hot for pho, so I had a vermicelli bowl. The pork was a unique flavor with crisp edges, the veggies were fresh and flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect texture. The water even had lemon and cucumber in it - so refreshing.

Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was very calming and the service was outstanding.

This is my new favorite place.“

“Finally got around to try out this place. Their sandwiches are ? we tried the Smoked Char Siu Brisket with the Red Curry Aioli sauce and the Smoked Five-Spice Chicken Teriyaki with the Thai Basil Aioli, both were super delicious and nice & spicy. We also got their cookies and would highly recommend the Sugarcane Passion Fruit drink. Olga’s service was ?. Will definitely have to go back to try some more!!“

“4 stars because not everything on the menu is served anymore and the Yelp pics helped us decide to eat here but disappointed that the menu is limited (40 min drive). Good service, space is clean. Spring rolls could use half the amount of noodles they put in and honey ginger tea is all sugar. Overall ok food but won't come back.“

“Wonderful small place to get ramen. I had the spicy garlic ramen and it actually had a kick to it. Please be patient as everything is made to order. The staff had a lot of pep in their step and we're constantly checking on it.

“This is a mom & pop restaurant located near Chinatown. Service was friendly and prompt.
The pork banh mi was my favorite. Pork was super flavorful.
The beef combo pho was also good. Soup was a little sweeter than I’m used to. May a little too much msg but overall good portions and tasty bites.
The chicken and shrimp pho was a similar broth. Again a little sweet but good all around.
Toilets are reached by going through the kitchen so it’s really as Mon and pop as you get. Definitely worth the stop for some Vietnamese food.“

I will definitely come back, the ramen was warm and delicious. And this place sells Stella Artois Cidre, I can't even find it in stores around here! “Really one of the best Chinese restaurants in Rocklin! Always large portions and the flavors are amazing! So happy they have added pork fried rice, and honey walnut prawns on the menu. We tried the new crispy garlic chicken wings the flavor was good however there was two much batter and the wings were soggy! This is our go to place!!“

“My favorite ramen place and I always keep coming back. While their menu may be more limited than other ramen places, I have not found a place that can beat their broth! I find the broth and noodle texture truly makes the ramen, and they nail both every time. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and i love the taiyaki ice cream for dessert. My only gripe is that i don't care for their chashu pork and usually go without it, but I'm very picky about meat, so do with that as you will haha.

Truly the best ramen place in Sacramento. Been coming here for many, many years and will continue to do so.“

“Stopped by here after climbing in Tahoe. Really hit the spot with the galbitang as it wasn't too heavy and it consisted of a savory yet delicate soup. They had a variety of banchan (side dishes) as well that really complemented the main dishes. Some of the main dishes and beers were a bit pricey as I've seen it available for 2/3 the price. But since I didn't order those, 5 stars for me with wonderful service.“

XLB and Siu Mai are high quality with very thin skin. Almost overwhelmingly heavy on the five spice. Beef and broccoli had a lot of garlic (yay!), tender and no weird gristly meat, entree portion in the smaller side. The most citrusy honey walnut shrimp I’ve ever had. The lemon flavor was welcomed.

Love the beautiful jewel tone paint color on the inside. Atmosphere is cozy and casual in a romantic kind of way.

I was expecting a flaky, puff pastry-like pancake (like the kind they had at Young’s in South Sac), but this beef roll was wrapped in a tortilla. I’d pass next time.“

Everything is perfectly cooked, and loaded! Everything has rare flavor, not bland like so many places. The meat actually tastes like it should, the veggies are flavorful, as is the broth. All the vegetables are nicely cooked or too soft. This is excellence!“

I have only ever had veggie pho broth (served at most pho chain restaurants & not the best in my opinion) & this was my first experience with authentic pho broth— real bone broth that takes hours & hours to prepare until it’s incredibly rich & flavorful. I've seen this place before when I was riding Bus Route #1 going from Sunrise Mall Transit Center to Watt/I-80 Light Rail Station. I ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Large Bowl and Root Beer with light ice. The other person ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Small Bowl and Heineken Beer.“

“This was our second time at JJ's and it did not disappoint.

The first time we visited we did the Lunch AYCE and thought everything was delicious!!! The sides, the quality of meat?? Perfection! AND we thought it was a steal for $25/person because of how much food you get and everything was just really good.

Now tonight was different... We did the single BBQ option and had pork belly as the only meat it came with BUT it had so much more sides like corn cheese and steamed egg which were also 🔥🔥🔥 best part? All for $36+ tax and tip. We went home very full and very happy with our decision to visit again.

Service was great on both times too! They were very attentive. Will be back to bring friends with us.

“I came here on a whim once with my mother for a quick bite and had the most amazing meal I have had in a long time I highly recommend the fried tofu it’s so silky and crisp with some bomb ass sauce for dipping its melt in your mouth goodness and the pho is divine I don’t really make reviews but they deserve it also came here for my birthday and they were so cutely decorated for Christmas time and the service is amazing and the jasmine tea is so soothing definitely come here if you want comfort food or you are getting over a cold“

“Service was pleasant, dinning area a little dated but spacious. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered Mongolian Chicken Combo with Pork fried Rice and a side of Pork fried Egg Rolls. The Pork fried rice had NO Pork pieces in it at all, same for the Pork fried Egg Rolls. The dishes were cooked well just missing the Pork pieces. The rice had good flavor but also had dry spots of just white rice. The Mongolian had yellow onions and not green chalets but the flavor was there. Overall the food was good just needed some tweeking so it can match the description on the menu. I will visit again.“
