“After a long day at work, my coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to pho. I can genuinely say that the atmosphere and service made the experience 100 times more comfortable and just what we were looking for. On top of that, the music playlist was fire. But most importantly, the pho was a 10/10 and the egg rolls! Price is reasonable for the current economy and even if on a budget like I was, the kids size is perfect just for that. “I had such a great experience at this ramen house! My server, Poppy, was amazing. She’s so friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even better. I especially loved the red tonkatsu with the black garlic on top. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. “$8.99 banh mi sandwich. Is this the best value lunch in the grid?! HUGE portion. Lots of meat inside. Packed with pickled veggies and fresh herbs. Sliced jalapeño for kick. I tried pork and chicken today--and had a hard time finishing two halves plus I have an entire sandwich for tomorrow! Pork is probably my favorite since it is flavorful and moist. Chicken was a close second, leaner but also great. Bread was perfect and fresh. Guy at the register was talkative and friendly. I saw the woman in the kitchen listening for my order. By the time I paid, both my sandwiches were ready and wrapped to go in the window. I am so impressed with their service--especially for lunchtime it was so speedy! They accept cash and card payments. “This is one of the best Sushi restaurants in Sac. As the name suggests they have great otoro sashimi and sushi. I've tried other things on the menu, including ramen and teriyaki dishes. All are excellent. If you are a salmon sashimi lover this place has an amazing sashimi platter. Maybe the best thing about Otoro is that it's open until 11 so you can satisfy your late night sush cravings.“

“I've been to many kbbqs both around Sacramento and in K-town LA. This is by far the best kbbq place in Sacramento.
It has a very high level of traditional flavors and care for the ingredients. It's not your typical kbbq place that has strong flavors and marinades. JJs marinades accentuates the high quality meats they provide. Yes some of the unmarinated meats comes out frozen but that is how you cut meat consistently thin. Despite it being frozen you can tell they use quality meats because the brisket incredibly beefy and melts in your mouth. The thin pork belly incredible clean pork flavor. The marinated meats all came out fresh and unfrozen unlike most places in town. Their sides and cold noodles were fresh and the broth was clean and balanced between tangy, sweet and salty. Probably the best I've had so far.
Service was absolutely fine for us but it's definitely a no frill place.
Come here if you're a real foodie.“

“Stopped by here after climbing in Tahoe. Really hit the spot with the galbitang as it wasn't too heavy and it consisted of a savory yet delicate soup. They had a variety of banchan (side dishes) as well that really complemented the main dishes. Some of the main dishes and beers were a bit pricey as I've seen it available for 2/3 the price. But since I didn't order those, 5 stars for me with wonderful service.“

“I ordered their Cashew nut chicken from the lunch special. It had lots a veggies and the chicken had a nice flavor and was not chewy like at some other places. It came with a wonton but no sauce. The wonton was not crunchy and not very good. The fried rice was cooked well and tasty. The portion for lunch was good. I wish it was a little less greasy.“

“We had dinner for the first time the other night and everything was excellent. I was the only Vegan in our group and they had quite a few vegan options. I had for starters the crispy tofu and spring rolls, also the Pad Thai and the rice mango dessert. Our waiter was on top of things and it was just an all-around great experience. I've seen this place before when I was riding Bus Route #1 going from Sunrise Mall Transit Center to Watt/I-80 Light Rail Station. I ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Large Bowl and Root Beer with light ice. The other person ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Small Bowl and Heineken Beer.“

“Very nice clean restaurant. On today's visit I ordered the orange chicken and chicken chow mein, and a side order of Mongolian beef.

The orange chicken was great. The glaze had a crispy crunch like you'd want if you were eating fried chicken. The sweetness was low but balanced with the orange flavor and had pleasant subtle flavoring. Total perfection.

The chicken chow mein was cooked perfectly. The noodles were lightly coated and the flavor was light but perfect and balanced well with the orange chicken.

The Mongolian beef was excellent, came with a healthy dose of veggies, and had multiple flavors that danced on the tongue. The oils added an enhanced but light subtle flavor. In my photos I took a photo of the dish, and half the dish so you could see the oils. The oils were also great to lightly toss my chow mein with the veggies to enhance the flavor even more. The only down side was their was zero spicy and hear factor to the Mongolian beef. Your grandparents could safely eat it. Im used to my Mongolian beef being spicy with a good kick of heat to my palette. However this is my first visit to lucky wok and I am factoring in I should've asked as some restaurants customize heat to the customer's request and use mild to low spicy/heat by default.

The combination plate also comes with a soup of the day for free on dine-in orders only. Today's soup of the day was an excellent egg drop soup. It was delightful. Full of subtle flavor, and that wonderful broth which is rich and thick.

There was plenty of seating and the interior has a nice chic vibe and atmosphere. The ac was just right for comfort. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive.

I'd recommend this spot for a family outing, or for lunch or dinner on the go as they specialize in take out and delivery.“
