“Dandy's Ice Cream in North Highlands is hands down my favorite Mexican ice cream shop in Sacramento. Every time I visit, I'm blown away by the delicious flavors and amazing service.

So far, I've tried the milkshakes, raspas, and the banana split ice cream - all of which were delicious. The ice cream is rich and creamy, and the flavors are unique and bursting with flavor. I can't wait to go back and try the other items on their menu!

What really sets Dandy's apart, though, is the people who work there. They are all so friendly and welcoming, and they really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The service is truly amazing.

Overall, if you're looking for delicious Mexican ice cream in Sacramento, you have to check out Dandy's. The ice cream is amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a sweet treat!“

“Love the coffee and welcoming staff of Starbucks. I have been going to this place for long time. New management has completely changed the building and looks brand new. Restroooms were super clean… well done and keep up the clean building and well maintained, where we can enjoy the coffee. Can you please put seats outside at least during the day to enjoy coffee?

“Leo at classy Hippie curated a 3 course meal for me and a group of friends. The prices were incredibly reasonable considering the fine quality of the experience. He provided tea pairing for each course and shared his knowledge of tea along the way. Absolutely lovely! I would give them more stars if I could.“

“I've only been to Moonbelly Bakery a few times since I discovered it, but I wish I could go everyday! Their pastries and food are super fresh and high quality, staff is friendly, and everything is delicious.

They have fun with their baked good with fun and unique flavor combinations along with staples you'd expect to see at a bakery.

The offerings change throughout the day. They serve pastries/breakfast focused breads in the morning, then I think they bring in quiches/brunch items, then some sandwiches, etc. in the later hours.

No indoor seating and limited outdoor seating with a small parking lot.“

Yes I’m vegan, but I’m not gluten-free, nor do I have any food allergies… and these are still the best cookies. “Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“Just ordered a delivery from here and OH MY GOSH DELICIOUS! I got two chocolate bars, dozen doughnut holes, cinnamon roll and two beverages for me and my friend. The coffees were so warm and tasty! The doughnuts were SO FRESH, best doughnut I’ve had in ages! I’m definitely going back! :)“

“Dropped in on a late, last minute bite. Food was tasty and generous. Manager was extremely hospitable and warm. Even though my date and I were the last patrons at closing, he was very attune to the moment and invited us to linger, without any sense of rush. “Tried Bollywood pizza after hearing about it from friends, and ordered the butter chicken pizza. The crust is pretty good and the pizza was flavourful. I’d say that the butter chicken flavour could have been incorporated even more, but everything else was pretty good! Asked for a lassi, but they sadly didn’t have any.“

Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a soft moist slice of bread covered in sugar and slightly shiny. We order the 30 piece a cream cheese rollup an apple rollup, a lemon malasada, corned beef roll. All absolutely delicious!“

“My wife and I saw this place at Home Depot, and it was way past lunch. So both of us settled for chili dogs. I’ve eaten a lot of chili dogs in my life time, but this one was beyond my expectations. The chili is homemade , and the taste is awesome. There’s two picnic tables for eating, and that’s where we ate. I will definitely go back before lunch to try their other sandwiches.“

“If you want yummy German food, great beer and a relaxed inviting atmosphere this is a MUST VISIT if you're in Sacramento.

We spent the day visiting museums then had lunch here. The moment we walked in the employees were friendly, helpful and kind.

Food & Service:
You walk up to the window to order then find a seat and they bring you your food.
I was so excited to try the Schnitzel and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Schnitzel with the potatoe salad, sauerkraut & topped with lemon. WOW it was so dam good, squeeze the lemon on & chef's kiss! The potatoe salad was good but different then American style I grow up with but very good, more citrus flavor then tangy. Sauerkraut was ok.
We ordered the pretzel with both kind of cheese, our favorite being the homemade Obstza, so dam yummy way better then the other bier cheese. Then we had the Berliner Dog, also very delicious.
Beer:
We had 2 of the #10. It was very nice to drink. The gentleman taking our order at the window let me taste 2 beers because I wasn't sure which one I wanted. I'm not a beer drinker so this was very helpful.

We spent a total of $53.59

The next time we are in the area we will be back. Also they do fundraisers, the one posted was for SPCA through a dog costume party. SUPER COOL 😎.“

“I love their pizza they make an amazing pepperoni and bacon pizza and for a large it is between $17-$20 but if you order delivery the price goes up to about $25 without including the delivery fee. So I personally only do the take out since I live right down the street and I have only positive experiences with them :)“

Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.
