Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! Staff was excellent and attentive. Food was amazing and very, very creative. The brick barrel vaulted ceiling that runs the length of the restaurant really adds to the ambiance of this place. Out of the seven dishes, only two were not as flavorful as expected. They were good by most other restaurant's standards, but just not great like the others. The other five dishes more than made up for this small blip.Can't wait to go again.

And do not pass up on the Charred Skirt Steak with yuca, chile de árbol, and aji mojo. Cooked to a perfect medium rare and extremely tender and exploding with flavor. The most expensive item of our dinner at $48 and absolutely worth it.“

The ambience here is amazing. Very rustic feel indeed, giving meaning to its name Rustic Spoon.

They have parking in the back and when walking in, you immediately are transformed into an experience. The ambience slaps you in the face and doesn’t let go.

We had drunken noodles and Kropaw chicken basil stirfry that was amazing. We started with Tom Kah soup and super yummy.

“Docs is one of the most fun bars to play. My band BlackHeart played there every month and the staff treated us great! Sarah always communicated and kept us in the loop. All of the bartenders and door guys made us feel welcome and enjoyed our rock style of music. We love it there and BlackHeart thanks them and will hopefully be back in house soon! Thanks guys! “What an amazing neighborhood bar!! I’ve been to the many iterations of this bar, and this is a Great place. Karaoke, games, tables and couches to sit on and hang out with friends, a pool table and outdoor patio.
I unfortunately didn’t catch the karaoke lady’s name but she remembered my name.
Celebrated my 19 anniversary with friends and we had a great time.
Super honest people there too- a purse was left at our table when we moved to a different part of the bar, and they had put our purse behind the bar. We will definitely be back. Drinks were a little expensive, but everything is going up in price. Worth it to have a cute neighborhood bar. It was a nice mix of straight and gay, young and older.

“Mr. Furley's is just a fun place to hang out. Great pub food, a huge beer selection, pool tables, dartboards, and a laid-back atmosphere. I stopped in on a Sunday night, and even after midnight the place was packed, which was awesome to see since I'm visiting from Kauai.

“I had the great fortune of finding The White Harte pub sixteen years ago at the start of the 2010 World Cup. Since that tournament and for everyone there after (and many other times in between). I’ve experienced warm friendly people in an inviting pub atmosphere. Great beers on tap and food to die for! Gol and Pierre will make you feel like family and their staff are second to none. “I had a wonderful time coming here today for lunch. There parking on the back of the restaurant where you can also enter from or the front where it's meter parking but you have complimentary two hours.

This location has a indoor and outdoor seating if you just want to enjoy some delicious food and watch sport games. The restaurant isn't that big but it works for them. The staff here are wonderful and customer service is great.

I like the hot dog, burgers and fries here. The price is reasonable and you get a good portion. There bar seating here and you get a good view of the television.“

They also have drinks and an awesome patio that is right on Ventura Blvd. I always find meter parking but just Park across the street at the shopping center if you can’t find any.

This is more than a simple taco stand it’s a full service marisqueria. My friend from Sinaloa which I consider a Mariscos expert brought me here and it’s delicious, excellent customer service. The waitresses are smoking hot and super authentic and delicious. I feel like I’m in Rosarito beach eating seafood here. So good. I highly recommend this place. This place is way too empty for the quality of food that they serve. Try the Aguachile. I asked for mild spice and they complied. I can’t handle too spicy. 🌶️“

“I like this place. Used to live nearby, but moved in 2024. I now travel 17 miles to go to this place. It has a low key vibe, service is good, and the food is good. It's inside a Nordstrom at the mall. So, it's a good spot in between shopping errands and seeing a movie at the AMC. They have a happy hour and a bar. They share pretty much the same menu as Cafe Verde at Century City & The Grove, which is blocks from me, but I prefer this location and they have French Onion soup which the others don't.“
