“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“This place rocks! Friendly staff and convenient location make it a weekly essential. Their online ordering could be better but we always call ahead for pickup and it’s super easy. The double sandwich combo is the best deal on hot chicken you can find anywhere in the area, hands down. The fries are crispy and well-seasoned and the sandwich is fresh and has everything you’d want: breading that doesn’t sacrifice flavor for spice, crunchy slaw and pickles, and juicy chicken, all on a toasty brioche bun. I’d put it up against bigger name hot chicken places in the area that will cost you a whole lot more money.“

“I was looking for food for my kids during the worst fire season of LA County’s history. Our favorite spot is closed and my daughter mentions she saw someone on YouTube review this spot in another state. I don’t usually eat food served in a gas station but the chicken, beans and rice, wedges, and biscuits were amazing. I must agree with Sam J (quote from napkin in pic) and say that this chicken is totally worth it. We took it home and it was still very crunchy and tasty. 😋 definitely coming back. The guy helping me out didn’t really understand what I was asking for so he gave me more than I wanted but it was only $30! We ended up eating everything“

“I have eaten there numerous times in the past. The chicken is terrific, a little over salted. They explained to me the batter for the chicken is pre-salted, as they don't add salt when cooking. It's still very juicy and crispy. The homemade buttermilk biscuits are to die for if you love southern style biscuits as I do. Melt in your mouth, yum!“
