The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“

“We came here for Easter Sunday brunch yesterday. It’s a cute restaurant with friendly staff. However, I expected the food to taste better…I ordered their classic breakfast pizza suggested by the server. First of all, it looked great. I’m not a fan of the fake bacon because it tastes like paper. After the first couple of bites, I realized the pizza was barely edible because of the amount of big rosemary leaves added in the pizza dough. I had to hand picked them out of the pizza to avoid tasting the ‘soapy’ rosemary flavor… and I love rosemary in general. Just not THIS MUCH. I asked my friends to also taste my pizza and they all told me I should send it back.Luckily, our server took it back right away and gave me the option to change to a different pizza. The second pizza I ordered was margarita pizza. It was pretty blend. But at least edible.I do need to say their menu is probably a hit or miss. My friends ordered the breakfast burritos that they enjoyed a lot. Which is why I’m leaving it 4 stars.Note: very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.Parking: Very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.“

“3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

This has an elevated or more modern vibe compared to other "traditional" Mexican restaurants with familiar menu items (tacos, chips&guac, street corn) but several premium items (tomahawk steak, lobster bomba rice) or unique options (jimca salad, shrimp chile) as well. “I wish it was possible to give this place higher than 5 stars. We had such an incredible dinner during our weekend trip to LA.First off; the atmosphere is awesome. The open dining room, along with the lighting and music make the perfect setup for a fun/modern environment. We started off with cocktails and both really enjoyed them. For appetizers we chose the pork belly sliders based off of reviews online. I personally wasn’t blow away by them, but my girlfriend really enjoyed them. We also decided to share the truffle flatbread and WOW. This was quite easily the best part of the meal. The dough was perfect and the truffle sauce on top was incredible. Do yourself a favor and order this! For the entrees; we both opted for one of the pasta dishes. Sticking with the same theme my girlfriend got the truffle pasta. She absolutely loved it, I tried a bite and was jealous I didn’t order that myself. I chose the sweet potato gnocchi with short rib and it was very good. It probably could have used some more salt. And just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better…we ordered desert. We were going to get the churros since many reviews online talked about them, BUT based off of our server’s recommendation we ordered the chocolate cake instead. No words…just delicious. We were so content after that. We both are in agreement that this was one of the best meals we’ve had at a restaurant in a while.“

“We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.Parking: valet or metered street parking“

“I personally had the best experience here with my family! The staff was so nice and accommodating we had 2 senior dogs that we needed to bring with us because they have heart issues and can't be left alone I had them in a HUGE stroller and the staff helped me so much and gave me no hassle in bringing them in the patio area. They gave us a spacious table like I requested and I loved it! The food was amazing! Huge compliments to the chef we did the 3 course lunch meal and it was perfect! We have an autistic child that usually hates eating everything and they made him a chicken quesadilla that he devoured! This was a huge delight and was very much worth it! They even have valet which made it extremely hassle free and accommodating. You should definitely check this place out the vibe, food, decor, and staff, are all perfect!“

Que is the celebrity here. I had the Grilled Blackened Salmon. Fantastic. Very well taken care of by the whole family. Definitely a place I will be going back to the next time I am in the LA area. “Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

Patty, Francesca, Carson, Craig and the rest of the staff are the nicest people and extremely attentive. I never waited to order a refill and the food comes promptly and it always fresh. The Comte Lafond, a sauv blanc, is great and pairs well with their Rigatoni Alla Vodka.Absolute gem of a place, would highly recommend dropping in if you can get a reservation, especially on a weekend.“

“Yes, this is a neighborhood gem. When I meet friends for lunch and we're seated near the pool, I feel like I'm on vacation. It never fails to make me happy. I almost always order the hamburger because I'm a sucker for the gigantic addition of sweet potato fries, which are really the best in the city. The burger, while declicious, is too oozy and it's difficult not to drip all over myself. Wait staff is very nice. There was a "Wellness Surcharge," which I find annoying because I don't know whose wellness. I'd prefer the restaurant simply raise their prices and pay for the wellness of all by themselves. I've had two businesses and always paid for my employee's insurance. It shouldn't be put in the lap of the customer.“

“A great atmosphere, I enjoyed the games on TV, it was Tequila Tuesday which was just fine by me, and the food was delicious! Absolutely a great time, I'm really glad that I went there for dinner. The server was fast, kind, and explained the menu to me. They only have Teramasu and 2 scoops of ice cream with liquor, not much of a desert place, but there was a lot around for sweets. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here with more people. On the left was the Blue Cheese Burger, and on the right was the Pastrami Jalapeño Burger. Their Chipotle Mayo was smokey to the taste, which was excellent.“

“Tacos and margs are pretty stellar at this place. Came on Taco Tuesday, which is $1 off all tacos and $9 margs. Place wasn't busy when we got there at 12 and we were able to get our food and drinks very quickly. FYI it's more of a trendy sports bar than a restaurant, so don't be thrown off when you walk in, but deff a good place for casual lunch or happy hour. For drinks, husband and I both got the classic marg, which had a decent amount of tequila. Enough to made you happy but didn't make your eyes burn when you drank it (make sense?)We ordered 4 tacos in total (short rib, chicken, shrimp and carnitas). Short rib was my favorite by far. Super flavorful with picked onions and a spicy salsa verde sauce. Husband also really liked the chicken, which was also a little spicy (not as much as the short rib) and I also got the shrimp, which was bomb. The pineapple salsa on top really made the shrimp shine. The carnitas was ... fine. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Also ordered the carnitas nachos. Prob would have ordered this with short rib had I known how good that was. They come pretty stacked with pork, shredded cheese, homemade cheese sauce, tomatoes and onions, but personally felt like they needed some acid. Pro tip, ask for the spicy salsa verde on the side. It deff satisfied that "somethings missing" feeling. Once got that we really enjoyed the nachos. Overall, we really liked this place. Food and drinks were really good and it's off the beaten path enough that you can sit and enjoy your food in a laid back place without crazy LA prices.“
