Some were great like the wagyu beef and others were just OK which is why I gave it 3 stars. It's probably closer to 4 considering the service was great. Drinks were good also. I've been going to this venue on Monday nights for live music, mostly blues, for 17 years. All ages attend, and the atmosphere is chill very rare to see any issues there.

It never gets old! The fun never stops. I always have a great time, and the people (some I've seen or known for years) in attendance are fun and lively.

The first show, usually a local band, starts at 8pm.

The main event begins around 9pm and goes on until about 11pm.

Artists and bands, some famous (from all over the globe), perform here. Joe Bonamassa was just there performing. However, I believe tickets were sold for that event due to his popularity in the music world.

From about 11pm until close (around 1:30-1:45am), there is an open jam (featuring musicians and singers from all backgrounds) run by bassist Michael B. Bolden. Michael has played with many famous artists and is famous in his own rite!

During the open jam, you'll see all sorts of musicians get pared together and play and sing some amazing music.

It's certainly a treat, I often stay for this entertaining and interesting part of the evening!

The whole nights events are brought to you and run by a local promoter and blues guitarist Cadillac Zack. He's amazing and wonderful! Don't forget to get on his mailing list to be informed of upcoming events.

It's free to get in!
However, there is a two drink minimum. The bartenders render service with a smile, and they never pressure you. A voluntary contribution is asked for and collected by Cadillac Zack to pay the perfoemers sometime during the show.

No worries, though! You will get much more (amazing artists, entertainment, and people) out of it than what you put into the donation pot. Heck, you may become a regular like many of us!

Oh! One more thing! If you get hungry, the restaurant next door serves food until 10 pm. You can order right from where you are, and they'll deliver it right to you.

“Really chill atmosphere but the bartender ron/rob (white young guy) was a dick. Really judemental about taking the orders of some of my friends. They werent “bar” experienced about what kind of drink to order and he was annoyed with that. Which is unfair regardless of how tired you are as a serve worker. Other than that, the place is all vibes and great ambience.“

“Docs is one of the most fun bars to play. My band BlackHeart played there every month and the staff treated us great! Sarah always communicated and kept us in the loop. “Casey's is the perfect dive bar. But it's not really a dive bar. First of all if you cuss there they'll kick you out. You'll get a warning but beyond that there's no cussing. Great live music. All the bartenders are wonderful. Seasoned professionals. It's a Canoga Park gem“

“This place was not bad, the crows of people that were there gave me good vibes, bartenders were cordial, there were a few things that I didn't like the place is too small ,dancing floor extra small and one stall in the restroom. Way to small for the amount of people that were there. Other than that it was fun. Plenty of parking“

“First visit. We came for after dinner drinks. The arched ceiling and mood lighting are a great aesthetic. But with so many hard surfaces amplifies sound. It was pretty loud inside, so we chose an outside table. The staff were super helpful in explaining their stock and choices. Our cocktails were ok. My friend ordered a double Jack and coke. When the bill came I saw his drink cost $24! Our fancy cocktails were $14-$18. $24 for two shots of Jack Daniels and coke was disappointing. I didn't raise the issue. We ran into Fern as we walked in and she led us to kind of a back room where it was very cozy and we could easily talk. Fern was our server and she was excellent! She let my wife sample two different wines and made a beer recommendation for me. We were the only table sat in that room but we never felt forgotten or ignored. Three of us ordered the Steak ‘N’ Ale Beef Stew (the reason I wanted to go) and it was very good. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips (light batter). It did get busy, but our server was able to come around more constantly than the one at Santa Clarita. Parking: After I think 11ish the $20 valet parking lot is free. If you're going early park at the ralphs down the street and walk to the bar.

Now for the food...fire. I got the chicken tacos (two orders) and my girlfriend got the carne asada tacos. Salsa...on point. Taco size...on point. They have great drinks too!

This place has a vibey atmosphere and I really appreciate them staying open late! There's nothing better than a late night food run for tacos.

We definitely plan on visiting again!
